About Le Pharaoh: Game Overview
Smokey the raccoon is back on the prowl in Le Pharaoh. Following his success in Le Bandit, he’s moved away from the backstreets of France, and has set his eyes on claiming the treasures of Egypt.
Egyptian themes are no stranger to slot games. However, it’s more than just aesthetic changes that make it differ from both other Egyptian-themed slot games, as well as from its predecessor Le Bandit.
Sticky Re-Drops are in effect. And while we’ll go into more detail about exactly how this feature works later on, in a nutshell, it gives you free respins whenever you land a winning combination. Given that Le Pharaoh is a medium volatility game, it’s pretty easy to trigger this feature. Add into this a high and flexible RTP, and not only do wins and bonus features come into play regularly — but when they do, they often can lead to sizable wins.
On top of this, players of Le Bandit will be happy to know that the rainbow symbol returns in Le Pharaoh along with the instant wins that it brings.

Le Pharaoh Slot Information
Le Pharaoh is played on a 6×5 grid with six reels and five rows. 19 paylines are in effect, with each symbol needing to line up in three consecutive reels starting with the leftmost reel across one of these paylines in order to pay out.
Wild symbols are available — substituting for any needed symbol in a payline. Additionally, whenever you score a win, you’ll get a free respin to attempt to extend the payline, or score a different win via a new payline, with respins continuing to be awarded so long as you keep adding additional symbols.
When playing with Sweeps Coins, betting levels start at 0.10 SC and can be as high as 100 SC. You can change your bet level with the + & – symbols situated above and below the spin button as seen in the picture below.
Additionally, in the bottom right corner of that screen, you’ll also be able to find the autoplay button which allows you to set up basic and advanced instructions for up to 1,000 automated spins. Turbo and Super Turbo spins are also present, as in most Hacksaw Gaming slots.
There are 10 normal symbols which need to be collected on a payline to be paid out, along with a wild symbol which can substitute for any needed normal symbol.

Le Pharaoh Slot Features
Sticky Re-Drops
Sticky Re-Drops will likely be the first special feature you encounter, as it triggers on all wins. The way it works is that after scoring a win, winning symbols stay locked in place as the rest of the symbols respin. If on this respin a new winning combination is made or an existing combination is extended, those symbols will also stick, and you’ll be given an additional respin. This feature continues on until combinations are neither extended, nor created.
During Sticky Re-Drops, free spin symbols and rainbow symbols are also sticky. However, unlike normal sticky symbols, they do not create golden squares on their position. This is important to keep in mind for the next feature.
Golden Riches - Instant Prizes
In addition to being able to score wins through paylines, the Golden Riches also gives you a chance to score instant wins. The way this feature works is that after the Sticky Re-Drops feature has finished, if a rainbow has landed on the reels, all golden squares will activate and transform into one of the following symbols:
- Coins — Coins can appear in either bronze, silver, or gold form. When activated, these coins will show a value of between 2-500x your stake.
- Clovers — Clovers can appear as either green or gold clovers. Green clovers will multiply the value of other adjacent instant win symbols by x2-20, whereas gold clovers will multiply the value of all instant win symbols by x2-20.
- Pot of Gold — After the multipliers of clovers have been applied, the pot of gold symbols will activate. Pot of golds collect the value of all other symbols. After which, all collected golden squares reactivate to show a new set of instant win symbols.
Once all instant wins have been collected, their values will be added together, after which they will be multiplied by your bet level and will be awarded to you.

Luck of the Pharaoh
The Luck of the Pharaoh awards an initial 10 free spins. Although additional free spins can be won whenever two or three free spin symbols land on the reels during the bonus — awarding two or four extra free spins respectively.
During this bonus, golden squares remain on the reels between spins — even after being activated by the rainbow symbol.
Lost Treasures
During the Lost Treasures, you’re awarded an initial three free spins on reels with only the special symbols from the Golden Riches bonus being able to land, as well as dead symbols and special stone tablet symbols. Whenever a non-dead symbol lands on the reel, your free spin counter is set back to three.
The symbols from the Golden Riches all work the same and are sticky — except for the clover symbol, which will disappear from the reels after applying its multiplier.
This bonus also introduces stone tablet symbols. The adding stone tablet will add a value of x1-500 on a random coin for every spin after it lands — meanwhile, the multiplication stone tablet will multiply the value of a random coin by x2-20 for every spin.
After you run out of free spins or the grid fills up, the value of all symbols are collected before being multiplied by your bet level, and paid out.
Super Bonuses
Collecting four free spin symbols will allow you to choose between the super variant. These super bonuses work pretty similar to their standard variants — however, there are some pretty important differences which we’ll cover below.

200 Spins Test of Le Pharaoh
While I was pretty familiar with Le Bandit, I hadn’t yet tried Le Pharaoh. And so to get a good first-hand look at how the game plays, I played 200 spins with a base bet of 1 coin.
My first 100 spins were in truth, kind of uneventful. Sticky-Redrops and Golden Riches activated a few times with varying degrees of success, including a single outlier of 21.90 coins.
However, with wins of about 1.5x averaging once every four spins, it wasn’t happening for me.
For the next 100 spins, I turned on Bonushunt for 3 coins per spin and was almost immediately rewarded with three free spin symbols. I selected Luck of the Pharaoh, but netted a disappointing 39.20 return. Enough to put me slightly in the green — though after a few more spins, I was back in the red.
I got two free spin symbols a lot, but the third one was proving to be elusive. Finally though, it happened, and with Lost Treasures I scored a massive payout of 170 coins.
I was still a little behind, though with four spins to go I triggered the Bonus Rounds again, and again went to Lost Treasures. Unfortunately, a meager payout of 13 coins and nothing on my final few spins left me with a loss of about 11 coins.
Disappointing, and with a more lucrative final bonus it could have been so much more. Still, once I turned on Bonushunt, I had a lot of fun and will definitely be returning to this game.

What you think of this game is going to depend on how you feel about bonuses. For me, this is an improvement on Le Bandit — and I started enjoying this game a lot more once I leaned into its bonus features. However, this is a double-edged sword. And the amount of decisions and different bonuses can make it feel like there’s too much going on.
