1UP Sweepstakes Casino Review
Coming from a fresh casino company, 1UP Holdings LLC, 1UP Casino didn’t really make a splash when it launched in 35+ states in late 2025, with a welcome bonus of 20,000 GC + 2 SC, on par with most competitors.
It doesn’t take much analysis to realize that 1UP’s promotions need more variety to keep players engaged. And it’s somewhat disappointing to see its card-and-e-wallet-only payment system with up to 10-day redemptions, and no live support, paired with a pretty bare-bones Help Center.
But its 500+ library covers more ground than you’d expect (although from mostly niche-leaning developers), plus exclusive titles across most categories. I also like how its various filters make browsing easy, how cheap the GC packages are, and how smoothly the site runs on mobile for a web-only platform.
Pros
- 20,000 GC + 2 SC + 200% boost welcome bonus
- $0.99 minimum purchase
- 500+ titles, including Next Gen, Exclusive and Sports-themed games
- Self-serve responsible gaming tools
- User-friendly mobile-optimized website
Cons
- Few ongoing promotions
- 100 SC minimum redemption
- Up to 10-day redemption pending time
Given its unknown owner, lack of live chat, and slow redemptions, 1UP can’t really compete with the best sweepstakes casinos. So, I wouldn’t call it a good choice for experienced players just yet.
But features such as a solid welcome bonus, low-cost GC packages, and a steadily growing lobby suggest it’s on the right path to becoming a strong contender. I’d keep an eye on it, especially if you’re a new player looking to get into the sweepstakes arena.
Legal States
1UP Casino is live in 36 US states and available to users 21 and older. You won’t be able to access or register an account with it if you’re living or residing in California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Louisiana, New York, New Jersey, Nevada, Montana, Michigan, Mississippi, Tennessee, Washington, or West Virginia.
How 1UP Social Casino Works
1UP is an online casino that operates on the standard sweepstakes model, which is why it’s legal across so many US states. It lets you play casino-style games without putting any real cash on the line. Its games play with two currencies called Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC).
Gold Coins are designed strictly for entertainment. You can stake and win them in games, but that’s where their role ends. They don’t have any value outside the site, so you can’t exchange them for real prizes.
Sweeps Coins, on the other hand, have real-world value, so you can use them to win and redeem real prizes at 1UP. However, they’re not available for purchase like GC, which makes them much harder to come by.
1UP bonus offers are really the only way you can get your hands on SC, which is why most players use them sparingly. They also require you to play them through at least once before you can redeem them, so they’re also harder to stretch and hold onto.
Keep in mind, 1UP won’t introduce you to these rules upon registering, like many of its competitors. You have to come prepared to be able to play and make the most of it.
1UP Casino Bonuses
New players at 1UP Casino are eligible for a 20,000 GC + 2 SC no deposit welcome bonus, and a 200% boost on their first GC purchase. I got both within minutes of registration.
The 1UP no deposit bonus credits immediately after you open an account, although you have to verify your email to receive it. The first purchase offer, however, requires you to buy the $9.99 GC package to receive the 300,000 GC, plus 30 SC extra.
Bonuses Review
| No Deposit Bonus | 20,000 GC + 2 SC |
| Promo Code | None |
| First Purchase Bonus | 300,000 GC + 30 SC bundle for $9.99 |
| Daily Free Credits | 5,000 GC + 0.30 SC |
| VIP Program | No |
| Mail-in Bonus | 2 SC |
| Referral Bonus | No |
Besides the 1UP sign up bonus, you can expect only two ongoing promotions: the mail-in and the daily login promo.
The daily login is the more straightforward of the two. It treats you to 5,000 GC and 0.30 SC every day, just for logging in. You also get the first drop right after registration, instead of waiting 24 hours like on most competitors’ sites, which is great news for those who like to jump right into gameplay, like me.
The mail-in bonus offers 2 SC for every handwritten request you send to the casino. The instructions for it are pretty standard if you’re familiar with AMOE deals. The one difference is that you have to include a unique Postal Request Code in each envelope you send.
1UP Casino generates Postal Request Codes from the namesake page linked in the footer, and considers them valid for the next 90 days, which is also how much time you have to send and get your mail-in bonus request approved.

