ClubWPT Gold Review

ClubWPT Gold is a unique sweepstakes poker site that serves as an alternative to ClubWPT, a well-known platform that offers free multi-table tournaments, Sit & Go’s, and ring games for fans of No Limit Hold ‘Em and Pot Limit Omaha.

It opened shop in early 2025, and it’s been (mostly) smooth sailing for the brand ever since. The website specializes in a wide range of live poker rooms. I found freerolls, PKO/Bounty tourneys, Freezeout games, and Mystery Bounty tables with a 64/36 split for the first and second-placers.

There are limited promotions available for new players, but opting into a Gold Membership for $99 per month gets you 105 bonus chips, access to pre-flop charts, and 500+ hours of training from three-time WSOP bracelet winner Doug Polk for poker enthusiasts.

Unfortunately, customer support is subpar at ClubWPT Gold. There’s no option for chat service, and social media service is non-existent. If you want to get in touch with someone, you’re limited to sending a ticket or email.

I’m documenting my experience with ClubWPT Gold, commenting on its biggest selling points, and discussing areas that need to be fixed in this review.

Legal States

You have to be at least 18 years of age to use ClubWPT Gold. It doesn’t accept players from the following states: Connecticut, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, New Jersey, and Washington.

How ClubWPT Gold Work

ClubWPT Gold operates on a traditional sweepstakes model, bringing the thrills offered by its sister site ClubWPT to a brand-new audience with no subscription required to play.

The “Gold” variant appears to be rooted in proper legal standing, as evidenced by its pushback against changing sweepstakes regulations in several states. Instead of using real money to play and win, you’ll use Chips (closest to SC).

There’s no way to spend your Hand Analyses on games, but you can use them once you’ve played enough games for the algorithm to generate a summary of your play and offer tips for improvement. This is visible under the “Hand Analysis” tab. In the meantime, you’ll spend your Chips on active poker games and compete against other players to collect a lion’s share of the prize pool.

You’re never required to make purchases, but you can buy Hand Analyses to collect free Chips in the process. Your Chips have to be spent at least once before you can redeem them for cash prizes, which is typical of the 1x playthrough requirements typically imposed by sweeps casinos.

Finally, you have to win at least 20 Chips ($20) before you can request a prize redemption.

ClubWPT Gold Bonuses

ClubWPT Gold offers 5 Hand Analyses and 2 free Chips when you sign up and verify your phone with the platform. While there are no traditional daily login rewards, you can participate in Daily Freerolls that award up to 750 Chips with a top prize of 100 Chips for the ultimate winner.

Some of the most notable events here include ClubWPT Gold’s 33 Chip Daily Mystery Bounty, which features a guaranteed prize pool of 110,000 Chips. There’s also the 110 Chip Bounty for players who can’t make the 33 Chip tourney at 5 PM (PT).

There’s no VIP program available at ClubWPT Gold, which is only slightly offset by the fact that it has some of the softest tables you’ll find anywhere. Finally, becoming a Gold Member for $99 a month unlocks a special discount where you receive 105 free Chips instead of the usual 100.

The promotions here are mostly limited to tournaments. I wasn’t able to find any social media giveaways or bonus codes, putting it behind Global Poker (which has a daily login reward). You can technically submit written requests for free Chips by requesting postal codes from the site.

ClubWPT Gold Casino-Style Games

ClubWPT Gold offers No Limit Hold ‘Em and Pot Limit Omaha games with micro, low, mid, and high stakes across plenty of verticals. I had fun joining live poker rooms to fill the final seat, and navigating the site’s range of tournaments was even more exciting.

Still, there are no slots or traditional casino games to mention. ClubWPT Gold focuses entirely on live poker and tournaments.

You can use Trustly Online Banking, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or your debit/credit card to buy Hand Analyses and get free chips. ClubWPT Gold processes purchases using PayNearMe, a trusted third-party payment provider that guarantees your full security when spending money.

The banking menu here is on par with what’s available at Global Poker and competing sites. I’m glad to see Google Pay compatibility in addition to Apple Pay, since this is relatively uncommon.

You must win at least 20 Chips ($20) to request a withdrawal via bank transfer or debit card. It takes 3 – 7 days for redemptions to appear in your bank, regardless of the option you choose. You’re limited to redeeming a max of $2,500 per day, $4,000 per week, or $6,000 per month.

Payment Options Review

Even though ClubWPT Gold’s purchase minimum is exceedingly high, all packages come with free Chips. Players with at least $495 to spend will get 500 Chips for free, and built-in discounts get you up to 25 extra Chips when buying the most expensive package available.

