GoldieCity Sweepstakes Casino Review
GoldieCity looks like a halfway decent sweepstakes casino at first glance, but taking a closer look at the site’s legal documentation reveals something entirely different. I wouldn’t suggest playing here because the T&C’s are written as if they were to cover an offshore casino site.
It’s really a shame because I liked playing some of the games here, but when I came across more than a handful of titles from none other than Pragmatic, I knew the casino wasn’t allowed to operate in the United States.
Needless to say, I declined to complete KYC because I didn’t trust GoldieCity enough to hand over my personal details. I’m covering the site’s promotions, game library, and customer support while suggesting more reputable sweepstakes casino alternatives.
Pros
- 1,155+ games from a variety of established providers, including IGT, Microgaming, and SG Digital
- Claim 1,000 GC and 5 free SC after finishing KYC verification
- Faucet bonus provides extra GC when you’re at zero
- For what it’s worth, RSG tools are fairly strong
- Get 15 free SC for each friend you invite
- Spin the daily wheel for GC/SC bonuses
Cons
- T&C’s are written for an offshore online casino
- I wouldn’t trust my personal information here
- No restricted states are listed in the T&C’s
- SC bonuses come with a 50x playthrough
- Telegram chat is nonexistent, and the phone line is broken
The only reason I’d encourage signing up here is to play some of the games for fun. It was entertaining to check out some of Microgaming and IGT’s hottest titles. But, when it comes to revealing your personal info or making purchases, it’s a strict no-go in my book. Treat GoldieCity as a demo casino only.
Legal States
GoldieCity’s first major flaw, and one of the details that alerted me to the fact that it’s not a legit sweepstakes casino, is that it doesn’t list any illegal states. I was able to sign up from New York, which banned sweepstakes operations back in June of 2025.
One Reddit thread on r/TheSweepsHub claims that the “illegal states” are California, Connecticut, Montana, New Jersey, Washington, Idaho, Michigan, and Illinois, but since the T&Cs ban all U.S. players from accessing the site’s games (not true in practice), that claim means next to nothing.
How GoldieCity Social Casino Works
GoldieCity positions itself as a traditional sweepstakes casino, even going so far as to advertise GC and SC welcome bonuses in line with the rest of the industry. For example, you’ll get 1,000 GC and 5 free SC if you sign up and complete KYC verification (I don’t recommend doing this).
When I read the T&C’s, Section 2.1 openly states that “[playing] real money games at GoldieCity Casino” requires you to make a new account. It also reserves the right to charge inactivity fees of 5 USD, 5 EUR, INR 500, NZD 5, or AUD 5 if you haven’t used your account for six months.
Sweepstakes casinos, by nature, do not accept real money wagers. GoldieCity does not comply with federal/state laws in any capacity. Instead, it flies in the face of FTC regulations by openly mentioning banned terms like deposits, withdrawals, and even international player bodies.
While it’s made to look much like a sweepstakes casino, it’s abundantly clear that GoldieCity is an offshore Curacao casino that holds little regard for player safety or government regulations.
GoldieCity Bonuses
As mentioned, I declined to complete KYC verification, so I didn’t get the 1,000 GC + 5 free SC bonus offered on sign-up. I couldn’t spin the daily login wheel because I didn’t feel comfortable entering my personal information, either.
Because my balance was zeroed out when I created a new account, I got curious and clicked the “Faucet” tab on the left side of the page. I only got 100 GC, but you might receive free SC if you’re lucky.
Again, this is a free bonus that doesn’t require any personal info, so I had no trouble claiming it. The site’s first purchase discount gives you a 100% match up to $50, so long as you spend $10 or more upfront. There’s also a second purchase bonus that gives you a 50% match up to $30.
Bonuses Review
| No Deposit Bonus | 1,000 GC + 5 free SC |
| Promo Code | No promo code needed |
| First Purchase Bonus | 100% match up to $50 |
| Daily Free Credits | Spin the daily wheel for mystery GC/SC bonuses |
| VIP Program | Yes |
| Mail-in Bonus | Not offered |
| Referral Bonus | 10 GC + 15 SC when your friend signs up and spends at least $15 |
GoldieCity has quite a few promotions for existing players, but they’re almost not worth claiming because of the site’s overarching 50x playthrough requirement.
In a world where GoldieCity wasn’t an offshore operator posing as a sweepstakes casino, the “regular purchase bonus” of 10% on all GC bundles worth up to $50 would be a good one. Alas, this isn’t the case.
The site’s referral bonus is the only fair promo I came across, since your friend only has to make $15 in purchases before you receive 10 GC and 15 free SC for their efforts. As expected, I didn’t find any information about mail-in bonuses or social media giveaways during my GoldieCity review.
Interestingly enough, GoldieCity has a VIP program. It promises 1-5% in coinback and level-up bonuses reaching 20 SC, but the overall play requirements are ludicrous. In order to reach the “Pinnacle” tier and max out your benefits, you’d have to purchase and play 4,000 worth of SC.
You’d also get just 20 Sweeps Coins for your time, which doesn’t feel worth it in the slightest.

