SweepNext Users Report Account Migration to LuckyStake

According to Reddit and Facebook users, logging in to SweepNext Casino now prompts users to migrate their account to LuckyStake, a separate, already-established sweepstakes platform.

This does align with communications received by SweepsKings. SweepNext stated it would be launching a new brand, and we also heard that the LuckyStake team had been scaling back marketing activity.

Facebook user Waiting_ona_win reported receiving an email recently that stated SweepNext is “rebranding” to LuckyStake too.

We did check the potential for new signups today at SweepNext and couldn’t complete the process, with the following message displayed:

“We’re sorry, but your registration/login cannot be completed. Thank you for your interest”

It’s not uncommon for sweeps brands to push players to a new platform under the same operator, but what might throw users off is that LuckyStake has been up and running since last year. Plus the operators appear to be separate.

Yes, Boostora Ltd and ElevateTech Ltd are believed to be different entities, although both are based in Cyprus, a common location for gaming-related businesses. Could Boostora be taking over at LuckyStake?

Users Report Balance Consolidation

The pop up that SweepNext users are seeing reads:

“We’re introducing LuckyStake – part of our next phase – where your account will continue.

The next step builds on what you already enjoy, with enhanced performance and new features.”

It features an image representing a handoff from the SweepNext leprechaun mascot to the LuckyStake fox mascot.

Then, users have described being prompted to move accounts via an automated transfer – clicking an ‘Agree to transfer’ button will apparently transfer any balance over to LuckyStake.

Reddit user G0_L said:

“I had 14SC on Sweepnext and 6SC on Luckystake. Now I have 20SC on Luckystake.”

Reddit user 2001_Odyssey13 reported that unused bonuses aren’t transferred across, but that they were able to sign up at LuckyStake with a brand new account and claim the SC signup bonus.

Some users also claim successful cashouts after completing the transfer process.

LuckyStake Looks Set to Become the Focus

Both platforms were launched last year, meaning they’re still relatively new, but SweepsKings gave positive reviews to both. However, it seems the focus will now be shifting to LuckyStake, with SweepNext potentially shuttering.

LuckyStake is memorable for its cartoon fox mascot, and it functions via the standard sweepstakes dual-currency system. This means Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC) can be used for fun play and promotional play respectively, with SC redeemable for real cash once they’ve been played through 1x.

The gaming library features over 800 titles, including slots, live dealers, and crash games. It’s also available in over 30 states, making it a great option for players in some states where real-money iGaming is prohibited.
