However, it’s gotten off to a great start by working with reputable providers, sending monthly newsletters to its players about upcoming promotions/games, and offering fantastic purchase discounts for newbies.

When I signed up, I got 150,000 GC and 2 free SC. I then took advantage of the site’s 200% welcome bonus, which boosts its $4.99 package to deliver 375,000 GC and 15 free SC.

However, virtual table games, specialties, and live games are non-existent. This contributes to a one-dimensional selection, in my experience.

I’m a fan of the site’s banking options, and it’s great to see that Apple Pay is available on both desktop and mobile. This isn’t usually the case. Still, I wish Splash Coins offered lower prize redemption minimums. As of right now, you have to win 100 SC ($100) to request a cash prize.

Redemptions are processed exclusively through Skrill, Push-to-Card, or ACH bank transfer. I didn’t have to pay any fees before getting what I was owed.

Payment Options Review

When I first signed up, I noticed a purchase option for $1.99, but it only came with Gold Coins. After making my first purchase to claim the 200% discount, the purchase minimum changed to $4.99 for GC only. You have to spend $9.99 or more to claim free SC with your second purchase onwards.

At maximum, you can spend up to $999.99, making Splash Coins a great spot for high rollers.

Redemptions are normally processed in 2 – 3 days, but Skrill redemptions took under 24 hours to reach my e-wallet balance. Unfortunately, the 100 SC minimum applies to all redemptions across the board. I’d love to see gift card prizes starting from 10 SC in the future.

Florida players are restricted to redeeming 5,000 SC for any prize won on the site, while other players can redeem a maximum of 9,999 SC per day until the full prize is paid out. I completed KYC by opening “Profile,” clicking “Verification” and uploading my ID alongside proof of address.

Even though Splash Coins is new on the scene, it appears to be entirely legitimate through my personal experience. Splash Coins offers free, 24/7 live chat and email support. There’s no need to buy coins before speaking with a person in real-time, putting the site ahead of competitors like Mega Bonanza or Hello Millions. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get responses from the team on Facebook or Insta.

My experience with chat support was nothing but pleasant, and someone answered my inquiries about redemption methods in just under 30 seconds. Replies take a bit longer outside business hours, but this is to be expected.

I also noticed email and ticket replies within 6 to 12 hours. This is on the faster end of industry standards. I’d like to see Splash Coins implement phone support going forward, but this is my only real complaint.

Splash Coins has a simple registration process. After entering my email and creating a new password, I verified my email to collect 150,000 GC + 2 free SC straightaway. It took me 60 seconds from start to finish.

KYC verification was similarly easy, but I had to wait 24 hours for someone to confirm my ID and proof of address. Moving onto the user experience, the interface is easy to navigate. Daily offers are located under “Rewards,” and other bonuses (Tournaments) are visible under “Promotions.”

I was able to access daily deals and pop-up events by clicking the icons at the top of the page. Because I tested the website during Easter, I noticed a cute bunny holding a basket of GC/SC. This kind of attention to detail adds a bit of personal flair to the user experience.

Exclusive games, new games, popular titles, and titles from M2Play/Peter & Sons are carefully organized in the lobby. Clicking “See All” reveals all the games in each category, and hovering my cursor over particular game icons showed me the software providers responsible for them.

There’s really not much to the desktop interface, but simplicity is best. I would like to see a way to switch between dark/light themes, and the inclusion of a bottom-row menu on mobile would make one-handed navigation a lot easier.

As it stands, the mobile UI looks exactly like the desktop interface, but downsized. Opening the side menu brings you right to your account details, the Splash Rewards Club, the Help Center, and live chat support.

There are only a few critiques I have about the UX, namely that it’s impossible to close the live chat page with a drop-down arrow once you’ve opened it. The back button is also broken when you attempt to access the GC Store, so you’ll need to use your browser’s back button instead.

How It Stacks Up

Splash Coins stands out from other sweepstakes casinos by offering super-powered deals and discounts on Gold Coin packages. It’s rare to find regular boosts on packages priced as low as $11.99 all the way up to $999.99. If you plan on buying GC regularly, it doesn’t get any better than Splash Coins.

However, the site falls flat in terms of game variety. It has 375 slots to choose from, whereas Kirgo.us lists 1,400 games ranging from slots and specialties to live tables. Gold Ahoy and Baba Casino have even fewer games than Splash Coins, but Gold Ahoy lists arcade games in addition to slots. Baba Casino delves deeper into big prizes with around 100 jackpot titles.

It’s also worth noting that you can get up to 1.5 SC in daily bonuses at Baba Casino, whereas your bonus at Splash Coins starts from 0.25 SC and goes up based on your VIP level. Wandando is a newer site than Splash Coins, but there is a consistent 1x playthrough on SC. At Splash Coins, it’s possible that you may have to satisfy higher rollover requirements before redeeming prizes, though this wasn’t my experience.

Most of Splash Coins’ competitors have an instant-play mobile app, but downloadable versions aren’t available yet except for Gold Rush City, which is another SweepX social casino.

Our Experts Verdict

Despite being live for just about a year, Splash Coins makes a huge splash in the sweepstakes industry with non-stop daily deals and hefty first purchase bonuses. The potential for higher SC playthroughs isn’t great, but that’s the trade-off for getting more than 1 SC per dollar spent whenever you buy Gold Coins.

Game variety isn’t where it needs to be, but with monthly newsletters outlining new titles and promos, we’re confident that Splash Coins may decide to bolster its collection with virtual tables or live games in the future. For now, tournaments and giveaways add a bit of flair to the site’s otherwise one-dimensional collection.

Customer support is excellent and free to use – I have no qualms here.  Live chat is the quickest way to get in touch with someone.

My only “must-fix” complaint about the site is its 100 SC redemption minimum, which feels very high compared to the 10 SC minimum for gift cards at many other sites.