GoldieCity Casino-Style Games
Surprisingly, GoldieCity’s game library is the best thing about this casino. It features 1,140 slots, four virtual tables, and 11 bingo/keno titles from 15+ software providers. While Booming Games and JILI are common to find at competing sites, Wazdan, IGT, and Microgaming certainly aren’t.
Unfortunately, seeing more than a few games from Pragmatic Play let me know that something was up with the brand. As fun as it is to play Buffalo King Megaways (after all, it’s in my top pick section), Pragmatic stopped working with US sweepstakes casinos in September 2025.

The slot selection at GoldieCity is diverse, spanning titles like Ultimate Fire Link Rue Royale and brick-and-mortar themed slots like Puff & Puff in one fell swoop.
Acewins’s Puff & Puff borrows inspiration from the Huff & Puff series, providing a solid answer to what happens after the Big, Bad Wolf blows the three little pigs’ houses down. Beyond offering a Lucky Wheel that activates with three bulldozer symbols, it features four jackpots with maximum prizes reaching up to 2,000x your bets. A spin on the Wheel could unlock potentially huge wins.
While I don’t like how the game is formatted for mobile devices, I had fun playing it nonetheless.
Themed collections, like “Mystic Beasts,” “Egyptian vs. Aztec,” “JOKER,” and “Firelink VIP,” offer everything from animal-themed action to Mega Jackpots that can hit 2,000 SC on a good day. If you’re wondering, these collections become visible when you click “Category” in the side menu.
I took special interest in the “Mystic Beasts” collection because dragons happen to be one of my favorite animals. Triple Dragons features a traditional Zen soundtrack, captivating graphics, and three separate bonus wheels that can land on 10x GC/SC prizes and even jackpot sums.
Lastly, I dove into QuickHit slots to enjoy old-school thrills. SG Digital’s QuickHit Ultra Pays felt like a true replica of brick-and-mortar mastery. Each spin can reveal more symbols, a larger number of reels, or bonus games with up to 20 free stabs at the 5 – 9 QuickHit jackpot prizes.
Table games are admittedly in short supply at GoldieCity, but you can enjoy classic blackjack, American Poker, Texas Hold ‘Em Plus, and Jacks or Better video poker from Amanet. I think they can do a bit better with the graphics, but these titles get the job done for casual players.
Texas Hold ‘Em Plus feels much more modern. An illustration of the Lone Star State depicted in red, white, and blue is a nice visual touch, and betting minimums start from 0.1 GC to allow for hours of bona-fide gameplay on a single 100 GC Faucet bonus.
If you’re looking for something beyond classic slots and tables, keno and bingo make for a good change of pace. Extra Bingo from Wazdan doesn’t rely on classic bingo tickets, instead taking a lottery-centric approach to deliver random wins funneled from the wheel up top.
I’m a fan of the auto-play option, which lets you play 10 – 1,000 games straight through.
Amanet’s Bingo is much the same, with a number grid from 1 – 80. In both games, you can pick up to 10 spots. The only difference is that Extra Bingo’s top multiplier maxes out at 2,000x, while Bingo’s biggest multiplier reaches up to 15,000x your bet size.
Zitro Digital’s La Calaca Bingo is the only game here that actually resembles bingo. You get four tickets, and the grids fill up on their own. This makes for incredibly fast-paced action, and using the auto-play feature lets you kick back and relax as you watch it all unfold.
Opening any of GoldieCity’s Originals reveals a prompt to log in with a username and password. I was able to get in using the credentials I made during sign-up. You can only play the Originals if you’re using SC, which is a real bummer.
Regardless, I opened Orion Stars and was greeted by another 100 or so slot games. The only issue is that nobody knows where these titles come from or whether they’re tested for fairness.

