SlotsaGifts Sweepstakes Casino Review

SlotsaGifts is a sweepstakes casino with a pretty unique mechanic. As when you win while playing one of their 500+ games, rather than just winning Sweeps Coins, you also win a currency called Reward Balance (RB for short). And this RB currency is what sets SlotsaGifts apart. As with RB, you can head to the Rewards Payday Store and grab yourself a variety of rewards, including laptops, tickets to sporting events, or even an unforgettable vacation.

It’s a pretty unique structure. However, while unique can be good, we wanted to see how SlotsaGifts measures up as a sweepstakes casino and whether or not this rewards-based prize system can actually hold up when compared to the big names. In this SweepsKings review, you’ll be able to check out my findings.

Legal States

As a sweepstakes casino, SlotsaGifts is perfectly legal in most US states. However, there are still some restrictions. To play at SlotsaGifts, you must be at least 18+, and you cannot play from any of the following US states: California, Connecticut, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, or Washington.

How SlotsaGifts Social Casino Works

Unlike most sweepstakes casinos, SlotsaGifts uses a three-currency system.

Gold Coins are your typical Standard Play currency — they cannot be redeemed in any way and they are purely for fun. Sweeps Coins meanwhile, are the Promotional Play currency. And once played with at least once, your Sweeps Coins balance becomes tied to the third currency of Reward Balance.

Reward Balance can seem a little confusing at first, but it’s pretty straightforward. Basically, for every 1 played-through SC, you’ll have a balance of 400 RB. RB balance is directly tied to played-through SC, and so if you have a played-through SC balance of 10 SC though then lose 5 SC, your RB balance will go down from 4,000 RB to 2,000 RB. And this is important to note, as it’s RB which can be exchanged for a variety of prizes in the special Rewards Payday Store.

Gold Coins can be obtained through bonuses or bought in Gold Coins packages. Sweeps Coins cannot be purchased directly; however, they are usually awarded as a free gift when purchasing Gold Coins packages — and like Gold Coins, Sweeps Coins can also be awarded through free bonuses. Reward Balance is tied to played-through Sweeps Coins. This means it cannot be purchased or acquired through bonuses, and the only way to get it is to win when engaging in Promotional Play.

SlotsaGifts Bonuses

Once you sign up to SlotsaGifts, you’ll immediately be awarded 10,000 GC. Then, once you’ve completed the first part of verification, you’ll receive the second part of the sign up casino bonus worth 2 free SC.

From there, SlotsaGifts offers a fantastic first purchase bonus. 600,000 GC + 60 SC for just $24.99. This represents outstanding value — however, it’s not the only bonus that SlotsaGifts has.

Bonuses Review

For existing players, heading to the promotions page is a great way to get up-to-date information on all the bonuses currently on offer.

The daily login bonus can award you up to 5,000 GC + 0.2 SC a day just for logging in. Meanwhile, participating in weekly draws and referring friends are other easy ways to get extra free coins without having to spend a penny.

SlotsaGifts also offers regular reload bonuses. Though as a pro tip, while reload bonuses are pretty frequent, the best reload bonuses are offered on Fridays, the weekends, and during holidays — and so I recommend you save up and try to only purchase coins during those periods.

At SlotsaGifts, you never have to make a purchase. However, it can be a decent strategic option to make a couple of purchases here and there as by doing so, you’ll be able to tier up through the SlotsaGifts VIP program.

This program is definitely worth checking out, because as you tier up through the silver, gold, and platinum tiers, you’ll gain access to extra promos and bonuses that can award you even more free coins.

Promotions & Bonus Assessment

SlotsaGifts Casino-Style Games

SlotsaGifts has over 500 games, with 400+ of these titles being slots. Though while that may sound big, compared to a lot of other sites, 500 games isn’t actually all that much.

But don’t worry. Because these games have been developed by some of the best producers around, like Betsoft, BGaming, and Relax Gaming, just to name a few.

Games and Software Review

All games can be played with Gold Coins or with Sweeps Coins. Though one thing to really note is that games can vary pretty wildly based on RTP and min bet — and since SlotsaGifts doesn’t have interactive gamecards, you’ll actually need to open each individual game to see its stats.

