The tumbling symbols are the main feature of Fruit Party, but there are two other bonus features that I’ll cover – the Random Multipliers and the Free Spins bonus. They’re both rewarding, so I’ll show you how they can be triggered and their winning potential.

It seems like the fruit theme never gets old when it comes to slots, and Fruit Party is another game where fruits take centre stage. It was released by Pragmatic Play in mid-2020 as a game with a 7×7 grid and extra features like scatters, free spins, and random multipliers.
The standout features of Fruit Party are the cluster pays and tumble mechanics. The latter means that after a winning spin, all the clustered symbols disappear.
The official RTP of the game is 96.47%, and the medium to high volatility keeps you on your toes, waiting for a big win to appear. I’m not the biggest fan of the music, which sounds very basic – but this is the case for the majority of Pragmatic Play games, so it was within my expectations.
You can play Fruit Party for free or for real cash prizes at most popular sweeps casinos like Stake.us and Vegas Gems. However, the Jackpot Play Fruit Party version is reserved exclusively at all McLuck sister sites, where the Grand Jackpot sits at over 100,000 SC. You will also find a demo to try Fruit Party for free at the top of my review.

About Fruit Party: Game Overview
The main theme of Fruit Party is – you guessed it – fruits. As much as I like the colorful symbols and the overall positive vibes theme, I have to admit that the graphics are not the greatest. The slot looks very simple, with a futuristic-looking background and the screen being dominated by the 7×7 grid.
Fruit Party resembles other Pragmatic Play slots that use the ‘Tumbling wins’ mechanic in terms of both gameplay and visuals. Some of them include Mining Rush and Chicken Drop, both of which utilize the same mechanic, with the only difference being the theme of the slot and the symbols.
But that’s not a bad thing by any means. The mechanic is super-easy to understand once you get the hang of it, and there’s a neat window on the right side of the screen where all the payouts are listed after each successive spin. Although the volatility is listed as high, I found Fruit Party to be somewhere between medium to high risk. Wins do appear frequently, so the volatility is nowhere near as high as in games like Gates of Olympus and 5 Lions Megaways.
There isn’t a fixed number of paylines due to the ‘cluster pays’ feature, and the 7×7 grid makes it a bit hard to follow exactly which symbols appear where. To distinguish the Fruit Party Scatter symbol from the rest, Pragmatic Play has made it slightly bigger, so you’ll always know when there are scatters on the field. The above-average RTP of 96.47% is a nice touch, and the payouts are decent.
You need 5+ matching symbols to form a winning cluster vertically or horizontally, with the lowest-paying symbol being the Heart, and the highest-paying symbol being the Strawberry.
The maximum payout for 15+ hearts is 40x, which is not too shabby for a lowest-paying symbol. The Strawberry pays out 150x for a combination of 15+ symbols, and if you hit one of the (many) random multipliers, the winnings skyrocket.
Multipliers at Fruit Party can be randomly assigned to any symbol during the base or free spins game, with x2 per symbol. However, if more than one symbol gets assigned multipliers, they will be combined up to an x256 in multipliers on top of the regular payout.
Fruit Party Slot Information
7×7 slots have become Pragmatic Play’s bread and butter. Players love them, and frankly, so do I. It’s like you’re playing a video game where you need to match same-colored balls to destroy them. There’s something very pleasing about watching the symbols disappear after forming a winning combination – and that happens very regularly while playing Fruit Party. You need 5 symbols to form a winning cluster, and that can happen on any reel and row – horizontally or vertically.
The Fruit Party base game is fun as it is, but it’s the bonus features where you can get the maximum win. The Scatter symbol, represented by the golden peach, activates the free spins feature when at least 3 golden peaches appear anywhere on the grid. There’s also a Bonus Buy feature where you can buy 10 free spins for the value of 100x your wager.
The betting range varies depending on the sweepstakes site you’re playing at, and if you’re playing with GC or SC, but it usually sits between 0.20 and 100 per spin.
Fruit Party Slot Features
Tumbling Symbols
The ‘cascading symbols’ or ‘tumbling symbols’ is more of a mechanic than a feature. It’s a part of the base game, and it’s how Fruit Party works. If a winning combination is formed, the symbols that formed the cluster are destroyed, making place for new symbols to tumble down. If the new symbols form a winning combination again, they explode too, making a place for new symbols, and so on. Hypothetically, this can go on forever or until you reach the 5,000x max win.