1UP Casino-Style Games
1UP hosts just over 500 games, which is around a quarter of what the best sweepstakes casinos offer today. The platform tries to mask that gap by including strange subcategories like Next Gen and Football, but these just repeat titles. At least genre, RTP, max multiplier, and volatility filters keep navigation manageable.
That said, I have to give 1UP credit where it’s due. The game selection still covers all the essentials, from slots and table games to live casino and crash games. It even includes a few fish games and originals, so I’d say volume is the only thing lacking. That and the provider list.
1UP works with just a few game studios. Betsoft and BGaming are the best-known of the bunch, which won’t be everyone’s cup of tea. But the rest of them are nothing to sneeze at either, judging from their games’ quality.

I liked that the game lobby doesn’t drip-feed access. The only reason some games may be restricted is your location, which isn’t the casino’s fault.
I could play any title available in GC or SC mode the moment I first landed in my account. Yes, the absence of demo mode meant I had to dip into my wallet right away, but at least I had welcome and daily promotions to back me up.
Slots are 1UP’s richest game category, with over 400 titles on board. Most come from Betsoft, so you’ll see plenty of its recognizable 3D titles, like Gypsy Rose or the Tipsy Tourist series, including its latest addition, the Christmas Vacation.
However, there’s no shortage of fun releases from other providers. BGaming’s Tramp Day Trueways is a solid replacement for Megaways (which you won’t find at 1UP), Popiplay’s Curse of Echnaton with its 8×8 grid and multi-level bonuses, a great fit for adventurers, and Dragon Gaming’s Lucky Macau for anyone after high RTP games.
While I did come across a few jackpots, like Jingle Jackpots and Tycoons Billionaire Bucks, they don’t seem to be 1UP’s strongest suit. Coming off McLuck and WOW Vegas, which feature progressive-dedicated categories, I was underwhelmed by the fact that the rewards here peak at 1,000x.
You can still play over 180 games whose max win sits at 10,000x or above. My personal favorite was Wall Street Shop, whose 3×1 grid makes the race to the grand prize that much more interesting. But bear in mind their limits might keep them from being truly rewarding.
Most 1UP slots I tested have play ranges between 0.10 and 25 SC, making them a better fit for casual and risk-averse players than for high rollers, regardless of their max prize.
The 1UP RNG table games collection was my favorite discovery on the site. It not only covers all the casino classics, including roulette, blackjack, poker, and baccarat, but also features a fantastic selection of different variants within each.
If you have a preference for traditional options, European Roulette and Baccarat by Betsoft are a great start. Newbies may find learning the ropes easier in Single Deck Blackjack, and experienced players can up the risk factor with American Roulette.
My go-to, though, was poker, which rarely comes in so many versions on sweepstakes sites. Oasis Poker, which lets you exchange cards before the raise/fold decision, and Triple Edge Poker, where you can play up to three hands at once, are the two I kept coming back to for the extra layer of strategy they require.
The site also hosts niche RNGs like Battle of Cards, Top Card, and 1UP versions of the classics for those who like to mix things up. But there aren’t enough video poker titles to satisfy everyone with an appetite for this genre.
The 20-ish live dealer tables I found during my 1UP review didn’t leave much of an impression.
Yes, there’s a solid variety of games, from blackjack and roulette to baccarat and Sic Bo. You’ll even find a few game shows, such as football-themed dice game Kick-Off or a take on Evolution’s Cash or Crash, called Crash Live, in some locations.
But tables are few and all powered by ICONIC21, which, although a solid developer, has a specific style. Having at least one other brand in the live casino section would make a world of difference for players who gravitate toward these games daily.
Crash and fish games are scattered across the 1UP lobby, so you can’t properly browse them. The easiest way to find one is the search bar, which, as you know, only works if you target a specific title.
This messy organization is even more frustrating given such a strong lineup of both crash and fish games. You can play some of the more creatively themed crash games, like the blocky-graphics Chick vs Croc, NFL-inspired Touchdown Blitz, or classic airplane SkyHigh.
On the fish game front, Fish Hunter by Kaga seems to be a player favorite because it pairs classic fish game gameplay with up to 200x multipliers. But you might also like Space Cats’ old-video-game-style visuals or Poseidon’s Secret with fun shooting modifiers that add a little extra tactics to every round.

