Betr is an online gaming platform established in 2022 by Jake Paul and Joey Levy.

The launch of Betr’s sportsbook and DFS verticals made headlines at major outlets a while back, but its social casino vertical launched only recently, in March 2026.

If you’re eager to explore how Betr’s sweepstakes casino works, I’ve tested the app and prepared a complete review for you. Let’s start with the basics.

Betr is operating in most U.S. regions in one way or another. Eligibility will depend on the product you are planning to use (Casino, DFS, Skill). The map featured on Betr’s homepage shows the following as currently unavailable states:

How Betr Social Casino Works

Betr operates slightly differently from your average sweepstakes casino. For one, it uses a three-currency system rather than just two.

• Gold Coins (GC) are used for recreational play and work exactly the same as free credits in social casinos.
• Betr Cash (BC) is the sweepstakes promotional currency used in the Betr Casino section. It functions as standard Sweeps Coins with a 1x playthrough condition before redemptions can be requested.
• Betr Bucks (BB) is a virtual currency placed instead of real money bets in Betr Picks, the app’s sportsbook section.

The fact that a single app offers both sweepstakes gaming and sports picks at once means you should pay extra attention to your eligibility. I recommend you read all three T&Cs to stay on the safe side.

Betr Casino Bonuses

Betr offers a ton of promotions, but only some of them are usable in the Casino section. While casino players who haven’t pre-registered aren’t offered any no purchase promos, Betr Picks players can still use the No Sweat Entries promo to claim two bet insurance tokens of up to $100 each.

The first purchase bonus gives you a 25% boost on any package priced $9.99 or more, which is slightly less than what you’ll find at most other apps (50% and higher is the norm).

As a regular customer, you can get more virtual currency for free through a host of promos.

• Alternative Method of Entry: Write a handwritten letter to Betr Social, LLC, and send it to 290 NE 68th Street, Miami, FL 33138 to receive 3 Betr Cash per approved envelope.
• Faucet: Betr can send you 1 Betr Cash whenever your SC balance is zero, and you don’t have any pending redemptions.
• Beat Jake’s Score: Essentially, a bounty contest that you can win if you manage to hit a higher multiplier than Jake in the Arcade game 21. Only plays made against real opponents (PvP) qualify.
• Social Casino Giveaways: At the time of writing, I opted in to participate in the Polaris RZR Giveaway, but I imagine similar events will be featured now that Betr Casino has officially launched.

I should also mention that there is a referral bonus, but it’s only available for the Betr Picks part of this app. Namely, players who’ve made at least $10 in Betr Picks sports plays can invite friends and receive $10 in Betr Cash plus a 25% commission on each referral’s first purchase as a bonus.

You can easily find a solid bunch of popular RNG-tested slots made by Fantasma, BGaming, 3 Oaks, and several other reputable providers, as well as niche titles from a relatively new developer called Powderkeg Studios.

I haven’t seen their games in any US sweepstakes casinos, so it’s safe to count them among Betr exclusives. Available gaming categories include slots, RNG tables, live social casino, and instant-win games.

While the game cards don’t reveal much information, tapping a game will tell you the supported playing range in your chosen currency. For instance, 3 Pigs of the Caribbean is a great pick for casuals, as it accepts spins from 0.20 BC to 25 BC per play.

Betr offers a fairly flexible lineup of banking methods, including Visa and Mastercard, PayPal, Instant Bank Transfers, and Venmo. All are universally suited for both purchases and redemptions, but availability and specific limits may vary by region.

Another universal trait of Betr’s banking is the closed-loop process. Redemptions will typically be processed through the same method used for purchases (original source), while any excess redeemable SCs may be transferred to another linked (and verified) method.

I’ve seen a trend of “financial affordability checks” emerging overseas, and it seems Betr is following a similar approach. New players aged 18 to 25 will have a $2,500 monthly purchase limit imposed on their accounts after signing up; I’ll talk more about this in the RSG section.