But with that being said, none of the games have bad RTP. As with an RTP range of about 94-96%, it’s really a case of some games offering good RTP, while others just offer a pretty average level of RTP.

SlotsaGifts Banking

How banking works at SlotsaGifts is what separates them from other sweepstakes casinos. As while purchases are pretty normal, redemptions are exclusively done through the Rewards Payday Store.

Payment Options Review

Starting with purchases, there’s nothing too crazy here. Select the Gold Coins package you wish to purchase, choose how you wish to pay, enter in the relevant details, and then confirm your purchase. Then wait 1 or 2 seconds, and your coins will be credited to your account. Simple.

With redemptions though, things are a bit different. Because once you’re ready to make at least 52,500 RB (approx 130 USD) worth of redemptions, you’ll be able to head to the Rewards Payday Store and start shopping.

Is SlotsaGifts Casino Legit?

Judging the legitimacy of SlotsaGifts is tricky. Because on the one hand, they are following all of the laws, implementing strong KYC checks, and are stocking games from trustworthy providers. However, on the other hand, they’re just so new.

Parent company 702 Partners LLC is completely new to sweepstakes casinos, and SlotsaGifts itself is still too young to fully trust.

The end result is that while the early signs are good, there’s no way to say for sure they’re trustworthy. So while I think you’re safe to play here, I would recommend being cautious.

SlotsaGifts Customer Support

I was extremely impressed with the customer support at SlotsaGifts. I had a couple of questions about how the site operated, and within seconds, I got a response via live chat. This is probably one of the fastest responses I’ve ever received when reviewing sweepstakes casinos — and while it may’ve just been lucky timing, it definitely left a good impression on me.

Not only fast though, these responses were incredibly helpful. I also reached out to them via email, and while they were a little bit slower there, the quality of their responses was still very high.

The only area that is kind of lacking is their help center.

I searched for a couple of basic issues. However, the results always come up empty. I’m sure this will get better with time, though for now at least, it definitely is an area that could do with a bit of improvement.

SlotsaGifts Casino UX

SlotsaGifts looks to be a CogniPlay-designed sweepstakes casino. This means you can expect the same ease of navigation that you get with sites like Spinfinite and MegaSpinz, regardless of whether you access the site from your desktop or your mobile. However, it also means that non-slot game categorization is a bit lousy.

Personally, I quite like it. You’ve got heaps of ways to sort through slots, new promotions are prominently displayed at the top of the screen, and the whole site is just so effortless to get around. This simplicity and straightforwardness extends to other aspects of SlotsaGifts as well.

Registration takes just a couple of minutes, and verification of your account is likewise very easy to do.

SlotsaGifts Sister Sites

SlotsaGifts does not have any direct sister sites. However, in this section I want to compare them to similar sweepstakes casinos so you can see if the rewards store redemption process is worth the trade-off for you.

Comparison

How It Stacks Up

When compared to other sweepstakes casinos designed by CogniPlay, there’s really not much separating SlotsaGifts from the rest of them. Yes, MegaSpinz has a better library of games, and yes, the bonuses at Zonko do probably win out. However, these sites are incredibly similar. So what you’re really looking at as the real difference is of course, SlotsaGifts’ redemption mechanic.

If you prefer cash redemptions, well then SlotsaGifts clearly loses out. But if you’re looking to win prizes instead, then SlotsaGifts has a notable advantage, and it might just be the sweepstakes casino for you.

Our Experts Verdict

SlotsaGifts is a good, albeit not great sweepstakes casino.

Their gaming library isn’t particularly big, but it is full of high-quality games. Customer support is fantastic, although the help center needs some work. In most areas, they’re a solid B+. And so what’s really going to be the deciding factor in whether or not you’d want to play here is how you feel about their redemption system.

For me personally, I want cash. I think the Rewards Payday Store is an interesting concept, and I definitely enjoyed browsing through the catalog to see what I could get. Though with that being said, I’d much rather have the freedom of cash than have to redeem for a prize that I only kind of want.

However, that’s just personal preference. And if this type of redemption is what you’re after, then SlotsaGifts is definitely worth checking out.
