BigCashSweeps Social Casino Review

BigCashSweeps Homepage

BigCashSweeps has a somewhat contentious reputation amongst sweepstakes casino fans. Despite being launched only in July 2025, it has quickly come under suspicion from fellow players for not quite adhering to the “no purchase necessary” rule that all social casinos must abide by. Naturally, I was keen to take a closer look and see what the chatter was about.

What immediately stands out is that BigCashSweeps expects (and heavily pushes) coin purchases. I was asked to purchase coins before triggering redemptions. I was even effectively asked to buy coins before I could play for any length of time. The alarm bells start ringing the moment you sign up and claim the “no deposit bonus”, and the social casino goes on to raise even more questions about its policies the longer you play.

Dive deep with me as I reveal everything you need to know about this murky social casino in my BigCashSweeps review.

Pros

  • Has an SSL certificate
  • Supports games from lesser-known providers
  • A mobile-optimized, browser-based interface
  • Accepts PayPal

Cons

  • Requires purchases before free play with GC is activated
  • Requires purchases before redemptions
  • Likely fake games, impossible to lose on certain titles
  • Supports Pragmatic Play games, which are no longer available in the US
  • Two types of redemption fees are in place
Editor’s Note

The constant demand for players to purchase coins goes against the no-purchase-necessary mantra of sweepstakes casinos. That, coupled with the appearance of Pragmatic Play games and how quickly your free-to-play experience stagnates without buying coins, means I strongly encourage you to think twice about playing at BigCashSweeps.

How BigCashSweeps Works

BigCashSweeps supports Gold Coins, and true to form, they cannot be converted into real money prizes. It also has Sweeps Coins, which you can’t purchase. So far, so good. A third coin, known as the Sweeps Bonus (SB), is also available. This is the only actual “free coin” at BigCashSweeps. It is given to players via daily promos and can be staked on games. You can convert SB winnings into SC, but only if you complete tasks. Unsurprisingly, the only task I was asked to complete was buying Gold Coins.

There’s definitely something not right here. Gold Coins are supposed to be the standard coin for free play at social casinos, but your opportunities to get hold of them are limited unless you purchase them. Given that the amount of daily Sweeps Bonus Coins you receive is limited to under 10 SB per day, there’s no room for entertainment-only gameplay without buying GC. That goes entirely against the no-purchase-necessary mantra, and your opportunities to play therefore stagnate rapidly if you don’t purchase coin packages. This is not what you expect from a legitimate sweepstakes casino.

BigCashSweeps Casino Bonuses

BigCashSweeps Bonus

BigCashSweeps offers you just 10 SB upon registration, and you’re free to play games immediately. You’ll also be given 2,000 GC and 0.50 SC via a Lucky Box. The contents of that box (thus, the second part of the sign-up bonus) are locked until you purchase coins. You’ll even be greeted with a pop-up inviting you to do so for $4.99, which offers you 5,000 GC and 5.99 SC, after which your original sign-up bonus unlocks.

BigCashSweeps Deposit Bonus

Oddly enough, that Lucky Box doesn’t represent your first purchase bonus, though. A separate offer is available there. That promises the reward from your conventional coin package, plus a 270% boost, but only in Gold Coins. Once you go through the trouble of purchasing coins, you “unlock” the ability to redeem SC. I’m not joking – redemptions are behind a paywall.

I was clearly unimpressed with the opening salvo from BigCashSweeps, so I naturally expected more tomfoolery with the other offers. BigCashSweeps doesn’t disappoint. Each of its additional promos definitely has strings attached, as I’ll explain below:

  • Daily Login: BigCashSweeps offers a daily login bonus (in SB), which grows with every consecutive day you play. It starts at 5 SB on your first day, rising to 6.5 SB after 4 days, and just 8 SB after a week. At no point were any Gold Coins handed out via this bonus, and the amount of SB awarded is scarcely enough to last five minutes. While you can convert SB into SC, you’ll need to purchase coins to do so.
  • Power Up Rewards: If you don’t want to wait a week for your next Lucky Box (which arrives once a week), you can purchase additional ones. Every few boxes you purchase unlocks a couple more “for free”. You’ll get 2,000 GC and 0.10 SC with your first one. The next box costs $4.99 (5,000 GC and 5.99 SC), and then there are two more free before you must buy the next one, and so on. Something I noticed was a typo on the promotion. “Take Deals to Keep Unlocking Thrils!”, and it isn’t the only place where this occurs. This is another sign that BigCashSweeps may not be as professional as it wants to seem.

