Bonuses Review

The current lineup of promotions is nothing to write home about, and I can only hope MonkeySpins plans to introduce more offers down the line.

Firstly, there are no mentions of daily login bonuses in the Sweeps Rules. What’s more, the current version of the site doesn’t even have a Bonuses or a Promotions section. The verification and referral bonus details appear in a pop-up window when you press the “Earn Free SC” button on the right side, above the live chat.

Inviting friends with your unique referral link will give you 250,000 GC + 10 free SC, but only after your referrals make GC pack purchases worth $40 or more.

The mail-in promotion offers 1 SC, and to claim it, you’ll have to send a handwritten AMOE request to MonkeySpins Casino’s address. Read the Mail-in Entry section of the Sweeps Rules to learn how to claim this bonus.

Other than that, MonkeySpins Casino is steadily building its social media presence, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see giveaways, tournaments, and contests across its X, Instagram, and Facebook pages soon.

Games, or more specifically slots, should’ve been MonkeySpins Casino’s strongest card. However, I discovered a few significant issues while playing them, but let’s start with the positives first.

At the moment, the site’s library includes over 500 games, including 200+ Evoplay titles and a larger part of Hacksaw Gaming’s catalog. I’ve seen a few automated tables and instant-win games while browsing, but their filters didn’t work when I used them.

What I like the most is that the provider lobbies list 10 games at a time, as opposed to the usual 4-6 games per row. Although the thumbnails are small, the lobbies are easy to navigate on desktop and mobile devices.

My biggest gripe with MonkeySpins is its absurdly high minimum Gold Coin bet limits. Essentially, all games multiply your GC balance by 100 before displaying it in-game, meaning what looks like a 75,000 GC balance is actually just 750 GC for gameplay purposes. This makes spins feel more expensive than they should be, and there’s no option to adjust the coin size.

MonkeySpins is powered by close to a dozen industry-recognized software studios and is among the few sites that feature Shady Lady slots.

The lobby offers no information about each game. Normally, you’d be able to practice or demo dozens of games before depleting your no deposit bonus, but with spin limits being so high, I doubt you’ll get to try more than 2 or 3 slots without getting lucky.

The T&Cs, however, did mention that Gold Coins can be purchased, while Sweeps Coins can only be earned through gameplay and contests, or gifted with GC purchases.

The wallet is located at the top of the page. There’s a toggleable button next to it which you can use to switch from Gold Coins to Sweeps coins, or vice versa.

Gold Coin packs are available in the range of $4.99 to $249.99. The only redemption limitations outlined in the Sweeps Rules say that players from Florida can redeem up to $5,000 per day, and that MonkeySpins won’t process more than one redemption request every five days.

After checking with the support team, I received a confirmation that the minimum redemption requirement is 100 SC.

Look for the “Shop” with a little monkey icon on the left sidebar; tap it, and you’ll enter the GC Store. To redeem your winnings, you’ll have to open your account settings and scroll down until you’ve reached the “Redeem” button. You can only access redemptions if you’ve passed the full KYC verification process.

MonkeySpins has a few glaring issues, but none that suggest outright scam tactics or deliberate foul play. I was able to verify the listed owner company with minimal effort, and it appears to be a legitimate business entity.

The site’s glitches and rough edges may be explained by its recent launch. These kinds of hiccups are not unusual for new gaming sites. However, I did notice that the site footer lists “VSI Engage Limited” as the operator, which shares an address with several unrelated businesses. I found no online records of VSI Engage, so this could simply be outdated info.

Based on everything I found, MonkeySpins seems to be a legitimate but underdeveloped sweepstakes casino that still needs to clean up its presentation and resolve inconsistencies.

Our Experts Verdict

Several major drawbacks hold MonkeySpins back from entering the races. The cap on winnings from the first-purchase bonus, the bet size fiasco, unresponsive filters, and the lack of promotions aren’t easy to overlook.
