StormRush Sweepstakes Casino Review
Launched in September 2025, StormRush is a sweepstakes casino from A1 Development LLC, the company behind Funrize and TaoFortune.
It’s available in 30+ US states and uses the standard Gold Coins (GC) and Super Coins (SC) system, with SC redeemable for real cash prizes.
The platform stands out for its huge 1,850+ game library featuring slots from providers like BGaming, Slotmill, JILI, and Betsoft, alongside live dealer and fishing games.
However, StormRush also has some of the most restrictive redemption rules I’ve seen in the sweeps space, so there’s quite a lot players should understand before jumping in.
Pros
- 1,850+ games playable instantly after signup
- Mix of slots, live dealers, and fishing games
- Decent first purchase bonus offers
- Fast and helpful live chat support
Cons
- $25 max win from free SC
- Identical to sister sites
- Balance needs to be at 0 to apply for AMOE
- RTP and volatility hidden from lobby
StormRush is best suited to players who just want a massive choice of games to mess around with, especially slots, live dealers, and fish shooters. The platform itself works fine and feels legit, but the redemption rules are some of the harshest around and you really need to understand what you’re doing before spending money here.
Legal States
Players who are 21 or over and located in one of the 35 unrestricted states in the US can join StormRush Casino. The restricted states where you cannot play are:
- Washington
- Idaho
- Wyoming
- Michigan
- Nevada
- Connecticut
- Delaware
- Montana
- West Virginia
- New York
- Louisiana
- Rhode Island
- New Jersey
- California
- Tennessee
How StormRush Social Casino Works
This is a free to play dual-currency platform that uses Gold Coins (GC) and Super Coins (SC). GC are purely for fun/free play, while SC hold no inherent value but they can be redeemed for real cash prizes at a rate of 1 SC : $1. Redemptions become possible once you’ve built up to the minimum redemption amount of 100 SC. You can also redeem for Prizeout gift cards from 25 SC at StormRush Casino.
GC and SC are sourced through bonuses or via coin bundles purchased at the store. However, the purchases are purely optional, making this platform different from traditional online casinos. All games are available in both modes, and SC must be played through at least once before they can be redeemed.
There are a couple of unfortunate things that make playing at StormRush more restrictive than your standard sweeps casino, though. Redemptions of SC derived from bonuses are limited to only 25 SC, and if you make a purchase while you still have bonus-derived SC in your wallet, the same rule will be applied. Basically, you should make sure your wallet is at absolute zero if you decide to buy a coin bundle. Also, you won’t be able to make any redemptions until you’ve made at least one purchase.
StormRush has a maximum daily redemption system based on your purchase history too (like all other A1 casinos). Tier 1 players (under $100 spending) can redeem up to 100 SC a day. This increases up to 2,000 SC daily if you’ve spent over $1,000 at StormRush. Not a fan.
StormRush Casino Bonuses
All players signing up at StormRush via SweepsKings get 750,000 GC + 1 SC, no purchase or questions asked. Just make sure to verify your email for the full bonus to be credited, otherwise you’ll only get 500,000 GC.
Then, if you want to buy some coins, StormRush’s first purchase bonus provides good value. In fact, there are two routes to choose from. You can head to the coin store and benefit from these two packages, offering 100% extra free SC each:
- 750,000 GC + 40 SC for $19.99 (‘Most Popular’)
- 1,050,000 GC + 70 SC for $34.99 (‘Best Deal’)
Or you can head to the ‘Promotions’ page and take advantage of the ‘Energy Pack’ with its five levels.
This is a progressive, multi-part deal – by purchasing the first package you unlock the second one etc. Once again, you can score up to 100% extra free SC, although the amount of free SC you get decreases as you go. Of course, you will end up spending more than if you’re just buying the simple packages from the store, but you’ll also get more free SC overall.
Bonuses Review
| No Deposit Bonus | 750,000 GC + 1 SC |
| Promo Code | Not required |
| First Purchase Bonus | 100% extra SC across various packages |
| Daily Free Credits | Daily Charger + Thunder Wheel |
| VIP Program | Yes (Iron - Crystal) |
| Mail-in Bonus | 1 SC (balance must be zero) |
| Referral Bonus | 500,000 GC + 20 SC |
StormRush offers daily free credits once you’ve finished filling out the information in your profile. Then you can claim GC and SC through the ‘Daily Charger’. You’ll start on 10,000 GC and 0.1 SC on day one here, and by logging in consistently you can build your streak and work up to 10 Free Plays (for use on a specific slot). Free Plays are worth 0.2 SC each, so this is worth 2 SC in total. There’s also a wheel that you can spin twice daily, and a weekly reward that comes every Sunday.
StormRush has a VIP scheme called the VIP Club and you level up by playing games on the platform. As you climb through the 10 ranks you’ll find various perks improve, such as the aforementioned weekly rewards, birthday gifts, and access to a personal manager.
You can also mail in a postcard via the Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE) system to claim 1 SC per entry. Full details for this can be found on the ‘How it works’ page, but do note that this option is only available for players with an account balance of 0.
If you want to refer others to StormRush, you can earn 500,000 GC and 20 SC while they get 400,000 GC and 5 SC. This is assuming they make purchases of at least $20.