BigCashSweeps Rewards

  • AMOE: There is a tab called AMOE that should explain how to acquire free SC. Instead, that tab only discusses how you can get coins daily via promotions or purchases, and doesn’t make any mention of a method to claim mail-in Sweeps Coins – another bad sign.
  • VIP Scheme: The final nail in BigSweepsCoins’ promotions comes via its 10-tier VIP scheme. I don’t ordinarily include tables at this juncture, but because of how this VIP scheme works, I must. You can only climb the VIP scheme by purchasing coin packages (Recharge Requirements), and your only rewards are lower redemption fees (and there are two of those) and SC rewards, as detailed below.

Promotions & Bonus Assessment

22 /100
At BigCashSweeps, there’s no such thing as a free lunch, or a free anything
  • There are several promotions
  • You can get increasing numbers of SB by logging in daily
  • All but one of the promotions require you to purchase coins
  • The VIP scheme is an absolute joke
  • The amount of free SB you receive is enough for 5 minutes of gameplay with the lowest possible bet active
  • The AMOE is absent, presumed missing
  • No regular way to acquire GC or SC without purchasing coins

BigCashSweeps Casino-Style Games

BigCashSweeps Games

Leaving aside the promotions, I was eager to see what I could wager SB (and later GC and SC) on. A total of 349 games in the gaming library is small, but not too bad. I’ve played at great sweepstakes casinos with fewer titles. Almost immediately, though, the next red flag emerged. BigCashSweeps is the proud home of Pragmatic Play games, after the developer left the sweepstakes casino market.

Alongside its 95 Pragmatic Play games, BigCashSweeps supports titles from BGaming, Jili, Hacksaw Gaming, PG Soft, and TaDa Gaming. I wasn’t able to get a feel for how fair those games were, but given everything else, I wouldn’t be surprised if the RTP rates have been tampered with. It felt that way when I played one of my favorite Hacksaw slots, Cursed Crypt. Or as BigCashSweeps likes to call it, “Curesd Crypt”. Yes, another type error.

BigCashSweeps advertises slots and live games – but none of the latter are available. Among the available slots, you can choose from classic slots, Megaways games, and Pragmatic Play games. Again, I wouldn’t recommend the latter, as they are likely pirated titles at this point.

The games support GC, SC, and SB stakes. The in-game coin balances don’t display GC, SC, and SB values, which makes it easy to make a mistake and play with the wrong virtual currency.

Online Slots

BigCashSweeps Slot

I’m not recommending you play Pragmatic Play slots, even though their collection includes some great games. Instead, I’ll recommend BigCashSweeps games that are most likely legitimate titles. There are still a few decent classic slots and Megaways games to choose from in this collection. Here are three I played:

  • Cursed Crypt: Benefit from Cursed Positions with random symbols boosting your wins in this ancient Egyptian-themed slot from Hacksaw Gaming, which also offers two free spin mechanics.
  • Lucky Lady Moon Megaways: Opt for highly volatile action, where a wheel of fortune determines your free spin bonus, wilds come with multipliers, and refilling mechanics offer you consecutive wins.
  • Buffalo Win: PG Soft’s Buffalo Win features Infinity Reels. Win multipliers increase every time extra reels are added, along with split symbols, free spins, and stacked wilds – other goodies you can look forward to.
Live Casino

According to BigCashSweep’s library, there should be live dealer casino games there. When I played, there were none, just a blank black screen. Despite accessing the site from different locations, even restricted ones, I was unable to play live games or even see any of them.

Games Assessment

Hacksaw, PG Soft, and BGaming paper over the cracks with decent slots
  • Decent slots from good providers
  • Gameplay is smooth enough
  • Live dealer games are advertised but absent
  • Nothing but slots to play
  • Balances don’t appear in GC, SB, or SC
  • RTP rates don’t seem to add up
  • Still supports Pragmatic Play games, and it shouldn’t

BigCashSweeps Banking

BigCashSweeps Banking

At first glance, who doesn’t want to process purchases and redemptions using options such as PayPal, Cash App, and, according to BigCashSweep’s terms and conditions, cryptocurrencies? All the above are supported at BigCashSweeps, even if they aren’t all redemption options, as detailed in the table below.

What I was unable to find while playing at this sweepstakes casino was any mention of SC playthrough rates. Moreover, the social casino advertises redemption times of 30 seconds. That’s too good to be true. Unfortunately, I never got to a place where I could test this theory, and no redemption times are listed for individual payment providers.

BigCashSweeps Redeem

At just 30 SC, the minimum redemption limit is something I like, and it’s very competitive. Unfortunately, it’s tainted by BigCashSweep’s need for redemption costs. The site claims that redemption fees “may apply”, and that is misleading at best, and an outright lie at worst. They are mandatory. Even scaling the VIP program’s upper echelons won’t get rid of them. They range from 2% to 3%, with surcharges of $0.30 to $0.50 on top. I’ve never seen this before in a trusted sweepstakes casino.