GoldieCity Banking
It’s possible to buy GC with your debit/credit card, GPay, Apple Pay, an instant bank transfer, or Cash App. I like the variety of payment methods available here, but if I were to buy anything, I’d use Cash App or Apple Pay to avoid sharing my personal card information with the platform.
Even though redemption methods aren’t listed on the site, I contacted Facebook support and was told you can redeem a minimum of 50 SC using Cash App only. Unfortunately, the 50x playthrough on your SC makes that task feel all but possible.

Payments at GoldieCity are handled through CentryOS, a decentralized financial processor. Before you can make a purchase, you have to enter your full name and provide an email or phone number for verification purposes.
After this point, you can enter your card information, use Apple Pay/GPay, or pay for your coins with Cash App. The process is simple, but I still don’t feel very strongly about the site’s ability to securely handle personal/financial information.
Payments are addressed to “Khutruke Global,” which is a company not mentioned in the site’s original Terms and Conditions.
| Cost | Gold Coins (GC) | Sweeps Coins (SC) |
|---|---|---|
| $9.99 | 50 | 10 |
| $14.99 | 15 | 15 |
| $19.99 | 20 | 20 |

| $29.99 | 30 | 30 |
| $39.99 | 25 | 40 |
| $49.99 | 30 | 50 |
GoldieCity’s $10 purchase minimum doesn’t feel very accessible, but at the very least, you’re getting 1 SC per dollar spent on Gold Coins. Aside from that, I’m not sure why you can get 50 GC for $10, but only 30 GC when you spend $49.99.
This shows that the casino isn’t even trying to make their GC packages look believable, instead inviting players to make purchases exclusively for the “free” SC. On the bright side, the pricing jumps are surprisingly moderate, and there are no large gaps in affordability between bundles.

Is GoldieCity Casino Legit?
I’m sorry to deliver this news to the SweepsKings audience, but GoldieCity is not a legitimate sweeps casino. It got added to our blacklist based on many of the issues I’ve pointed out, including T&C’s that don’t match up with a regular sweeps casino and super-high playthroughs.
Oddly enough, the T&Cs date back to 2023, even though the casino opened in 2026. Restricted US states are nowhere to be found, and Section 12.4 of the T&C requires all players to “declare that they are not residents of the United States and its dependencies.”
RTP rates are not listed when you play games, and I’d be willing to wager that most of the titles here are rigged. That’s why I’ve been encouraging players to only use Gold Coins and save the money they might want to spend on GC purchases for another, more reputable platform.

For what looks to be a scam site, GoldieCity’s responsible gaming tools are well-documented.
You can get in touch with support to set purchase (deposit) limits, wager limits, loss limits, or daily session limits. I also found that you can take a short break from gameplay or request a long-term self-exclusion.
Here’s where it falls apart. The RSG policy is supposed to link to a self-assessment, but when you open the link, it redirects to a page called “Understanding Your Gambling” from GamCare.
There is also an entire section on European banking efforts to offer gambling blocks, which has nothing to do with its supposed US-facing sweepstakes casino status.

GoldieCity Customer Support
Customer support, although flawed, is decent for getting basic information about the site. I was able to find more information about the site’s redemption minimums by going through Facebook Messenger, which is the casino’s official substitute for live chat (alongside Instagram/Telegram).
Unfortunately, when I called the number listed on the website footer, I got a message saying it doesn’t currently accept calls. Email support is similarly useless, since the person who replied told me to get in touch on Facebook Messenger instead.
Last but not least, I submitted a support ticket and got a reply around four hours later. Replies were quick across the board, but with so many errors jumping out at me, it was difficult to figure out where to get in touch.