StormRush Casino-Style Games
The game library at StormRush is powered by a big mix of studios including names like BGaming, Slotmill, JILI Gaming, AvatarUX, and Betsoft alongside plenty of smaller suppliers. In total, there are 1,850+ titles covering slots, live social casino games, and fishing-style games. All games can be played in GC or SC.
Everything is unlocked immediately after signup, so there’s no need to grind levels or make a purchase before accessing the full StormRush lobby. Navigation is fine, with filters including Rapid Link, New, Bonus Buy, Jackpot, Fishing, and Providers helping narrow things down quickly. Unfortunately we are missing an easy filter for the live dealer games, so you’ll have to search manually for them with the search box.
Also, there are no traditional RNG table games outside of the live casino section, or scratchcards, arcade games, plinko etc. which some players might miss.

StormRush doesn’t provide useful game data from the lobby itself. RTP, volatility, and max win info are all missing, so you often have to load a game and hope for the best. The only way to find out the stats for each game is to look in the info menus once the game has loaded, but even then, only the bigger studios offer this knowledge, which is far from ideal.
I was glad to see a jackpot offered in three types (Flash Jackpot, Fire Balls, Asian Fortune) – it gives you a chance to opt-in and win some big lump sums. Fortunately, these prizes aren’t subject to the 25 SC cap themselves, but they will be if you’re playing with a StormRush casino bonus.
With over 1,700 slots, you really are spoiled for choice at StormRush. You’ll find jackpots, Megaways, Hold & Win/Rapid Link, scatter pays, cluster pays, 3 pots, and plenty of other modern slot styles with interesting mechanics.
As for stats, StormRush seems to sit in the acceptable RTP range. Most slots are around the 94% RTP mark, while some are outliers around 92% or 96%.
Minimum stakes also vary a fair bit, from just 0.05 SC on Jack and the Wild Beanstalk up to the more standard 0.2 SC on many games. So the summary is: playable RTPs and low minimum bets but nothing screams high-value.
If you’re looking for inspiration, one of my favorite slots is Big Fruit Theory from Popiplay. It’s very similar to the Pragmatic Play classic Gems Bonanza with a meter to the side of the grid.
If you land enough cluster wins to fill the meter, you’ll hit the bonus round where the game cycles through 5 special features to boost activity on the board massively. One of the best is Fruit Blender where all instances of one symbol transform into Wilds.
Another favorite of mine is Huff House Bonanza by ICONIC21, which takes a huge dose of inspiration from games like Huff N’ Puff. Basically, the game is built on the story of The Three Little Pigs and you can build up houses with straw, wood, and brick before the Wolf comes to try and blow them down. There’s also a Bonus Wheel above the grid, so it never gets boring.
These are a couple of examples of the great slots you have access to at StormRush.
Live dealer games at StormRush are supplied by ICONIC21 and JackTop. Both companies employ real human dealers who present the games via live stream and there are even chatboxes for a truly social feel.
Some of my favorites to play are Live Roulette, Speed Blackjack, and Gravity Wheel. In fact, that last one is more of a game show where players can land massive multipliers from the spinning wheel. It has a bit more energy than the standard table games and feels closer to something like Crazy Time rather than a traditional casino setup.
Unfortunately there are no pure RNG table games (those without live dealers). I know some players prefer their simplicity so I wanted to mention it. However, overall, I believe live dealers are more popular in this day and age, so StormRush has you covered there.
Fortunately, there’s a ‘Fishing’ filter in the lobby so you can easily see all the fish shooters on one screen. There are just under 20, but these games are relatively niche so it’s always great to have them.
They provide a different type of fun as the player controls a cannon shooting at ‘enemies’. Each shot uses up coins, but you can win some back by destroying the enemies, and you can also gain various power-ups for your cannon along the way.
There are traditional fish shooters like Fishing Kingdom and Thunder Fishing, both from NetGame here, but I’ve been really enjoying Dragon Shooter: Shoot & Win from JILI too. This one feels more like a traditional shmup arcade game with a spaceship and a vertically scrolling screen. Of course, the enemies are more dragonesque than fishy too.

