Huff House Bonanza is all about the bonus features – and they’re plentiful. The base game is fairly simple, but once the features start triggering, it feels like an entirely different game, with free spins, bonus wheels, jackpots, and more.
Huff House Bonanza
Overall Rating
82.4%Huff House Bonanza clearly takes inspiration from the popular Brick House Bonanza by Pragmatic Play, which was a huge hit but is no longer available at US sweepstakes casinos. Likewise, Brick House Bonanza was modeled after the land-based sensation that is Huff N’Puff, so you know what to expect going into this release at sweepstakes casinos.
That said, ICONIC21 did a really good job here, and the overall execution surprised me in a good way.
Everything feels well put together, from the visuals and animations to the mobile integration, and the wolf that blows the houses down gives it a bit of personality.
The base game is definitely the weakest part, but the features and jackpots are what make the slot machine actually fun and worth playing.

About Huff House Bonanza: Game Overview
ICONIC21 is clearly taking its slot games seriously. While the provider is better known for its live dealer titles, it has already released around 10 slot games, and Huff House Bonanza shows that this is not just a side project.
The gameplay and theme are based on the familiar Three Little Piggies and the Big Bad Wolf fairytale. The pigs are building their house to stay safe, but in this version, you actually want the Wolf to appear. It acts as the Wild symbol, so it is one of the most valuable symbols on the reels.
In terms of structure, Huff House Bonanza is a standard 5×3 video slot with traditional reels and paylines. There are no special mechanics in the base game, so it’s all about the bonus features, which is where most of the action happens.
The base game RTP is 94.01%, which is slightly below average, and while volatility is listed as high, it feels closer to low/medium. However, most of the bigger payouts come from the bonus rounds, and the base game wins are very small, with even the highest paying symbol, the purple pig, paying just 2x the bet for five of a kind.
Huff House Bonanza Slot Information
Huff House Bonanza has 25 paylines and wins are formed by landing matching symbols across the reels, starting from the left, with payouts calculated from 3 to 5 matching symbols.
The setup is as simple as it gets, and you can set your bet size directly from the bet table, with a range between 0.20 and 50, and then spin manually by clicking the spin button or using Autoplay. The Autoplay feature includes advanced settings where you can control the number of spins and stop conditions.
There is also a Bonus Buy option, where you can purchase the Free Spins feature for 100x your bet or the Bonus Wheel for 200x your bet.
The payout depends on how many matching symbols land on a payline with 0.2x for the low paying symbols and up to 2x for the purple pig.
As you can see, the base game multipliers are rather low, so most of the big payouts are tied to special symbols and the bonus games. The special symbols are:
- The Golden Pig: It’s the Scatter symbol that is tied to the Free Spins feature. You need 6 or more Golden Pigs for the Free Spins feature to trigger.
- The Big Bad Wolf: It’s the Wild symbol that substitutes all symbols to form a payline, but it can only appear on reels 2, 3, and 4.
- The Windmill: It’s a special symbol that, when 3 or more land on the reels, triggers the Bonus Wheel feature.
Huff House Bonanza Slot Features
Wild Symbol (Big Bad Wolf)
The Big Bad Wolf acts as the Wild symbol and substitutes for all regular symbols to help complete winning combinations. It appears only on reels 2, 3, and 4, and can appear during both the base game and the bonus games.
Free Spins
The Golden Pig is the Scatter symbol and is used to trigger the Free Spins feature. Landing 6 or more Pig symbols anywhere on the screen activates the bonus round, which gives you 6 free spins.
During the Free Spins feature, the idea is to collect as many Pig symbols as possible. When Pig symbols land, their positions are marked with frames that upgrade over time from straw to wood and then brick. Each upgrade increases the potential reward, and if all the symbols reach the highest level, additional Pig symbols award cash prizes.
Also, landing 3 pigs awards you +1 free spin, and there’s no limit on how many respins you can get.
