SpeedSweeps & Sister Sites Update Model: Now Live in 47 States

Sweepstakes casinos operated by WW Funcrafters JWA LLC have brought formerly-restricted states back online, introducing a model using collectible cards and battles, plus Super Coins (SC).

This will open up the platforms to all but three states (Nevada, Washington, and Tennessee), significantly improving availability across the US.

Broadly speaking, this means that states which allow dual-currency sweepstakes casinos will still have access to the Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC) system, while those that have restricted the format will now have access via the new card game. This includes jurisdictions like California and New York which banned dual-currency sweeps last year.

The changes will affect the following brands from WW Funcrafters JWA LLC:

The only sister site (same platform, not company) that won’t move to this system is RichSweeps, as we understand this will move to a ‘Rips‘ style of gameplay (see Rich Rips here), reflecting the popular card pack opening trend we’ve seen at other sites like MyPrize.us and Crown Coins.

How Will the New System Work Exactly on SpeedSweeps?

The WW Funcrafters JWA sites will be introducing a ‘Battle Arena‘ concept. This is where players can use collectible cards in head-to-head battles, with the first player to win two rounds out of three taking the victory. Wins then help players move up the leaderboard and through the loyalty program.

It’s important to note that the battles don’t pay cash or prizes directly; they do interact with the SC/casino side of things, though. If a player’s SC balance ends a casino session lower than it started, the platform automatically gives them Collectible Cards of equal value. Therefore, the system is being framed as one where “players can never take a net loss.”

And casino games will be available in these states. Players will still be able to access slots, blackjack, roulette, Plinko, and live dealer games, while SC will remain redeemable for real money prizes after a 1x playthrough.

Overall, we could class this as more of a single-currency, rather than a dual-currency sweepstakes system.

A Combination of Gameplay Systems

We’ve seen other collectible card games appear in the alternative gaming space, with Card Crush, Albumza, and ZumbaCards among the examples. Candy Coins also has its own Battle Arena concept, while Blitz.us converts coins lost on casino games into Competition Entries that can be used in skill-based PvP games.

So it seems that WW Funcrafters JWA LLC is bringing various ideas together to create its own model. The update also brings a new form of packages at the coin store in affected states, with bundles containing both Collectible Cards and Super Coins.

Here are the SpeedSweeps welcome packages offered in states where the new system is in place:

• $9.99 for 30 SC (Super Coins) + 1 battle card
• $24.99 for 50 SC (Super Coins) + 1 battle card
• $49.99 for 65 SC (Super Coins) + 1 battle card

SpeedSweeps Sister Sites Are Now Available in 47 States

For players, one of the biggest differences now will simply be availability. The standard dual-currency model is not legal in many states, but the new card game will put most of these states back online.

It’s another sign that the alternative gaming industry is moving well beyond the traditional GC/SC model. With operators increasingly experimenting with cards, battles, unboxing, and other systems, the way players access casino-style games for prizes could look very different in the coming years.

To recap, players in states outside Nevada, Washington, and Tennessee will now have access to one of two gaming models at WW Funcrafters JWA sites.