StormRush Banking
Players can purchase bundles of Gold Coins and Super Coins from the coin store using Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Apple Pay, and PayPal. The cheapest package is $4.99 for 50,000 GC and 5 SC, while the priciest package is $499.99 for 5,000,000 GC and 500 SC.
The proportions of coins do not change at StormRush, so the only way to get extra SC is to take advantage of offers like the first purchase deals.

Players can easily view their wallet at the top of the screen, although you will have to click the drop-down menu to switch between coins. To purchase, just click the bluey green button next to your wallet. Also look out for limited time offers that appear on pop ups during your session – these will usually offer good deals with free SC.
You’ll be able to redeem SC for cash once you’ve bought your first coin bundle, and a ‘Redeem’ option will appear. Just make sure you play through any SC once to be able to redeem them.
The minimum redemption amount is 100 SC for cash prizes, which is funny because new StormRush players are also only allowed to redeem 100 SC a day (until they’ve made more purchases and expanded their daily redemption limit). Payout times are about average for the sweeps industry, but the time may depend on whether you pick push-to-card, PayPal, or ACH.
If you’re happy to avoid all that and redeem a Prizeout gift card, you can start at 25 SC and the payout time should be faster.

Is StormRush Casino Legit?
StormRush is a relatively new site but it comes from A1 Development LLC which has been around for a few years, running other established sweeps brands like Funrize and TaoFortune.
A1 is registered in Wyoming, which is a common tactic for online businesses because of the state’s business-friendly laws and privacy protections. It has become one of the bigger operators in the US sweeps space especially through Funrize. Its platforms all follow a very similar structure/UI and use the same dual-currency model, but beyond this, and the fact that A1’s founder is Scott Seedall, we don’t know too much.
StormRush doesn’t have a gambling license because it doesn’t operate as a state-regulated real money iGaming site – rather, it functions under federal sweepstakes laws, meaning no certification is necessary.
StormRush has a page on Trustpilot and it currently sits at a rating of 3.8/5. The positive reviews focus on the choice of games and prompt customer service, while the negative ones call out the 25 SC redemption cap for bonus funds and the fact that promo codes offered on the Facebook page don’t always work.
A1’s sites tend to have a 21+ age restriction, which is higher than the 18+ requirement that most sweeps sites have – you could say this is a step in the right direction to prevent underage gaming. The site requires that you complete its KYC process to receive the full signup bonus and to redeem any SC too.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a responsible gameplay page in the footer like at the other A1 sites, but the most important thing is that there are tools available under ‘Responsible Play Settings’ within the account page (accessible from the main navbar).
Here, StormRush players can set activity reminders up to every 2 hours, apply purchase limits, activate cool-off periods from 1-30 days, or self-exclude for anywhere between 6 months and permanently. So while the presentation is a little barebones compared to some competitors, the core responsible gaming tools are at least present and easy enough to access once you know where to look.

