SlotSpot Sweepstakes Casino Review

SlotSpot is new on the scene, but it’s definitely one of the better sweepstakes casinos I’ve come across in recent months. The daily login offer is very decent at 0.4 SC, and so is the no deposit reward of 25,000 GC + 1 free SC. Additionally, I had a blast checking out 600+ slots and tables.

I’m discussing my time spent on the platform, going over what I liked, highlighting where it could improve, and giving you my final verdict on whether SlotSpot is worth using.

SlotSpot is legal to use in 31 states and Washington, D.C.

Admittedly, there are a good number of ineligible states, but this site prioritizes legality and compliance with changing sweepstakes regulations by promising strong geo-fencing that blocks even the most advanced VPNs and proxy servers.

How SlotSpot Social Casino Works

SlotSpot is a traditional sweepstakes casino through-and-through. You’ll place bets on social casino games with either of two currencies. Gold Coins (GC) are used exclusively to have fun, and they’re the best currency to practice with because you can’t redeem the winnings for prizes.

Sweepstakes Coins (SC) promise something tangible. When you use your bonus SC on games and win enough to request a prize redemption, you’ll have the prize delivered in cash via Skrill, Push-to-Card, or ACH bank transfer.

You can always purchase more Gold Coins, but there’s no way to buy Sweeps Coins outright. They can only be claimed as a free bonus. Luckily, most GC packages come with free SC for players who don’t mind spending a bit of cash.

Even though SlotSpot has the implicit right to impose playthrough requirements up to 20x on your free SC, a standard 1x playthrough is the norm (especially if you’re buying Gold Coins).

I got 25,000 GC and 1 free SC when I signed up with SlotSpot. This is a pretty decent starting bonus, but still lower than I’d expect to see from a newer site. Chumba and McLuck still set the baseline with 2 SC – 2.5 free SC upfront, but I’ve seen platforms that only give you GC when you create a new account (here’s looking at you, Joe Casino).

Moving on, SlotSpot hosts three first-purchase bonuses to give you a 40%, 50%, or 70% coins discount depending on how much you spend. I bought the $2.99 package, which gave me 35,000 GC and 10 free SC to get the ball rolling.

SlotSpot’s daily login bonus is one of the best promos on the site – it promises 0.4 SC every 24 hours. Mail-in requests are another easy way to claim free SC, but they can often be laborious and take a long time to reach your account.

You have to open the menu, click on “Postal Request Code,” and copy the code that appears on the page. From here, you include the code in your written request and follow the instructions in Section C of SlotSpot’s Promotional Play rules. Each accepted request gets you 2 free SC.

Interestingly enough, SlotSpot has a VIP program, but the benefits aren’t specified anywhere on the website. The criteria for earning VIP points are also vague. You can supposedly get more by purchasing coins and playing games.

However, the exact number of points you’ll receive isn’t listed anywhere. I checked the FAQ for more info and came up dry, which isn’t a great look for the brand.

As you might expect from the name, SlotSpot has an excellent variety of slots, Megaways, and exclusive machines on deck. I discovered 649+ games from a myriad of well-known providers, including industry bigwigs like King Show Games and Spin Games.

KSG and Spin Games don’t typically work with sweepstakes casinos, giving some of the game library here a very premium feel. Unfortunately, there aren’t many virtual tables, and the ones that do exist are buried deep within the “All Games” tab.

It’s not possible to sort by software provider, either. This makes finding the games you want a lot harder than it needs to be.

SlotSpot’s banking menu is short and sweet. At the very least, it supports debit/credit card transactions, as well as popular e-wallets like Apple Pay and Skrill. If you’re willing to add a phone number to your account, you can also make purchases through ACH bank transfer.

Redemptions are issued via debit card (Visa/Mastercard only), Skrill, and ACH. Note that you must make a purchase with your debit card or Skrill before you can request a redemption for that specific payment option. If you don’t make any purchases, you can only get paid via bank.

To its credit, SlotSpot is one of the few sweepstakes casinos to offer 24-hour redemptions via Push-to-Card and Skrill. ACH payments take 3-5 business days to reach your bank account. So, if you’re looking for the quickest possible prize redemptions, you’ll need to make a purchase.

Luckily, the purchase minimum here is a very accessible $1.99. This is great to see, especially because you’re entitled to 2 free SC with your purchase. All too often, sweeps casinos make it difficult to claim bonus SC unless you’re spending $5 or more. That isn’t the case at SlotSpot.

