CapySpin Sweepstakes Casino Review

CapySpin is a brand-new sweepstakes casino that’s still in the beta stages of testing, which means you can’t yet request redemptions on the site. However, the initial bonuses look promising with 10 CC available on sign-up, daily tasks that inch you closer towards a Grand Prize, mystery rewards on the Wheel, and guaranteed progressive login rewards each day.

It also looks like the website is gearing up for regular tournaments, with a dedicated Leaderboard section, though no data is available just yet. As far as game variety goes, I found plenty of popular slots and specialties alongside a handful of virtual tables. There are no live options.

The biggest area where CapySpin needs dire improvement is its mobile website. Menus are sized inappropriately, and it’s difficult to do anything from your smartphone. I would also like to see live chat support offered in the near future, though email responses are sent very quickly.

In the following review, I’m discussing the aspects of CapySpin I liked and highlighting where it needs to change before it can truly become competitive in the sweepstakes arena.

How CapySpin Social Casino Works

CapySpin is a new entrant to the sweepstakes arena, and it doesn’t have any sister sites. Still, it qualifies as a sweepstakes casino because it doesn’t accept real money for betting purposes. I had to use two in-game currencies to play here.

You’ll use Orange Coins (OC) to get some practice in and have fun, but your OC winnings aren’t redeemable for prizes. If you want to cash out down the line, you have to play games with Capy Coins (CC). Like Sweeps Coins, Capy Coins are redeemable for cash at $1.00 per CC.

Keep in mind that your CC is subject to playthrough requirements of at least 1x, but no more than 30x. Because CapySpin is a sweepstakes casino, it’s able to operate in many more states than real money gaming sites with no license required.

CapySpin turns up the heat early with a massive no deposit bonus. I collected 30,000 OC, 10 free CC, and three Lucky Spins after signing up, verifying my email, and completing my profile. My Lucky Spins on the Wheel gave me an extra 20,000 OC and 0.2 free CC, but your bonuses may vary depending on fate. Unfortunately, maximum prizes aren’t specified on the Wheel at all.

I’m not a massive fan of the site’s first-purchase bonuses, which cap at a 100% boost. You can spend as little as $2.99 for 5 free CC or as much as $69.99 for 99 free CC. The most generous offer gives you 800,000 OC, 47 free CC, and 4,500 VIP Points for $20.99.

The site’s login bonus operates on a 28-day cycle, offering varying amounts of OC, free CC, VIP Points, and Lucky Spins as you continue playing games. By the end of my first week here, I got a total of 84,000 OC, 0.5 free CC, and 21,000 VIP Points.

Daily tasks are also available, and they’re quite simple. Completing Lucky Wheel spins, making purchases, placing CC / OC bets, and winning past certain thresholds all rewarded me with free coins and Task Points. You can get 50,000 OC + 5 CC + 2 spins by completing enough Tasks.

Referring friends to the site gives you up to 100,000 OC + 20 free CC per person, and you’ll unlock certain milestones with five, 10, 20, or 50 successful referrals.

There’s even a bonus available once you finish KYC verification, which I haven’t seen elsewhere.

Giveaways aren’t available yet, but CapySpin has set up a Facebook page, so maybe this will change in the future.

Finally, the site’s VIP Club spans six tiers while offering exclusive daily rewards, priority customer support, surprise birthday gifts, level-up bonuses, and Lucky Wheel spins with much greater potential.

Purchases normally start at $1.99 and go up to $99.99, but if you’re making your first purchase, the entire menu costs between $2.99 and $69.99.

It can take up to 30 days for all redemptions to reach your bank account, and if you attempt to redeem more than 600 CC at a time, you’ll be asked to provide your full Social Security Number (SSN) for tax purposes.

Florida players are limited to redeeming $5,000, regardless of their prize, but there are no upper limits for players in other states. I went ahead and finished KYC early to save myself the hassle once CapySpin finally approves redemptions.

Is CapySpin Casino Legit?

It’s still early days for the casino, and I personally can’t tell whether CapySpin is the real deal or not. The website is still in beta mode, and it doesn’t have any sister sites to bolster its very new reputation.

