Five developers behind Stake’s exclusive slots and instant games have now been spun out into Juice, a new B2B venture, giving third-party casinos access to these studios’ titles for the first time.
And we reached out to Juice founder and CEO Brais Pena Sánchez to ask whether Juice games would eventually be made available to sweepstakes casinos, given that these studios’ games are already available on Stake.us.
The answer was yes:
“Our games will be available on sweeps casinos,” Sánchez told SweepsKings.
Juice Launches with Five Studios
Juice has launched with the following studios on board:
- Massive Studios
- Twist Gaming
- Knucklehead Syndicate
- The Originals
- Monstrums
Their collective back catalogs already total more than 130 games, including major hits like Drac’s Stacks from Massive Studios and Bank Basher from Twist Gaming. Other titles include Knucklehead Brothers from Knucklehead Syndicate, as well as Fish and Candy Crunch again from Twist.
Overall, these games have generated more than $12 billion in turnover while exclusive to Stake, giving the new supplier a pretty substantial track record before even opening its doors to other operators. Sánchez says Juice will also release new games every single week.
And operators won’t need to integrate each studio separately. Juice’s entire portfolio is available through a single remote game server (RGS) integration, meaning operators get access to the five studios through one technical connection and commercial relationship. Roobet, a crypto casino, is the first third-party operator to receive the games in this way.
Will this Make Stake Feel Less Exclusive?
For Stake, the move could be something of a double-edged sword.
Stake still has plenty of exclusive studios that aren’t part of Juice, but the Juice games that were once exclusive to its global casino and US sweeps platform will now be available on competing casinos – potentially taking away one of the things that made Stake’s lobby distinctive.
However, Stake co-founders Ed Craven and Bijan Tehrani also have an interest in the new venture – Sánchez’s LinkedIn post announcing Juice thanked the pair for backing him “as investors.”
Sánchez was part of Stake’s founding team and joined Easygo as its fifth employee, later serving as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Strategy Officer. He says he was involved in building the company’s corporate functions and game studios, and led Stake’s expansion into regulated markets.
Now, the studios behind some of Stake’s biggest exclusive slot games are being opened up to the wider industry. And, based on Sánchez’s confirmation to SweepsKings, that wider industry could well include sweeps casinos in the future.