StormRush Customer Support
Like its sister sites, StormRush doesn’t really have a help center or even an FAQ page. What it does have is a ‘How it works’ page and helpful text boxes scattered throughout the user journey. Experienced players will most likely be fine, but newbies may need some guidance and could be gaming blissfully unaware of some of the rules.
If you do ever have any questions, there are a couple of main ways to get in touch with the customer support team. The most popular one is the live chat box: just type in your query, bypass the AI bot, and wait for a human member of staff to hop on and answer your question. I find StormRush’s staff to be quite polite and prompt.
You can also send an email to the address listed in the footer of the site, but I’m not sure why you’d ever need to do this because it’s going to take more time to get answered. Maybe if the live chat was ever down or too busy? Likewise, you could try messaging on the StormRush Facebook page too.

StormRush Casino UX
The user interface and general experience at StormRush does the job, but I must say, out of all the A1 casinos, it’s my least favorite design. The other sites use brighter colors or mascots, whereas StormRush has a dramatic feel with lots of dark green, but overall I think it has less personality. Still, there are no real issues with usability.
The site works fine on desktop, tablet, and smartphone, and you don’t need to download any apps to use it. In fact, none are available – all users should access the site through their browser.
The filters in the lobby are fine but missing an option for the live social casino, which is a little odd. There are no game stats or info cards shown in the lobby, except for sometimes a game will have an ‘RTP +0.5%’ tag, or something similar. This is nice, but with no RTP listed in the first place, we don’t really know what the resulting score is unless we go into the game itself and get lucky with the provider showing it.
All the main pages you should need are to be found in the StormRush navbar which is easily accessible via the hamburger menu.
There can be a few pop-ups with the site pushing you to buy coins at times, but this is normal for a sweeps casino.

StormRush Sister Sites
A1 Development LLC has been present in the social casino industry for years now and runs several StormRush sister sites, like Funrize, NoLimitCoins, TaoFortune, and Fortune Wheelz.
StormRush is the newest sweepstakes casino launch by the company, so let’s see how it compares to its more established sister sites.
Comparison
| StormRush Sister Sites | Games | Welcome Bonus | Apps | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| StormRush | 1,850+ | 750,000 GC + 1 SC | No | VIP program |
| Funrize | 2,000+ | 125,000 GC + 3 SC | No | Reputation |
| TaoFortune | 1,700+ | 250,000 TC + 1 SC | Android | Slot selection |
| NoLimitCoins | 1,900+ | 110,000 GC + 1 SC | Android and iOS | Mobile experience |
| Fortune Wheelz | 2,000+ | 250,000 GC | Android | Free gaming |
| FunzCity | 2,100+ | 175,000 GC + 3 SC | No | Welcome bonus |
How It Stacks Up
If you’ve ever played at any of the StormRush sister sites, it’s basically the same experience here. But how does that compare to the rest of the market? Well, in some ways StormRush feels more established and professional than sites run by inexperienced operators. For example, CrazyCoins is a site we recently reviewed that would fall into this category. That being said, even sites like that generally don’t have a huge cap on bonus-derived redemptions.
And huge, popular sites like CoinsBack and Fortune Wins certainly don’t. Plus these sites have better signup deals, better game offerings, and a nice range of bonuses you can actually redeem meaningful amounts from. Personally, when there are great options like this with quite a lot of freedom for the player, I don’t see any reason why you’d choose StormRush Casino.
Our Experts Verdict
StormRush gets a lot right on the surface. The game library is genuinely impressive with 1,850+ titles, decent live dealer options, and a surprisingly fun selection of fishing games.
The problem is that the redemption system hangs over the whole experience like a bad smell.
The 25 SC cap on bonus-derived funds is one of the harshest policies in the space, and the fact purchased funds can inherit the same restriction makes things even more frustrating. Add in daily redemption limits and it starts to feel like players have to constantly manage their wallet carefully to avoid getting caught out.
Still, if your priority is simply having a huge range of games and you understand the rules going in, StormRush can absolutely be entertaining. Just make sure you read the fine print before committing too much money or claiming the StormRush no deposit bonus.