At the end of the feature, the frames turn into houses, and the Big Bad Wolf appears. Like in the tale, he blows once, and all the straw houses are blown away. He blows twice, and all the wooden houses are gone. On the third blow, only the brick houses remain and reveal the highest awards, which can include multipliers or one of the 4 jackpot prizes.
Bonus Wheel
The Bonus Wheel is triggered by landing 3 or more Windmill symbols in the base game. Once activated, the wheel spins and you get a random prize, which can include one of the 4 jackpots, or one of the bonus banks, including Windmill and Mega Bank.
Mega Bank
When the wheel lands on the Mega Bank feature, a giant Pig symbol appears on the reels that covers 2 to 3 full reels. Once it disappears, you get 6 free spins, and the occupied spaces turn into Pig symbols that immediately contribute to building frames for the Free Spins feature, so you get a head start.
Windmill
If the Bonus Wheel lands on Windmill, the feature activates, and the windmill symbols move across the reels and create or upgrade frames on the positions they pass through. These frames carry over into the Free Spins feature, and, like in the Mega Bank feature, the idea is to give you a head start for the bonus game.
Brick House
The Brick House is the best Bonus Wheel feature you can get. It places fully upgraded frames on the reels before the Free Spins begin, so every Golden Pig symbol you hit upgrades other frames, and as I mentioned, the better the frames, the better the rewards.
Sudden Wolf
The Sudden Wolf Feature can trigger randomly during the base game. When it appears, it awards an instant bonus, which may include Free Spins, the Bonus Wheel, or a direct cash win.
Jackpots
On top of all the features, Huff House Bonanza has 4 jackpots: Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand. The prizes are fixed, so this is the multiplier for each one:
- Mini: 12x
- Minor: 60x
- Major: 500x
- Grand: 5,000x
There are three ways to hit one of the jackpots: through a brick house frame during the Free Spins bonus game, through the bonus wheel, or through the Sudden Wolf feature during the base game.
Game Specs: RTP & Volatility
Huff House Bonanza has an RTP of 94.01%, which is decent but not great. Regarding volatility, the base game feels like low to medium volatility because you get very frequent wins, but they’re very small in value. The bigger payouts come only from the bonus features, and that’s where the high volatility comes into play.
200 Spins Test of Huff House Bonanza
This is the first time I have tested a slot game by ICONIC21, so I was surprised at how good the graphics and animations are. Also, every button is where you expect it to be, and it genuinely feels like the studio has been making slot games for decades, not months.
I started with 10,000 coins in my balance and set the bet level to 1 coin. However, after just ~20 spins, I realized that the base game is very boring, especially with this low bet level. Yes, wins do appear often, but they’re so small and insignificant that it feels like you’re playing for nothing and just waiting to hit one of the bonus games.
So, I went on to buy the Free Spins feature for 100 coins and the Bonus Wheel feature for 200x the bet level (in my case, 200 coins). During the feature, I got lucky to hit the Brick House mini game.
This mini game also awards 6 free spins, but before the feature started, 4 of the frames had already been upgraded to the highest level. This gives you a head start, so whenever a Golden Pig appeared on the reels, it upgraded another frame.
Don’t worry, the whole ‘upgraded frames’ thing isn’t as complicated as it sounds, and the most important part is how many brick frames you have when the free spins end. This time, all my frames were brick, so I hit 3 Mini and 4 Minor jackpots and a few big wins for a total of 1,291 coins.
I went on to buy the feature three more times, and although I hit some decent wins, I was never close to this one, so the game’s volatility feels very high even when the bonus features are active.
I raised the bet level to 20 coins to see how the game feels, and after playing the base game for ~80 spins, I finally got 3 Windmills and hit the Bonus Wheel feature naturally. I got the Mega Bank feature, and after 5 respins (and 11 free spins in total), I got 6 brick houses for a total win of 8,265 coins.
I completed my 200 spins Huff House Bonanza slot test with ~11,000 coins, which means that I made a profit of 1,000 coins. However, most of the wins came down to the bonus games and the fact that I got lucky to get the brick house feature, because otherwise, I would have likely ended up with a loss.
