200 Spins Test of Mo Mummy
On a recent trip to Las Vegas I got the chance to finally try out Mo Mummy for myself and to perform the SweepsKings 200 spins test on this game. And spoiler alert, it was a bit of a disaster.
For my first 50 spins I played at $7.50 per spin, and while I was able to score some wins, they were usually smaller than my bet — and throughout the first 50 spins, I think I only got two wins that were bigger than my bet. Down a little under $200, I decided to go for a strategy of damage limitation and immediately switched my bet to $0.75 for the remainder of my test.
Another 50 spins went by, and while better, I still wasn’t able to reach any of the bonuses, and my net loss continued to plummet. Two of the free spins symbols had landed on the reels a couple of times by now — and this was definitely the bonus that I was closest to hitting. But it just wasn’t my day.
To clarify, while highly volatile, I don’t think this much of a dry run is normal in this game. And in the interest of transparency, while I was having a torrid time, the lady next to me had landed three bonuses on the same game.
Back to my next 50 spins though, and the bad luck was continuing. At one point, I even went 17 spins without a win. However, despite that, this actually ended up being the only stretch of 50 games that I managed to turn a profit in — and approaching my 150th spin, a mummy symbol and green gem finally landed at the same time to take me to the Cash Collect bonus. This was a fun bonus. And while coins were sparse, I managed to power up two times and get the mummy zone to 4×4 — finishing the bonus with a respectable win of $48.75.
Unfortunately, this would be my final bonus. And while my fourth set of 50 spins managed to award a couple of big payline wins, I didn’t reach another bonus. This took my final tally after 200 spins to -$227.25.
So not great. However despite that, there’s no doubt in my mind that this game is fair — as while I suffered, the lady beside me walked away as a big winner.
