How Fortune Wheelz Social Casino Works
Fortune Wheelz works like other sweepstakes casinos with its dual-currency system. This is not real money gaming – rather, players can obtain Gold Coins (GC) and Fortune Coins (FC) either from free bonuses or via bundle purchases at the coin store.
GC are used for free play only AKA purely for fun, whereas FC are used for promotional play because they can be redeemed for real cash prizes or gift cards.

The vast majority of no deposit bonuses contain at least 1 free SC, but to have zero SC/FC is not what we want to see. Of course, it’s good to have some GC to get going but most users will want to play for a shot at real prizes.
You can score some FC using the first purchase bonus at the coin store. The main deal is 3,000,000 GC + 65 FC for $49.99 (30% extra free). Fortune Wheelz offers two forms of regular daily bonus. The first is the twice daily Fortune Wheel (the default level for new users). Here you can score up to 10 FC. The second element of the daily bonus is called the ‘Daily Reward’ and you can claim this while building your streak, eventually moving from 0.2 FC to 10 free spins (worth 1 FC) after 7 days. That’s assuming you don’t break your streak at any point.
Fortune Wheelz has a VIP program, meaning users can rise through the ranks according to their play levels – this can upgrade your prize levels on the daily wheel and other weekly rewards. Just be aware that your VIP level only remains valid for two months. To put it simply, you have to level up at least once during every two month period, or you’ll drop back to the start of your current level.

Fortune Wheelz keeps minimum stakes accessible with most titles sitting around 100 GC / 0.2 FC. Where things get a bit squirly is Return To Player percentages. Fortune Wheelz doesn’t show the RTP – or any other useful info – for the slots in the lobby, so you’ll have to load the game up and check stats yourself.

One of my favorites is Huff House Bonanza. In the bonus round you build up houses when Pig symbols land repeatedly on the same squares – straw to wood to brick, just like the tale of The Three Little Pigs. Then the wolf comes along and blows them down, with the more fortified houses earning higher wins. RTP for this slot is 94.01% and max win is 10,000x. It’s just a shame the minimum play amounts are so high for GC at 1,000 GC, but it’s much better for FC at 0.1 FC – this is actually below the site’s average.

The funny thing is that there’s a minimum redemption amount of 100 FC plus a daily limit of 100 FC on new accounts, and this can only be raised by spending more at the coin store.

At $4.99, the lowest package is affordable, but 5 FC isn’t much. I like the current $7.99 first purchase deal which nets you 40% extra free FC. You need to check in regularly though, because these deals can change very quickly.

Is Fortune Wheelz Casino Legit?
Fortune Wheelz doesn’t have a license, but it doesn’t need one – this is because it’s a sweepstakes casino not a real money one.
Many of its suppliers have certificates for RNG testing – these are the established ones like Evoplay, Betsoft, and NetGame. However, some of the newer, smaller suppliers are unknown quantities.
The operator, A1 Development LLC is responsible for multiple other sweepstakes sites like TaoFortune and Funrize. We don’t know a great deal about the company, aside from the fact that it’s registered in Wyoming and the CEO is Scott Seedall.
As for its reputation among players, none of the A1 casinos are really held in high regard. Fortune Wheelz’ Trustpilot page actually has a 4/5 rating from 2,400+ reviews, which isn’t bad, but there have been negative reviews lately.

On the other hand, there are instructions and advice peppered throughout the site. For example, if you click onto the ‘Refer a friend’ page, you’ll find info boxes explaining how the referral process works.
And if you do want to get in touch with the Fortune Wheelz support staff for any reason, there are options, namely email and live chat. I always use live chat because it’s pretty much instant, although you will have to bypass the useless AI agent each time. After that though, a member of the support team will soon join the chat to help you out.
Their answers are usually helpful and thorough, although one thing I don’t like is that they say they’re wrapping up the chat as soon as they’ve answered your first question, basically assuming I don’t have another question. Sometimes it feels like they’re in a rush. However, overall the customer support is good and speedy.

Fortune Wheelz Casino UX
Looking at the user interface here, Fortune Wheelz goes for a classy dark green for the background color. I always associate this kind of green with casinos so it works well, and it allows the other brighter colors, especially yellow and white, to contrast against it.
Overall, the site feels well-made and easy to use. All the main links you’ll need will be found in the left-hand nav, and your wallet sits at the top of the screen along with the ‘Buy’ button to open the coin store.
One thing I’m not a huge fan of is how your wallet balance will flicker up and down in real time as you win and lose on the games, and it can be a bit distracting. Also, there can be an overwhelming amount of pop-ups to fight your way through after login. These usually push you towards buying a bundle of some kind in the store, and it can be a bit much at times.
Game filtering is decent, with categories for things like live dealers, fishing games, and providers. How It Stacks Up
One of my bugbears at Fortune Wheelz is the lack of transparency in the gaming lobby when it comes to gaming stats. Granted, sites like Stake.us – which show RTP for every game – are rare, but they do exist, and this is vital if your providers aren’t going to list RTP even in the game info menus. Many other sites like WOW Vegas and McLuck will show you minimum spins, max wins etc. before the game loads too, which is better than nothing, as at Fortune Wheelz.
Also, the 25 FC cap on bonus-derived redemptions is a rarity across the sweeps space too. Pick almost any other site we’ve reviewed here on SweepsKings and they’re likely to have unlimited redemptions, or a much higher limit to make playing with bonus funds actually worthwhile.
Looking on the positive side, Fortune Wheelz does have a strong gaming lobby overall, and its 2,000+ titles from some quality providers beats other competitors such as Spinfinite and Crown Coins which only have game totals in the hundreds.

Fortune Wheelz is one of those sweepstakes casinos that looks impressive at first glance. The site has more than 2,000 games, a polished UI, decent mobile support, live dealers, fishing games, plinko, jackpots, and leaderboards. In terms of pure entertainment value, there’s a lot to do here, and the low minimum FC play amounts on most games make it accessible too.
The problem is that the deeper you go, the more restrictive the platform starts to feel. The lack of FC in the signup bonus is poor, the first purchase deal is underwhelming, and the infamous 25 FC redemption cap on bonus-derived funds hangs over everything.
The fact this restriction can carry over to purchased FC if you mix balances makes things even worse. Add in RTP transparency issues, daily redemption caps, and constant store pop-ups, and it becomes harder to recommend Fortune Wheelz over other sweepstakes casinos on the market.