1UP Banking
The cashier at 1UP feels pared-back, but that’s not unusual for a younger platform. You can make purchases and redemptions with only 2 types of payment methods, bank cards and Google Pay. There are no signs of which cards are accepted, but a quick dig through the Help Center confirmed Mastercard is definitely one of them, so that’s what I used.
Purchases couldn’t have been simpler. The Coin Store was available the moment I joined 1UP, with a single button click. I could choose between 10 GC packages, and once my card was linked, the process was almost instantaneous.
Payment Options Review
| 1UP Casino Banking | Purchases | Redemptions | Average Redemption Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Debit/Credit Cards | Yes | Yes | Up to 10 business days |
| Google Pay | Yes | Yes | Up to 10 business days |
Redeeming prizes at 1UP was more fiddly. Firstly, I had to rack up at least 100 played SC before even thinking about redemptions, no small feat when the games’ play limits lean low. Then there was the KYC procedure, which is always tedious, no matter how standard it is in the industry.
Still, the worst part for me was the waiting. You have to wait up to 72 hours just for an in-house approval, and then up to 10 days for the coins to reach your account. Were it not for the My History section, which keeps a clear record of every transaction, and customer support reassurances, I might have started to wonder if I’d ever actually see my winnings.
On the bright side, 1UP Casino lets you redeem up to $10,000 or 10,000 SC ($1 = 1 SC) per day in most locations, so you can make larger redemptions less frequently and make all the waiting worthwhile.
| Cost | Gold Coins | Sweeps Coins |
|---|---|---|
| $0.99 | 10,000 | 1 |
| $4.99 | 50,000 | 5 |

| $9.99 (one-time deal) | 300,000 | 30 |
| $19.99 | 200,000 | 20 |
| $49.99 | 500,000 | 50 |
| $99.99 | 1,000,000 | 100 |
| $149.99 | 1,500,000 | 150 |
| $199.99 | 2,000,000 | 200 |
| $299.99 | 3,000,000 | 300 |
1UP GC packages start at just $0.99 for 10,000 GC + 1 SC bonus and reach $299 for 3 million GC + 300 SC extra. They’re not only cheaper than most competitors, including RealPrize and McLuck, which are known for lower starting prices of GC, but also more varied. Plus, they all come with an SC extra, so you can’t really make a mistake, whichever you choose.

Is 1UP Casino Legit?
1UP feels a bit dodgy at first glance. It’s not that it’s not licensed, since sweepstakes sites don’t require traditional gaming permits to operate legally. It’s more so the lack of transparency I’ve come across in my research.
As per its Terms and Conditions page, 1UP is run by 1UP Holdings LLC, but that’s as much as the site shares. I couldn’t dig up much else online either, except that this appears to be a Las Vegas-based company that launched 1UP in 2025 and doesn’t own any other sweepstakes casinos.
I will say, however, that 1UP does exhibit all the other hallmarks of a legit social gaming platform. It features comprehensive Sweeps Rules and Terms and Conditions pages and keeps players in control of their data through a standard privacy policy.
It also partners with regulated developer brands, so we can trust that its games are fair, and it supports reputable payment methods, making transactions feel secure.
While the site doesn’t explicitly mention its security protocols, it took me a few seconds to confirm it holds a valid SSL encryption certificate from Google Trust.

Finding a page dedicated to responsible gaming was easier than I expected, which is always good to see. It features advice and a questionnaire and directs anyone who thinks they might have a problem to Gaming Addicts Anonymous, an independent organization.
But I was even more delighted to find readily accessible responsible gaming tools in the Account settings. You can set purchase limits, set a 1-30 day cool-off period, and self-exclude for up to 60 months without contacting support. The tools are available any time, day or night; you just have to press a few buttons.

