RichSweeps is jumping on the rip-and-ship trend with its new feature called Rich Rips!
Alongside the usual sweepstakes casino experience, RichSweeps now has a whole new section to its site where players can open mystery boxes or packs of cards and hope to land high-value prizes. These include watches, bags, sports cards, Pokémon cards, tech gadgets, and more!
The general process is pretty simple:
- Pick a box or pack
- Open it and discover what’s inside
- Sell your item back or have it shipped to you in real life
Rich Rips is Available in Almost All States
RichSweeps now joins other sweepstakes brands like Crown Coins, MyPrize.us, and WOW Vegas that have incorporated the trend into their platform.
Importantly, because these products are seen as collecting and entertainment experiences rather than sweepstakes gaming, they can open up platforms to players in states where dual-currency gaming may have been banned, like California and New York.
In RichSweeps’ case, Rips is available to players in 48 states, excluding Nevada and Washington, while the currency used is USD, which can be withdrawn to a card or crypto account starting at $50.
You can’t play Rips with SC, although you can convert your SC to USD to use in the Rips area.
Rich Rips Adds Arcade Games to Box and Pack Openings
Another reason to check out Rich Rips is that it doesn’t just offer a simple opening animation. Players can reveal their boxes and packs through arcade-style games, including:
- Plinko
- Space Jumper
- Laser Party
- Hoop Madness
- Death Race
- Smasher
This gives Rich Rips a clear USP over the more basic pack-opening experiences we’ve seen elsewhere. It also offers players in states where sweeps casinos are restricted a more game-focused experience with actual arcade mechanics.
For example, if you choose Plinko, the ball drops between the pins as usual, but instead of landing at the bottom to score a simple multiplier, the pot it lands in determines which prize you get!
With prizes ranging from Patek Philippe watches and Hermès Birkin bags to rare Pokémon cards, there’s a chance to uncover something genuinely special. Of course, the odds mean you’re more likely to land a lower-value item (like a can of soup) but that’s the thrill of playing!
See the Odds Before You Buy
RichSweeps’ Rips displays all the important information you need to know when you select a box or pack, including:
- The full item pool
- The value of each item
- The odds of pulling each item
This gives players a clearer idea of what’s available before they decide to open a pack.
Then, once a prize has been revealed, players can choose to have it shipped to their door or sell it back for USD wallet credit.
There’s also an auto sell feature, which automatically sells each item back for wallet credit. This allows players to keep going without having to watch the animations or deal with each pack individually.
Players should bear in mind that they have 24 hours from when an item is credited to request physical shipment. After that window closes, shipping is no longer available, although the sell-back option remains.
Overall, Rich Rips brings a fresh twist to the rip-and-ship trend, combining arcade-style games with the excitement of hunting for rare and valuable collectibles. And that’s on top of the usual sweepstakes casino experience (in eligible states).
