Ed Craven (Australian) and Bijan Tehrani (American) are the founders and owners of the Stake brand.

A 2026 US court filing identifies Well Done STK Limited and Ashwood Holdings Pty Ltd as corporate parents of Sweepsteaks Limited, while also identifying Easygo Group Holdings Pty Ltd elsewhere in the wider structure.

In other words, Sweepsteaks Limited is the legal entity behind Stake.us, but it sits within a broader family of related gambling companies.

Sweepsteaks Limited Social Casinos

Stake had already grown into a global gambling business by the time Sweepsteaks Limited appeared in 2022, but the US was a different proposition.

Stake.com wasn’t available to American players because its offshore, real-money gambling model couldn’t simply be offered across the US under the country’s state-by-state gambling laws.

Popular streamers on Kick include Trainwreckstv, ClassyBeef, Adin Ross, and Clavicular. Adin Ross in particular became one of Stake’s most prominent promoters before moving on in 2025.