1UP Customer Support
There are two customer support channels at 1UP Casino: an on-site ticketing system and email (support@play1up.co). Both are available 24/7, but only during the workweek (Monday through Friday). Your messages will go through during the weekend, too, but responses will likely be delayed.
Asking for help through tickets was the faster option for me, though I wouldn’t say there’s too much difference. You generally get replies within a few hours through both support channels. It’s more about catching agents when they are less busy, really.
Where tickets and emails differ is the type of requests they handle. Email is reserved for general questions, the kind that better-organized sweeps casinos (Stake comes to mind) cover well enough in the Help Center. 1UP has one, but it’s really thin on details, so email ends up filling the gaps.
Tickets are the route for any unique issues you run into while using the platform, like delayed withdrawals or verification troubles. The system even encourages you to add screenshots of whatever you’re dealing with, for improved assistance.

1UP Casino UX
1UP takes the traditional approach to design. It has dark skin, a clean layout with a side menu, and a few important information pages linked in the footer. It works pretty well, although I did expect a bit more modernity, considering it was launched late in the sweepstakes game.
The game category filters, which let you refine your search based on factors like volatility, max win, and providers, are easily my favorite part of the site. That, and the Account settings, which offer a quick insight into transactions and rewards as well as access to responsible gaming tools.
The casino’s mobile version could use some work. There are no standalone apps, just the mobile-optimized website, which was a bit sluggish at times during my 1UP review. Beyond that, though, it held up well enough.
Heads-up: Don’t be confused if you run into an iOS or Android app called 1UP Casino Slot Machines. They have nothing to do with this brand; the name is just a coincidence.

1UP Sister Sites
1UP Casino has no sister sites to compare it to, so I chose a few sweepstakes gaming brands instead. You can see how they stack against 1UP in the table below, and draw your own conclusions.
Comparison
| Sites Like 1UP Casino | Games | Welcome Bonus | Apps | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1UP | 500+ | 20,000 GC + 2 SC | N/A | Reliable daily bonus |
| RealPrize | 700+ | 100,000 GC + 2 SC | N/A | Social media promotions |
| PeakPlay | 60+ | 10,000 GC + 2 SC | N/A | 50 SC minimum redemption limits |
| Rolla | 2,000+ | 500,000 GC + 10 SC | N/A | Generous welcome bonus |
| RichSweeps | 3,000+ | 50,000 GC + 1 SC | N/A | Large game collection and crypto redemptions |
| NoLimitCoins | 1,450+ | 110,000 GC + 1 SC | iOS and Android | Mobile gaming |
How It Stacks Up
1UP can’t match RealPrize’s promotional lineup, having only daily login and mail-in bonuses. But it’s on par with most competitors when it comes to its sign up promotion, 20,000 GC + 2 SC + 200% boost on first purchase bonus. After all, few social gaming brands can afford to welcome newcomers with 10 SC, as Rolla does.
What Rolla and 1UP have in common, however, is the 100 SC minimum redemption limit, something you’ll unfortunately find at a growing number of sweepstakes casinos, including RichSweeps, NoLimitCoins, and RealPrize. If you’re after a lower threshold, say 50 SC, you might want to go with PeakPlay. You’ll have only 60 games to play though, which is a tradeoff some won’t mind.
Games-wise, 1UP has the upper hand in both variety and volume, hosting over 500 titles from some interesting developers. But it still lags behind RichSweeps, which packs over 3,000 and also supports crypto transactions for the ultimate redemption speed, another of 1UP’s shortcomings.
Still, RichSweeps doesn’t have mobile apps, much like 1UP, and most of the latest brands in the sweepstakes scene. Players set on app-based play can turn to NoLimitCoins.
Our Experts Verdict
1UP Casino really hit the nail on the head for me in the welcome bonus and GC packages department. Solid in value and easy for basically anyone to grab, both make gaming on the site quick and easy.
Although it’s on the smaller side number-wise, I’d say the same for the game library. A diverse offering makes the small provider lineup feel less limiting, and the useful game filters and excellent mobile optimization really make the experience seamless.
I’m willing to excuse the thin ongoing bonuses lineup, mostly because 1UP is still finding its footing. What’s harder to look past, though, is the lack of transparency and the way redemptions are handled.
You can’t really trust a casino that shares so little about its background, even with solid security and responsible gaming practices. And the 100 SC minimum redemption limit, paired with few payment method choices and an up-to-10-day wait, doesn’t help its case, either. Fix those, and the picture changes entirely.
