Fliff Social Sportsbook Review

Fliff is a social sportsbook app launched in 2019 by Fliff, Inc. It’s not a traditional sportsbook but instead offers sports betting in a social gaming environment. Fliff is legal in 45 out of 50 states, the exceptions being Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Tennessee, and Washington, where Fliff sweepstakes are prohibited. How Fliff Works

5,000 Fliff Cash is the max redemption limit per transaction for both Skrill and Bank Transfer. A clause under the sweepstakes rules says that Fliff can limit redemptions to $1,000 a week at its discretion – I found that rather questionable.

Fliff isn’t licensed by any state regulatory commission, but by virtue of being a social sweepstakes platform and not a real money betting site, it doesn’t have to be. It abides by the no purchase necessary clause under national sweepstakes rules and allows bettors to make picks for free. So it’s a perfectly legal sportsbook that you can bet with almost anywhere in the US.

The Kings did a bit more snooping around, and we came upon the fact that the sportsbook is owned and operated by Fliff, Inc. The company has no other betting products, so I went fishing instead for real customer reviews. Fliff has 4.8/5 stars on the App Store, and almost as many stars on the Play Store. This makes it the most endorsed app I’ve ever reviewed.

This platform provides a secure environment thanks to top-grade security encryption and the implementation of strict verification checks. Fliff uses manual verification and may request copies of your SSN, passport, and proof of address, such as a utility bill.

Contacting Fliff is possible via email at support@getfliff.com or using the contact form on the platform to open a support ticket. When I sent a message with the latter, I got a reply within a few hours, which is relatively quick for this type of contact method. Customer service through these mediums is available 24/7, so you can message them at any time.

Unfortunately, live chat is not available. Fliff has social media pages on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok but they’re not very active from what I could gather. The other more helpful way of getting information would be through the Help Center. I found a well-categorized list of frequently asked questions that answered a good number of queries new players will have about this site.

The first notable point about Fliff is that it allows mobile-only access. I tried accessing the social sportsbook via desktop and was unable to, but was instead directed to get the app on the Apple Store, Play Store, or as a no-download Web App.

The sportsbook is working on becoming available on desktop as of the time of my Fliff review. In the meantime, the app offers a seamless and easy-to-navigate interface thanks to a simple layout, great filtering options, and user-friendly social gaming features.

How It Stacks Up

Fliff is a sportsbook with low sports coverage compared to others on the market. It looks like a newbie compared to Rebet or Sportzino when, in reality, Fliff has been around for longer. A lot of its offerings are standard, though. The range of social features, payment methods, and transaction times are on par with most other similar sites.

Where Fliff manages to outdo the competition is in mobile usability. The app is available for both iOS and Android users, whereas others are only iOS friendly or have no apps at all. Although Fliff has a relatively smaller welcome bonus than what you’ll find at other sites, the purchase deal is one of the best and most generous.

Our Experts Verdict

Doing a Fliff review that extensively covers all aspects of the sweepstakes sportsbook is a time-consuming thing. But the weeks, sometimes months, of testing and probing are often necessary to truly arrive at the most accurate verdict.

The areas that stuck out as pain points were the small number of sports and the limited customer support. It’s usually the case for newer sportsbooks to be facing these issues. I reasoned that Fliff might simply want to specialize in its small range of sports which is why they’re not expanding on this aspect. But there’s no way to explain the lack of live chat and other support channels.

Fortunately, there are several good aspects to this sportsbook. The promos are attractive, especially the purchase bonus. There’s a nice variety of betting markets, and if you stick to pre-game betting, the odds are very good. The XP rewards system was one of the things we loved the most about the app.

Fliff banking is reliable and faster than you’d think, considering the long redemption processing time. The payment methods are also extremely secure. Finally, the mobile user experience is easily accessible, neatly designed, and highly intuitive.

Overall, Fliff is not as expansive as other social sportsbooks I’ve reviewed, and significantly far behind real money sportsbooks.