The coin package options immediately stood out to me. You’ll notice that bonuses only apply to Gold Coins, not Sweeps Coins. Secondly, the number of SC you receive is identical to the cost of each package. It felt to me as though I was purchasing Sweeps Coins with Gold Coins thrown in as a bonus, not the other way round. If true, that makes BigCashSweeps a gambling site, and, as such, it definitely isn’t legal in the US.

Payments Assessment

No thanks to purchase to redeem terms and constant redemption fees
  • Plenty of coin packages to choose from
  • Low minimum redemption rate of 30 SC
  • Bonuses seem to apply to GC, not SC
  • It feels as though you’re purchasing Sweeps Coins
  • There’s no real value in the coin packages
  • There are two redemption fees, and you can’t get rid of them
  • You have to purchase coins to unlock redemptions

Is BigCashSweeps Legit?

BigCashSweeps Footer

While I found plenty I didn’t like about this sweepstakes casino, I can’t 100% confirm that it isn’t a legitimate social casino. There are more telltale signs that all is not what it seems, though.

After doing a little digging, I was unable to find any company information. There is no publicly available information, and even the WHOIS data is hidden. I learned that the registrar for the site is GoDaddy and that it operates on a Cloudflare server in San Francisco. It also has an SSL certificate, but that doesn’t ensure fairness or legitimacy.

There’s no mention of responsible gaming tools, and much of the way this sweepstakes casino operates seems more like a gambling site than an actual social casino. It has consistently received bad reviews on Trustpilot, too, from a small player base, which says something.

BigCashSweeps Customer Support

BigCashSweeps offers customer support via live chat. The average response time is about 30 minutes, and that’s much too slow. Some of my requests never got through at all. The support team seldom seemed engaged, as if I were talking to a bot. As no other customer support options are available, there’s little you can do if you find yourself in need of answers.

BigCashSweeps Casino UX

Open BigCashSweeps in your browser, and you’ll notice that it loads in mobile mode – a reduced vertical screen, with plenty of wasted space down the sides. Playing at BigCashSweeps on your desktop device is therefore not recommended. The screen size is just far too small.

BigCashSweeps UX

On mobile devices, the social casino works flawlessly. It’s clearly been designed with mobile gameplay in mind. That said, there are too many pop-ups asking – almost begging – for coin purchases, which looks desperate. Because BigCashSweeps is configured the way it is, there’s little need for a dedicated Android or iOS app.

BigCashSweeps Sister Sites

Without an inkling about who operates BigCashSweeps, there’s no real way to identify any sister sites. I certainly haven’t seen another social casino like this one. Fortunately, there are plenty of more reliable alternatives for you to choose from:

How It Stacks Up

Only desperate players would choose to sign up and play at BigCashSweeps, which likely is their target audience.

Whichever social casino you choose from above will offer you a considerably better experience than this new sweepstakes casino.

Our Experts Verdict

SweepsKings Not Approved

This is one of the few times I’ve ever recommended that readers avoid a sweepstakes casino. There are just too many red flags and alarm bells going off here. If it were a case of redemption fees, Pragmatic Play games, locked redemptions, a lack of company information, or a need to require GC coins to be purchased before free-play is unlocked, I’d take a different standpoint.

All of those issues woven together, coupled with the fact that there are some truly exceptional social casinos at SweepsKings to choose from, mean I do not recommend BigCashSweeps. This social casino goes straight to our blacklist and should be avoided!

FAQs

Is BigCashSweeps a legit social casino?

My gut and experience tell me that it isn’t. The geo-blocks don’t work, there are redemption fees and a requirement to purchase coins before redemptions are granted, a lack of company information, and the presence of illegal games all scream illegitimate, even if I can’t prove it.

Are there any hidden fees on BigCashSweeps redemptions?

Yes. Every single BigCashSweeps redemption requires two fees. You’ll find them on the VIP page, oddly enough.

What gaming options are available at BigCashSweeps?

Slots and that’s about it. Live casino games are advertised, but none are currently supported.

Does BigCashSweeps offer real cash prizes?

Yes. SB can be converted into SC (for redemptions) when you purchase coins, and the minimum redemption rate is 30 SC.

Can I play at BigCashSweeps for free?

Yes - just about. SB (Sweeps Bonus) is used to play games for free. Gold Coins can, too, but you need to purchase at least one package to use them for this purpose, which is poor form.

Does BigCashSweeps have a referral program?

No. BigCashSweeps doesn’t offer a refer-a-friend bonus.
