The name is unambiguous about what this game-of-chance platform is all about.

I can’t think of a single person I know who hasn’t bought at least one scratchcard. Those who want to get on with the program, well folks, scratch cards have gone digital, just like slots, table and card games.

Scratchee is a website that connects major US retailers with people who enjoy discovering their lucky numbers and symbols. There are 10 different cards with prizes ranging from $50 to $200,000.

Legal States

We are used to seeing social casino restrictions and we specify those states. In the case of Scratchee there are no casino games, which makes the platform available in the 50 contiguous states.

The T&Cs note that certain games (cards) may not be available to the residents of Georgia, Florida, Maine, Michigan and New York. Subscribers need to be 18 or older to register an account and redeem prizes.

How Scratchee Works

Unlike social casinos which rely on two virtual currencies, Scratchee has only one called Scratch Coins (SC). However, just like Sweeps Coins, this currency is worth $1 USD.

Scratch Coins can be used to purchase access to the Vault where players can access the various scratch cards offered on the platform.

Winners can redeem their SCs or use the coins to play and potentially win more of the same.

Another similarity I’ve identified in my Scratchee review is that bonus Scratch Coins can not be withdrawn directly, but you can purchase other scratch cards and redeem winnings from there.

The choice of retailers covers all famous stores, clothing and tech brands, online platforms. Just a few to illustrate Scratchee’s success in securing partnerships and discounts: Amazon, Apple, Nike, Netflix, Best Buy…

Scratchee Bonuses

The first US all-scratchcard platform does treat its players to bonuses, or in other words, free Scratch Coins. However, if you are looking for a Scratchee welcome bonus, it’s a bit different from social casinos.

Signing up secures you a personal account that enables you to grab the Scratchee top-up bonus. This bonus doubles the amount of your Scratch Coins 100%, up to 100 SC when you spend $10.00 or more.

There is one notable detail for this Scratchee bonus: residents of Florida, Georgia, Maine, Michigan and New York are excluded from the promotion.

Bonuses Review

Scatchee is a free-to-play platform for scratch cards and players can get a daily serving of free Scratch Coins for the first 10 days from signing up. One SC is guaranteed, but you can win up to 1000 coins.

Free coins are rewarded via the Spin To Win wheel every day, starting at 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. If you miss your turn, the potential acquisition is void, but you can get your free SCs the next day.

At the expiration of the promotional 10-day period, Spin To Win turns continue to be available to players who purchase access via the Vault.

Free coins via AMOE are available one per valid entry. The “catch” is that you need to state, in 20 words or more, your reason for wanting to play on the Scratchee website.

Another way to obtain free Scratch Coins is via friend referrals. The person who shares Scratchee via a dedicated link gets 20 free SCs for every person that signs up.

Three conditions need to be met: spend $10 or more, have Vault access and reside in a state that’s not restricted.

Unfortunately, my Scratchee review didn’t find the kind of bonuses I am used to seeing at the top social casinos. In plain words, there aren’t any social media bonuses or a VIP program.

I am sure that our loyal SweepsKings readers have figured it out by now that Scratchee is a niche website for scratchcard fans.

Unlike slots and live casino games, scratchcards offer far less dynamic gameplay. Sure, each design is animated with intuitive navigation, but the bottom line is that Scratchee is a specific game of chance.

On the other hand, the prizes are more than real. The biggest single-card win to date was $100,000 in 2024 and there are 10 different Scratchees with different buy-ins, prize pools and odds.

My Scratchee review will cover a few of the options so potential players have an idea what to expect.

Objectively speaking, I can’t see scratchards in the same light as other games found in social casinos. The mojo of gamification is not there and that chips away from the sense of being in the flow of the game.

My own attitude to a niche gaming platform like the one at hand is to give it a try and come back a few times for the sheer possibility of chancing upon a buzzworthy prize. Scratchcards can offer a minute or few steeped in suspense, and to that effect, fun.

Needless to say, there are the maximum prizes which range from attainable to fanciful – but nevertheless possible.

The operator behind Scratchee is a NJ-based company called DGR Media. I was able to find company information with ease, including the address. A Terms and Conditions document informs players about their relationship with the platform upon the creation of an account and there is a Privacy Policy and Master Rules page.

Likewise, bonus terms and acquisition of free coins are explained in unambiguous terms. In several places of said legal texts is specified that no purchase is required to enter or win. A breakdown of the odds is provided on the FAQ page.

Scratchee has one of the simpler websites but does the job well. You can’t compare it to social casinos because scratch cards don’t require serious amounts of bandwidth and therefore load times are fast.

As there are presently only about a dozen scratch cards, it’s nearly impossible to experience loading issues. Overall, the company has created a simple and efficient user experience for a pastime that requires just that.

It’s hard to compare Scratchee to other platforms that were reviewed by SweepsKings experts, however, we can take areas of the casinos dedicated to scratchcards.

How It Stacks Up

Scratchee has some competition from established social casinos that offer a dedicated section for scratch cards. The difference is that some of the games and game providers for instant win cards repeat, which makes Scratchee’s offering unique.

The area where this operator is not up to scratch is the lack of Scratchee bonuses. Compared to the casinos in the table, you can get free entries for the first 10 days only, compared to daily login bonuses whose GC and SC drops are good for any scratch card.

In conclusion, Scratchee has a few strong suits, namely, the huge jackpots and the fact that one card can offer several prize tiers.

Our Experts Verdict

Playing at Scratchee’s social scratchcard platform has been a singular experience for me. I’ve never seen so many cards loaded with jackpots. Sure, scratch cards on social casinos can also shake out large prizes, but Scratchee’s prizes are on another level.

My take on this one of a kind platform, where you can play for free but not for as long and as casually, is that it’s still worth the try. Scratchee’s promotions limit you to friend referrals and AMOE (1 SC), but if you become a paying customer, the odds are bound to tilt some prizes your way.