I don’t like the fact that 20x playthrough requirements are a possibility, but many platforms have this clause written in their T&C’s without actually imposing it on players. It also usually applies to free promotions, rather than the bonus SC you get from making a GC purchase.

Is SlotSpot Casino Legit?

Despite SlotSpot’s mixed reviews on Trustpilot, it looks to be a fully legitimate sweeps casino. Taking a closer look at what the general public has to say, about half the players had no issue redeeming prizes. The other half makes unsubstantiated claims that the platform is “rigged.”

While I’m not one to discount other people’s lived experiences, there’s absolutely no way the platform is tilted against players. It has partnerships with some of the industry’s best providers and promises RNG-tested games from the word go.

Even though I wasn’t able to request a redemption here, at least one person who commented on Trustpilot had their prize delivered within 8 hours. This shows that SlotSpot is committed to offering 24-hour redemptions, as stated in its FAQ.

Strict geo-fencing also leads me to believe that SlotSpot is on the up-and-up. It’s not possible to register or even view the homepage from a restricted state. SlotSpot also conducts KYC before allowing prize redemptions, making sure that underage players can’t get involved with the site.

It might be new on the scene, but every platform has to start somewhere before it gets popular.

You can get in touch with a real person at SlotSpot by emailing, submitting a support ticket, or leaving a message by phone. Unfortunately, there’s no quick way to reach out because the phone support hotline is callback-only.

I submitted a ticket asking about the site’s minimum redemption limits, and I got a response about 10 hours later telling me to check the FAQ. Although the agent’s reply was unhelpful, I later followed up to inquire about RNG testing. They confirmed that all the games are fair.

Whether you submit an email or ticket, you can expect to wait 12 – 48 hours for a reply. If you leave a voicemail, you can usually anticipate a callback the next day.

Right from the sign-up page, SlotSpot’s UI is easy to navigate on desktop and mobile. I was able to create a new account in about two minutes by entering my email, making a new password, and filling out my address to get started. From here, I got 25,000 GC and 1 free SC upfront.

I liked having immediate access to the GC Store, Lobby, and Redemption Center at the top of the page. The Lobby does a good job of helping you sort games based on popularity, recency, high/low volatility, bonus feature availability, Hold & Win options, and Megaways mechanics.

This slightly makes up for the fact that it’s not possible to search for various software providers on the website. If you’re looking to find slots based on what you’ve already played, I’d suggest trying anything under the “Recommended” tab.

For players using their iPhone/Android device, the site’s bottom-row menu is a useful tool for navigating to the FAQ page, opening your account settings, redeeming prizes, and returning to the Lobby with just a few taps. The only thing SlotSpot’s really missing is a dedicated web app.

The company has so far only released social gaming apps (Show Me Vegas Slots and Lobstermania Slots), making SlotSpot their first take into the sweeps market. That said, it’s able to compete with some of the industry’s largest platforms by nature of its game library, bonuses, and (admittedly unspecified) VIP rewards.

How It Stacks Up

SlotSpot is a leading platform for popular slots from unconventional providers like King Show Games (KSG). As mentioned earlier, many of the games have a premium look and feel since you can’t just find them elsewhere.

That said, the welcome bonus pales in comparison to Casino.click, Coin Wizard Games, and Fortune Wins. If you’re in the market for supersized promotions, Fortune Wins promises a big no deposit bonus over your first week of gameplay.

Casino.click takes the cake for players focused on live/phone support and overall game variety.

Coin Wizard Games is new like SlotSpot, but it has a much better reward for mail-in requests. Instead of getting just 2 free SC per accepted envelope, you can expect 50,000 GC and 6 SC.

Finally, OnPoint’s no-deposit bonus isn’t much, but it’s one of the best sites I’ve found for those interested in social sports betting and casino gameplay. This is something you won’t find at most sweepstakes casinos.

Our Experts Verdict

SlotSpot is a worthwhile sweepstakes casino with plenty of fantastic slots, decent login rewards, a strong commitment to player safety, and dedicated callback support to top it all off. Unless you specifically want to play roulette, baccarat, or classic blackjack, there’s no reason not to sign up.

I wish some details were clearer, such as the minimum redemption limit and the VIP benefits you’ll get over time, but you can expect a solid UX and 24-hour redemption speeds to match. If you’re interested, sign-up to receive a starting bonus of 25,000 GC and 1 SC.