You have to slide the blue button to the right if you want to see ClubWPT Gold’s full range of packages. Prices range from $20 – $2,475 for single purchases. I had to verify my email before unlocking a $2,500 daily purchase limit, and you can submit a ticket request to increase yours.

Unfortunately, there’s no first-purchase bonus here, unlike at competing poker platforms. You can see exactly how many Chips you have left by checking the top of the screen.

Is ClubWPT Gold Legit?

Yes, ClubWPT Gold is an entirely legitimate sweepstakes platform. Although it launched in the early portion of 2025, it lists transparent information about its parent company and it’s backed by the reputable World Poker Tour (WPT) brand.

Because ClubWPT Gold technically operates under sweepstakes rules, it doesn’t require a real license. It maintains compliance with FTC regulations by enabling players to submit handwritten requests in exchange for free Chips, as is the standard for all sweepstakes casinos nowadays.

In order to maintain fairness in the midst of real-time competition, ClubWPT Gold employs 24/7 bot detection using tools from A5 Labs. It also has an official RNG certification from eCOGRA, a third-party lab. RNG certification ensures that all your cards are shuffled and dealt out randomly.

ClubWPT Gold works exclusively with Persona to perform KYC verification. I was asked to submit a photo of my ID and take a selfie, after which point I was able to buy credit packages and redeem prizes. Finally, the brand relies on bank-level encryption to keep your cash safe.

ClubWPT Gold doesn’t offer many ways to get in touch with its team. I was limited to sending an email, submitting a ticket, or browsing the Help Center for answers. Unlike other sweeps casino sites, there’s no live chat or phone support option here.

I also tried reaching out via Instagram, but I didn’t get a response from anyone. Email replies take 12 – 24 hours in my experience, and the agents were helpful as I changed my address. I also reached out to set purchase limits on my account, and I was happy with the experience.

ClubWPT Gold benefits from an easy registration/verification process, meticulous organization, and relatively quick loading speeds. I’m a fan of the darker interface, but I wish there was a way to switch between Light/Dark themes in a similar vein to Pulsz/Pulsz Bingo.

Whether you use the desktop website or install the desktop app, you’ll be able to sort for games according to your preferred stakes, seat availability, poker type, and tournament category. Using the checkmarks at the top of the screen allows you to customize the poker tables in front of you.

Compared to the desktop site, the desktop app is slightly smoother. It also unlocks the ability to play four tables at once. If you’re using the website, you can only play one poker table at a time.

Each poker room listing shows the blind size and number of players occupying it at first glance. The only option that’s missing is a way to sort by prize pool, which is somewhat solved because high-stakes games list bigger prizes than low-stakes games anyway.

I’d encourage mobile poker players to bookmark the instant-play web app using Safari/Chrome. All you have to do is select “Share” and “Add to Home Screen.” In return, you’ll save on screen space and enjoy significantly faster game loading speeds than the mobile website can offer.

How It Stacks Up

ClubWPT Gold isn’t alone in its endeavors to make sweepstakes poker feel more accessible, but it’s still the best option for players in search of high-limit tournaments and affordable poker satellites. Global Poker has similarly profitable events, but far less availability across the U.S.

However, it falls behind Global Poker and ClubGG Poker because there’s no way to create your own rooms at WPT Gold. I would also argue that ClubWPT Gold can afford to be far more generous with its bonuses, as Global Poker and Clubs Poker both give users daily login rewards for free.

Stake Poker is a subset of Stake.us Casino, but it recently launched an iOS app specifically for poker players. ClubGG also stands out in this regard with downloadable apps for Windows, iOS, and Android. By comparison, ClubWPT Gold only has a desktop app for multi-table play.

In a similar vein to Stake.us, WOW Vegas focuses on providing a plethora of classic games and video poker options.

Our Experts Verdict

Even in the face of competition, ClubWPT Gold stands out as one of the most accessible poker sweepstakes sites going. You can sign up and start playing from 40+ U.S. states with 2 free Chips.

It’s also an excellent option for micro-stakes players, freeroll connoisseurs, and jackpot hunters ready to spend big bucks on tournaments. Buy-ins range from 1 to 10,000 Chips per hand, and satellites feed skilled players into progressively more profitable events.

Beyond its range of live poker rooms and tournaments for PLO and NLHE enthusiasts, it’s easy to sign up, get KYC-verified, and start playing in just a few minutes. I also like that WPT Gold is RNG-certified by eCOGRA, as this isn’t necessarily required for sweepstakes poker platforms.

Still, it falls flat in terms of customer support and it won’t appeal to players looking for a mixed casino and poker gaming experience.