Payment Options Review

Your first redemption may take a bit longer than usual. For example, Betr’s Help Desk says that debit card redemptions may take between 24 and 48 extra hours for internal verification, but subsequent redemptions (after your initial one) will normally be processed within 3 days.

Unlike some US sweepstakes casinos, Betr doesn’t let players make purchases or redeem through card-sourced e-wallets; for example, you’ll have to activate your PayPal or Venmo with a routing number instead of simply using it as a buffer for your Visa purchases.

The wallet lets you view your purchase and redemption history by month, shows how much unplayed and redeemable Betr Cash you have, and lists your remaining Gold Coin balance at the top. If you have any activity in Betr’s Fantasy Sports, you can see your remaining funds by tapping the Fantasy Wallet below the Redeem button.

Is Betr Casino Legit?

My initial assessment of Betr’s Casino is as follows: it has been around for several years, has the backing of Jake Paul, 12,000+ reviews on Google Play alone, plus 63,000 positive comments on the App Store with a rating of 4.7 out of 5.

I was skeptical of its unimpressive Trustpilot rating, so I dug deeper and found that this platform has been in the works since 2014.

The roots of Betr stretch back to Draftpot, the sports betting app that Betr’s CEO, Joey Levy, was initially working on. Deeper research revealed that plenty of other big names were involved in building Betr, including Alex Ursa (FanDuel) and Florida Funders.

While Betr Casino doesn’t appear to be licensed (not a requirement for sweeps gaming), its sportsbook had valid licenses in Indiana, Virginia, and Ohio; its Massachusetts (MGC) license was suspended in 2024, though.

I’ve been fortunate enough to review dozens of sweepstakes casinos with excellent customer support, but Betr’s support absolutely knocked it out of the park. When they said that they offered instant support, I didn’t believe they truly meant it until I saw a notification for a new email a minute after I sent my request.

I stayed online with the same support agent for several hours, and they’ve been so helpful and polite that they even submitted screenshots, detailed breakdowns with bulleted lists, highlights for the main points I was inquiring about, and most importantly, they kept responding to my follow-ups quickly.

The first thing you’ll notice about Betr is that it’s an app-only sweepstakes casino, social sportsbook, and sports betting platform, all in one.

A site exists, but it basically tells you what the app does and contains several helpful resources (e.g., a link to the Help Center and a QR code that takes you to the app’s download page).

The casino apps have good designs; gaming filters let you quickly browse by gaming category, the Wallet section lets you preview your played and unplayed Betr Cash balance.

Technically, Betr Casino’s sisters are the Betr Daily Fantasy Sports and Betr Picks (sportsbook), but considering that all three are available from the same app, it doesn’t have any third-party siblings.

Comparison

How It Stacks Up

Betr is competing on multiple fronts and holds up well even when stacked up against other high-tier hybrid social gaming sites like Bracco or Legendz. However, Betr is more focused on social and real-money sports, which puts more slots-focused sites like KingPrize miles ahead.

This platform used to run a huge pre-registration bonus until recently, but its promos are a bit less impressive now. By contrast, Bracco’s Cashback and the standard signup deal at Legendz offer far more value.

While the payment methods at Betr are quite good compared to industry standards, it can’t compete with crypto social sportsbooks like Bracco, where you can use half a dozen cryptocurrencies or pick from standard cards and ACH transfers.

Ultimately, Betr’s pivot into social casino gaming is a nice change, but more are needed to become truly competitive.

As a social sportsbook and DFS app that has just launched a sweepstakes casino, Betr has exceeded all of our expectations here at SweepsKings. It’s already a full-service social gaming platform with multiple verticals, plenty of big names powering its slots and live dealers, and fully functional apps for both iOS and Android.

However, Betr would be much better if it paid more attention to free-play bonuses. Even with what’s currently available, we do believe Betr’s casino is worth downloading and trying out. The faucet can give you some free credits, and a lucky hit on the slots could take you straight to cash-out.