Random Multipliers
The Random Multiplier feature is the one you’ll come across the most at Fruit Party. As the name suggests, it’s a multiplier that triggers randomly. It can appear on any symbol as an x2 multiplier, so the entire cluster is doubled. But, if there are two or more multipliers in the same cluster, the multipliers are combined up to a maximum of 256x – even in the standard game. Without them, the Fruit Party winning combos are barely noticeable.
Free Spins
The Free Spins feature is activated when 3 or more scatter symbols, represented by the golden peach, land anywhere on the grid. You get the notification that you’ve won free spins, and the number of free spins increases depending on how many scatters you landed. For example, 7 scatters reward 14 free spins.
Then, the bonus game starts, and the reels turn blue. Every symbol during the bonus round has a chance to get a multiplier of x2 or x4, but what’s important is that the total win is calculated by multiplying every multiplier – up to a maximum of 256x multiplier. This is also the fastest way to reach the 5,000x maximum win in Fruit Party.
There’s another way to get free spins, and that’s by purchasing 10 free spins for 100x your wager. It might seem expensive, but you’ll see during my test whether it’s worth it or not.
Progressive Jackpot
Fruit Party is a part of the Jackpot Play program that’s available at several sweepstake casinos, like McLuck, PlayFame, and Hello Millions. There are 4 jackpots, Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand, and you need to play the Jackpot Play Fruit Party game to be eligible. They are progressive jackpots that reach 100k+ SC, and can be triggered randomly at any point.
Game Specs: RTP & Volatility
The theoretical RTP of Fruit Party is 96.47%, which is above the industry average of around 96%. This means that, theoretically, the game returns around 96.5 for every 100 wagered. But, during the free spins round, the RTP seems to be even higher than that.
Regarding the Fruit Party volatility, Pragmatic Play lists the game as high, but based on my test, it feels more like a medium-high volatility slot. Maybe that’s just my perception due to the cascading symbols and consecutive wins, but it doesn’t feel like a very high-volatility game, so I would put the volatility at 3.5/5.
200 Spins Test of Fruit Party
I started my Fruit Party test run with the lowest bet size, SC 0.20 per spin. I made some profit by the end of the first 10 spins, with my bankroll increasing to SC 3.20. I kept playing with the same bet size, but I got into a series of losses and small wins that didn’t account for my bet. At one point, my bankroll dropped to SC 1.43. Then, I got one lucky spin, and I won SC 1.98. Great! My bankroll reached a total of SC 3.41. But it all started going downhill from there, and I didn’t experience any significant wins until my bankroll dropped to SC 0.18, which wasn’t sufficient to continue playing the game without proceeding to a first purchase.
I switched to playing with GC and I set my wager to GC 300 per spin. I started with GC 6,600 in my bankroll.
As I was playing through the Fruit Party standard mode, I thought I’d run out of coins again. But, to my surprise, all it took was one spin to turn my luck around. I won over GC 10,000 when I landed 12 strawberries and other lower-paying symbols.
This was around the 150th spin, and I kept grinding. However, by the 180th spin, my Gold Coin balance went to ruins as well. I really wanted to see how the free spins feature works in practice, so I turned on a demo version.
I kept playing until I hit scatters, and it was by the 88th spin that the feature finally activated. The free spins were rolling automatically, and I managed to win 287.50 during the Fruit Party bonus round.
Our Experts Verdict and Ratings
The fruit theme has been used in dozens of slots, so I can’t say that I was expecting something very innovative in that department. However, where Fruit Party does shine are the gaming mechanics.
Despite being around for some time now, the tumbling symbols mechanic still feels as fresh as ever. Fruit Party is genuinely fun to play, and the maximum possible payout of 5,000x makes it even more interesting. The two features – the random multipliers and free spins – don’t occur very often, but they are a game-changer and make Fruit Party worth trying out.
Some of the downsides include the overall theme and animations, as well as the soundtrack – which I turned off after 3 minutes of gameplay. Another possible downside is the relatively high minimum bet, which starts at 0.20 and can drain your casino balance pretty quickly.
Fruit Party | Rankings | Our Thoughts |
---|---|---|
Theme | 50% | The fruit theme has been so overused that it gets boring. The unenthusiastic music doesn’t help either. |
Gameplay | 80% | The gameplay is fantastic, and the tumbling symbols mechanic keeps it interesting. The only downside is the higher-than-usual betting range. |
Metrics | 80% | The RTP of 96.47% is above average, and the volatility is medium to high. The max win of 5,000x is satisfactory, but nothing out of the ordinary. |
Bonus Features | 80% | The bonus features are not very innovative, but they’re fun and rewarding. |
Mobile Compatibility | 90% | The game works extremely well on any browser, be it mobile or desktop. The only letdown are the dated graphics. |