GoldieCity Casino UX
I appreciate how fast I was able to sign up for GoldieCity’s website. Entering my email address, creating a new password, and completing my profile took me all of three minutes. While I didn’t complete KYC for personal safety reasons, I did claim a Faucet bonus right after registering. This was enough to get me started on a handful of the games right away.
Aside from a few spelling errors in the lobby and Promotions section of the website, GoldieCity’s user interface looks much like any other sweepstakes casino I’ve tested in recent months. Still, the menu text is small and difficult to read on both desktop and mobile. You can always zoom in to save your sight, but you won’t be able to see the full view of what’s available.
I was able to switch between GC and SC using the toggle at the top, and I opened my Profile by clicking the upper-right avatar. The basic search bar beneath the “Live Winners” tab let me look for games by name. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a way to filter the games by software provider.
Themed slot collections make themselves available as you scroll down the homepage, and you can find an abbreviated list (plus the number of games in each one) by opening the side menu and clicking “Category.” This is also where you’ll notice the Daily Wheel, live chat, and Faucet.
I noticed that hovering my cursor over any game icon allowed me to bookmark certain titles by clicking the miniature heart in the upper-left corner. This brought titles to my “Favourites” folder, which, for some reason, is only accessible via the side menu.
There isn’t much to it, and you shouldn’t have any trouble finding your way around the GoldieCity website.

UX Assessment
GoldieCity Sister Sites
GoldieCity is owned by tgt Group Ltd and licensed by HNA Gaming B.V, a company registered by the Government of Curaçao. It has one sister site, UptownSweeps, that faces similar issues with its Terms & Conditions and overall compliance with national sweepstakes laws.
Both sites are competing against some of the biggest names in the sweepstakes industry, which I’ll cover below:
Comparison
| Sites Like GoldieCity | Games | Welcome Bonus | Apps | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GoldieCity | 1,150+ | 1,000 GC + 5 SC | N/A | Not recommended |
| UptownSweeps | 700+ | 700,000 GC + 7 SC | N/A | Not recommended |
| FreeSpin | 1,000+ | 200,000 GC + 20 Free Spins | N/A | Customer support |
| Fortune Wins | 2,000+ | 3M GC + 3000 FC + 20 free spins | iOS/Android | Daily bonus offer |
| ThrillCoins | 3,000+ | 50,000 GC + 1 SC | N/A | Overall game variety |
How It Stacks Up
GoldieCity doesn’t have much of a leg to stand on, especially regarding the incredulous 50x SC playthrough requirement imposed on new users. Even its sister site, UptownSweeps, states that bonus SC needs to be spent “at least once” before you can redeem prizes.
This is a far cry from imposing a 50x wagering stipulation on your bonus coins. Even though this site has just 700 games as opposed to the 1,155+ titles at GoldieCity, I’d pick UptownSweeps if I had to choose one or the other. It’s also a better choice for ongoing Facebook promotions.
Still, established casinos like FreeSpin (and even newer sites like Fortune Wins and ThrillCoins) put tgt Group’s newly launched platforms to shame with better bonuses, more focused support, a larger library of games to choose from, and more rewarding daily offers with lower wagering requirements on your bonus SC.
Our Experts Verdict
GoldieCity is not the site you want to use, especially in a flourishing sweepstakes environment with so many better alternatives. I wouldn’t trust my personal information with the company at all, and the T&C’s scream that something is deeply wrong with this platform’s business model.
While it’s worth signing up if you just want to check out some of the games on the website, it’s not a good idea to complete KYC or make any purchases. If you’re interested in checking out some long-forgotten titles from Pragmatic and Microgaming, claim the Faucet bonus to play.
It’s the only way you can ensure your safety while still having some fun on the side. If you want to play on a real-deal sweepstakes platform, I’d sooner recommend joining FreeSpin. It offers a similar range of titles to GoldieCity while promising working phone support/reliable redemptions.