There’s no information on the website indicating whether CapySpin’s games are RNG-certified, but partnerships with big-name providers like BGaming and Belatra put me at ease. Still, I would feel more comfortable playing here if the FAQ explicitly said that all games are fair and random.

CapySpin asks for your browser location before gameplay, but this is easily bypassed with a VPN or proxy server. It’s also the first sweeps casino I’ve seen that asks for your SSN outright before approving larger redemptions.

On the bright side, KYC is processed through Sumsub. I was asked to upload my ID and take a selfie, and my identity was verified within a few minutes. Your financial details are protected by 256-bit encryption, so you can safely make purchases with your debit card or bank account.

My verdict? We’ll need to wait and see whether redemptions open up or whether it vanishes from the Internet after taking players’ money.

CapySpin’s customer service is limited to just an email and an FAQ at the moment. Chat, phone, and social media support aren’t available. While it remains to be seen whether CapySpin will respond to Facebook messages, the casino had only four followers at the time of writing.

I sent a message to support@capyspin.us and got a reply within the hour. However, follow-up responses took a bit longer. Still, this is an excellent response time, given that the standard is 12 – 24 hours for most casinos.

I was also able to chat with other players about potential redemption limits and rules. The FAQ is split into four sections covering bonuses, purchases/redemptions, gameplay mechanics, and VIP-related inquiries. However, it’s a little hard to find because it’s only listed on the site footer.

Signing up with CapySpin couldn’t be much easier – it took me all of 60 seconds to enter my email, create a new password, verify my email, and complete my account profile for bonuses.

As for my experience with the desktop site, I have minimal complaints. Promotional banners are conveniently located at the top of the page, and clicking them brings you straight to daily bonuses/the Lucky Wheel/first purchase offers/daily tasks. You can also jump to the Lucky Wheel, your task list, and daily bonuses by clicking the wheel, checklist, and gift box icons at the bottom portion of the website.

When you click a particular game icon, you can view the minimum/maximum bet size for OC/CC and see how many people are enjoying the game in real-time. Tapping the miniature heart at the right side of the page adds the game to your “Favorites” collection.

In terms of both aesthetics and functionality, CapySpin hits the nail on the head. A subtle color change happens whenever you switch from Orange Coins to Capy Coins, too.

Unfortunately, CapySpin’s desktop website is much easier to use than the mobile website. The mobile version of the site borders on unusable with broken menus, inappropriate all-around sizing, and a glaring lack of attention to detail. I can only hope that this is a beta mode problem.

For what it’s worth, once you pick a game on mobile, it runs well. The issue is using the top menus, side menu, and other website functions without accidentally clicking something else. I would like to see CapySpin develop an instant-play app and fix these issues immediately.

Admittedly, CapySpin is in “beta mode” and thus falls behind most of its primary competition. Time will tell if the casino opts to include live games, change its playthrough, or make additional changes prior to going fully official.

Still, with 600+ games and one of the industry’s best welcome bonuses, it’s off to a decent start. None of the other casinos listed here offer anywhere near 10 free SC on sign-up.

LoneStar only has around 625 games, but it beats CapySpin with stunning first purchase bonuses. Mega Bonanza, Casino.click and Spree Casino tower above CapySpin in terms of game count, but CapySpin offers more variety except for live games and site-wide jackpots.

CapySpin is a fun, immersive, and promo-focused sweepstakes casino that just went live. The site’s recency is only cause for concern because RNG-certified games aren’t a given and prize redemptions aren’t yet offered. Customer support is also sub-par, though the P2P chat is nice.

The site’s focus on casual games and instant-win specialties is quite impressive, mirroring the versatility of Stake.us for players who want to explore Crash, scratch cards, fishing games, and Plinko. However, it’s not the best choice for live gamers, baccarat enthusiasts, or poker players.

Again, CapySpin hasn’t launched officially, and some of the biggest issues I found here will likely change in the near future. For now, I’d suggest holding off on purchases and taking advantage of the many free promotions offered to you. It’s also not worth using the mobile site, in my view.

Beyond the 10 free CC available to you on sign-up, Lucky Wheel spins, progressive rewards, and daily tasks don’t cost you anything out of pocket. They kept my coin balance full all week long, promising plenty of fun and building my anticipation for when prizes become available.
