3 Closed Sweepstakes Casinos Make a Comeback

Three sweepstakes casinos that we thought were gone for good are suddenly showing signs of life again.

Wild World and Vegas Glory are both back online with registration available, while Sweeps.us appears to have launched a new platform before going back into maintenance mode.

So what’s going on here? Are these casinos actually coming back to offer Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins play, and are they worth playing at anyway?

Wild World Casino Is Back

IGW Wild World LLC originally launched Wild World in 2023, but then closed it earlier this year. Now, the casino seems to have now reopened, but without the user accounts (and balances) from before.

I say this because I was able to register a new account, log in, and claim the (very paltry) no deposit bonus of 1,000 GC + 0.1 SC using the same email address from before – this suggests that my old account hasn’t been carried over.

This also lines up with a recent Trustpilot review. User Zachary Morris wrote:

The new Wild World site doesn’t scream professionalism either. The branding looks pretty amateur, with AI-generated tiger mascots that don’t look consistent from one image to the next.

And Trustpilot wasn’t particularly kind to the previous iteration of the site. Wild World currently has 35 reviews, with 51% giving it one star. This gives it a 3.6/5 rating overall, as things stand.

On top of that, we advised users to stay away when we wrote our initial review of the old site. This is because we found red flags, like accepting players from Washington (a no-go area for iGaming), amateur UI and UX, and a lack of good promotions.

Vegas Glory Is Also Back

Vegas Glory was launched by S K FUTURISTIC TECH LLC last year, but it closed down earlier this year. However, it’s now showing signs of life again – I was able to create a new account, although I couldn’t get much further than that.

The problem came when it asked me to verify my mobile number – the site simply wouldn’t send the OTP and displayed an error message.

Again, this is very similar to a recent experience from a Trustpilot reviewer. A rating written earlier today says:

So it seems like Vegas Glory is at least accepting registrations again, although the verification process isn’t exactly going smoothly for everyone, confusing players in the process.

Like with Wild World, there are plenty of older complaints on the Trustpilot page too, particularly to do with customer service and redemptions, although there are positive experiences mixed in. Overall, the rating sits at 2.5/5 from 27 reviews.

So whether Vegas Glory is fully back remains to be seen, but the fact that we could create an account certainly suggests something is happening.

What Happened to Sweeps.us?

Sweeps.us is the strangest of the three because it looks like it actually launched and then went straight back into maintenance mode.

The homepage presents a message that says:

This casino originally launched in 2024 but shut within a year of opening. Maybe King Entertainment Corp is giving it another shot in 2026?

Are These Sweepstakes Casinos Worth Following?

It’s probably too early to call this a trend, but it’s certainly interesting to see three apparently closed casinos suddenly reappearing.

Wild World is accepting registrations again, although it looks like the old platform and accounts may have been wiped. Vegas Glory is live but appears to have some verification issues, while Sweeps.us may have a new platform sitting behind a maintenance screen.

All that being said, we wouldn’t recommend playing at any of these sites. Shutting down without much communication and then relaunching is a red flag in our book, especially when it involves wiping player accounts and their coins. Who’s to say that won’t happen again?
