Threelz Sweepstakes Casino Review

With an amazingly generous welcome package promising 30,000 GC + 300 SC, Threelz sweepstakes casino immediately stands out as being one of the most exciting new sweepstakes sites. However, there’s more than meets the eye here. And to save you some time, I’ll be blunt — Threelz is dysfunctional.

While I initially tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, it became blatantly clear that parent company Digital marketing LTD has done an abysmal job with this brand.

My recommendation is not to bother with this sweepstakes casino. Though in the interest of transparency, below you’ll find a full review of Threelz and see how I came to this conclusion.

To be able to register an account at Threelz, users must be 18 or older. Further, while most users from the US are allowed to play at Threelz, there are still some restrictions — and if you reside in the states of Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, Washington, Connecticut, Alabama, or Kentucky, you will not be permitted to create an account.

How Threelz Casino Works

For about a week I tried repeatedly to get an account with Threelz. Unfortunately, a load of errors and a generally dysfunctional site made this impossible — and so the below has been gathered from pages that don’t require an account to access, and their validity cannot be attested to from first-hand experience.

Like most sweepstakes casinos, Threelz works off of a dual currency system. Gold Coins are the monetarily worthless currency and are used for standard play. Where things get interesting though is with the secondary currency of SC (sometimes called FunCoins, FC, Sweeps Coins, or Starcoin). Unlike Gold Coins, SC are subject to the “No Purchase Necessary” policy of sweepstakes promotions and as such cannot be purchased directly. Instead, SC can only be obtained for free as part of bonuses like the welcome bonus, or as a free gift when Gold Coins are purchased.

However you obtain them, SC unlock a secondary optional type of play known as promotional play. Once SC have been used in promotional play, they become redeemable SC and can be exchanged for a variety of prizes, including cash prizes, so long as you meet the minimum redemption limit.

An absolutely gigantic 30,000 GC + 300 SC welcome bonus is one of the biggest bonuses I’ve ever seen at sweepstakes casinos. Unfortunately, the specifics of this bonus are a mystery. The actual no deposit bonus currently awarded appears to be a much more modest 100,000 GC + 3 SC — and even this bonus comes with some questions.

The terms & conditions of this bonus are poorly written. And the most sense I could make from it is that you’ll get rewards every day during your first 36 hours, with the best rewards being kept for the last day. Unfortunately, confusing terms & conditions are a running theme with the bonuses at Threelz. However, for ease of reading, below you’ll be able to find their most popular bonuses.

Bonuses Review

While there’s no mention of a first purchase bonus for existing players, below we’ll be going over the bonuses that they do mention and how they appear to work.

• Daily Bonus — Log in once a day to claim the daily bonus of 10,000 GC.
• 360 Lucky Bonus — The terms & conditions are confusing on this one. To claim it, “You must do the following: Log into threelz.com website every day to achieve your Daily Bonus, on top of this you will be rewarded every minimum 36 hours when you log in from the previous login with this extra bonus.” If you are able to trigger this bonus though, you’ll score yourself 360 GC + 1 SC.
• Birthday Bonus — Log into Threelz on your birthday to claim 5,000 GC and 10 free Starcoin. On other pages, SC is referred to as Sweeps Coins. But here, Starcoin is used instead for some reason.
• Special Day Bonuses — Score yourself 3,000 GC + 1 SC on special days when you log in. These special days are “Saint Patrick Day”, “Halloween”, and “1st Summer Day”.
• Mail-in Bonus — Threelz again changes the name of their premium currency with this bonus — this time calling them FunCoins. You can get yourself 3 FunCoins by sending a postcard or letter with the correct information to the address listed in their Sweeps Rules page.

Threelz Casino-Style Games

Given that I was unable to register an account with Threelz, getting information about their game library has been tricky. A mention of Sweepium in the footer would be a key partnership. As if you don’t know, Sweepium has partnerships with some of the biggest casino game developers like Pragmatic Play and Relax Gaming — and could offer Threelz 3,000+ games. However, I cannot confirm that this partnership is in place.

The extent of the library at Threelz is only available to view for registered users. But from what I can see, they seem to offer a variety of games by developers that both are and are not partnered with Sweepium.

Unfortunately though, a total of only 36 games are available to view for non-registered users. And while I can confirm that they offer both normal table games as well as live dealer games alongside their slots — I can’t say in what quantity these games are available.

Of course, if their banking is processed by Sweepium, this would be great. That’s because Sweepium sweepstakes casinos typically offer credit/debit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay banking options, as well as bank transfers. However, given the unreliability of the information found on their site, I don’t think it can be said for a fact that Threelz is indeed partnered with Sweepium.

As a result, as with so many other aspects regarding Threelz, banking is a complete mystery.

Owned and operated by Digital marketing LTD, Threelz is a ghost. Searching for them online will typically bring results of the similarly named social sportsbook Thrillzz, which has no relation to them. Similarly, searching for their parent company brings no useful results. Some other SweepsKings did key me in to a sister casino, StarsPlay, where I might be able to glean some information — however, their site hasn’t allowed me access.

I don’t know what’s going on with Threelz or Digital marketing LTD. But for the time being at least, they have appeared to shut up shop — leaving only an unusable and confusing site behind. This is important to note. As even if they were to fix their site tomorrow and be back up and running, they have shown that they are willing to hightail it without any communication to their customer base. For this reason, I’m labeling them as untrustworthy.

Customer support at Threelz is abysmal. On my first day of trying to access Threelz I sent messages via both their support form and through their email address — and I still haven’t heard back from them. I think I’ve been pretty kind in my review thus far. However, if a site doesn’t work then at the bare minimum I expect customer support to be helpful in providing updates. And the reality is that Threelz has failed to provide that.

There’s no FAQ page. Instead, the only readily available method of support is through their provided web form which is pretty bare bones — although if you dig through their terms & conditions you can also find an email.

On the surface, Threelz has a smart and simplistic design. However, it doesn’t count for much because as of writing, the site is dysfunctional. Most of the buttons work — though when it comes to trying to sign up for an account, I was met with a prompt that my username had already been taken.

After trying a bunch of different variations, I switched over to attempting to sign up through Google — but I got yet another registration error.

Eventually, I decided that perhaps I had already signed up and forgot, and so clicked on the “I forgot my password” button. Though after typing in my email and clicking the button, the page froze for a bit before sending back another error. And while I tried these processes on many other days, I was met with the same result.

Sister site StarsPlay is also down. And while I don’t know if their outage has anything to do with the issues I dealt with at Threelz, it is nevertheless interesting to note.

Mobile-wise, things appear fine. The site worked in my browser — but registration was still dysfunctional, so I’m unable to say whether or not Threelz offers any unique mobile benefits.

But with a complete lack of an online presence, an unresponsive customer service team, and a registration form that simply doesn’t work, there’s no conclusion that we can come to other than Threelz being a complete bust.
