How Elevyn Social Casino Works

Elevyn offers two different virtual currencies.

The Gold Coins currency is the Standard Play currency. This currency can be awarded through free bonuses and can be bought in Gold Coins packages. However, Gold Coins can never be redeemed for a real prize — therefore, when playing with them, it’s strictly for fun.

With the Sweeps Coins currency though, you can engage in Promotional Play. Gameplay works exactly the same in Promotional Play — but the big difference is, Sweeps Coins won through Promotional Play are eligible to be redeemed for a prize so long as you have a redeemable balance of at least 100 SC. Sweeps Coins can be earned through free bonuses and via the AMOE. They cannot be purchased directly — although they can be rewarded to you as a free bonus when purchasing Gold Coins packages at Elevyn.

The no deposit bonus of Elevyn is worth 1,000 GC + 1 SC. To claim it, just sign up and confirm your email and mobile number. Once claimed, you’ll then be able to move onto the second part of the welcome package — which is the first purchase bonus of 39.99 SC + 39.99k GC for $29.99. But these are just the start of the bonuses at Elevyn Casino.

Still being quite a new sweepstakes casino, Elevy doesn’t quite have the variety of bonuses that you might find at other sites. But they do still have some pretty good ones.

Having a friend sign up through your referral link can earn you 50,000 GC + 5 SC.

Plus, by simply logging in once a day, you can claim the Elevyn daily login bonus. This bonus gets bigger for claiming it on consecutive days — and if you log in enough, you may find yourself awarded with 5 SC.

Other bonuses that you’ll find include a VIP rewards program that gives you more the higher you tier up, occasional social media contests, and their AMOE. And while not something that I personally claim too often, Elevyn does offer one of the best AMOEs. With roughly 450 titles available, Elevyn has opted for a relatively small library. What’s even more interesting though, is that despite the relatively small number of games, Elevyn has one of the most expansive libraries when it comes to gaming categories. It might sound weird. But with ~90 slots, about 80% of the games available are non-slot titles. This means there’s blackjack, roulette, baccarat, poker, fishing games, scratchcards, and really just so much more on offer.

And just like they’ve been careful handpicking which titles to offer, they’ve also been careful in deciding which companies they work with. As besides their in-house games, the only providers available at Elevyn are ICONIC21, Mancala, KA Gaming, Betsoft, Playson, Slotmill, and JILI. It’s an unusually small selection. However, personally, I think they’ve absolutely nailed it.

I’m really impressed with how good the categorization is with Elevyn. And what’s more, these games for the most part are super solid. They’re fun, they’re high-RTP, plus, all games are unlocked from the start and are available for play with both Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins.

Currently, Elevyn offers two main banking methods. For purchasing Gold Coins packages, you can use your card or pay via a bank transfer. Meanwhile when redeeming won Sweeps Coins for a prize, you’ll only be able to send your funds to a bank account.

To purchase coins, you’ll want to head to the shop where you’ll be offered a variety of Gold Coins packages. One thing to keep in mind though, is that if you haven’t already, you’ll need to complete the first step of KYC verification before you purchase any packages. This verification is very simple, and you’ll just need to provide some information and verify your mobile number.

Once verified, simply choose how you wish to pay, enter in the relevant payment information, and confirm your purchase. Your coins will then be credited to your account within seconds.

For redemptions, you’ll need to complete the second part of the KYC verification process and have a redeemable balance of at least 100 SC.

Once you’ve met those two requirements, simply select the redeem option, choose how many coins you wish to redeem, and then select which bank account you want your funds to be sent to.

Redemptions are capped at $10,000 per day. Though it’s important to note that while most redemptions will be processed within 2-5 days, redemptions of $1,000 are subject to additional fraud checks and may take longer to be processed.

Is Elevyn Casino Legit?

Both Elevyn and parent company MDJ Gaming LLC are still very new to the sweepstakes gaming world. As such, there just isn’t really enough information around to reliably label them as trustworthy or not.

What I can say though, is that for a new sweepstakes casino, I’m impressed. They’re complying with sweepstakes rules and performing all of the necessary verification checks to ensure that their playerbase is allowed to play with them. They’re using games developed by renowned gaming developers.

And their site seems very secure. It’s still early days of course. But so far, so good.

Elevyn offers customer support through two main channels: email and live chat. Live chat is always what I test first. Unfortunately, it’s probably the weakest of the two support methods on offer.

They claim to respond in under 3 minutes, but that wasn’t the case when I asked them a relatively simple question. And in fact, it took a little over 3 hours before I received a response. Now to give them credit, the response was thorough and answered both of my questions — though 3 hours for a live chat response just isn’t very good. This is especially true as there is no FAQ page or help center. So if you run into trouble, you’re going to be waiting for a while.

Email was also 3 hours when I tested. And again, the quality of response was high.

Elevyn Casino UX

The user interface of Elevyn is largely a tale of two stories. The site itself is fantastic. I’m a big fan of the yellow-on-black design choice — and the entire site is just so smoothly designed. There are lots of categories for games. And the whole site is just so easy to navigate through. This is true regardless of whether you play on your desktop, or on your mobile device.

However, the big criticism that I have to give is with the games. There’s something wrong with quite a few of them, as I was constantly running into loading problems or getting error messages about the games not existing.

I thought this might’ve been an issue with the gaming developers themself. But I checked on other sweepstakes casinos, and the same games that were giving me problems on Elevyn were running smoothly on other sites.

It’s a real shame, because the site itself is just so well designed. Sign up is easy. Verification is pretty fast. Navigating the site is really easy. But then when it came time to actually play the game themselves, 1 in 5 of them didn’t even work.

How It Stacks Up

I think Elevyn’s unique operating structure becomes really apparent when you compare it to other sweepstakes casinos. Both Dorados and Lucky Bunny offer 1,000s of titles. Meanwhile, WinBonanza and Deal Or No Deal Win instead go the route of offering really good bonuses.

Elevyn however doesn’t have that many games, nor are its bonuses all that good. Instead, Elevyn’s appeal is its quality of games. They’re fantastic. 96%+ RTPs are common, and all of their games are a lot of fun. Sure, they don’t really compete on quality of bonuses or sheer number of games — but, for players only wanting the very best games, Elevyn does have an appeal that few other sites can match.

Our Experts Verdict

I think Elevyn is going in a really interesting direction. They genuinely have one of the best selections of games around — which is surprising given how small their library is compared to other sweepstakes casinos. However, they still have a way to go.

High-quality games are good. Though for the time being, they’re dragged down by mediocre banking and bonuses, as well as by an annoyingly slow customer service team. As such, for me, they aren’t quite an ‘A’ sweepstakes casino. But they are definitely one to keep an eye on.
