Punt Social Casino Review

Punt.com is a sweepstakes social casino launched in 2024. It’s owned and operated by Gold Gold Coin LLC, the same people who gave us Chanced Casino back in 2023. Punt is open to adult players across the US and Canada except Idaho, Michigan, Kentucky, Nevada, Washington, and Quebec.

More than 950 games are featured on the site, with Pragmatic Play as the major supplier. They’ve also got some original titles, a collection of exciting live dealer games, and, of course, bonuses to support free play. The platform supports prize redemptions as well.

Punt claims to be America’s No. 1 Social Casino. While I take this with a grain of salt, novelty sweepstakes casinos have wowed me in the past, so I’ve done a full sweep of the platform and its features. Come along as I detail my Punt casino experience and final verdict.

Legal States

You have to be a US or Canadian-based player to play at Punt. However, you won’t be able to participate in this sweepstakes casino from Idaho, Michigan, Kentucky, Nevada, or Washington. Quebec is also restricted. Plus, you need to be at least 18 years old to play, or 19/21 in states where this is the legal age.

How Punt Sweepstakes Casino Works

Punt.com lets you play casino games for free with Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC). Gold Coins are simply for fun gaming. You’ll get them for free as bonuses, but you can purchase GC packages if you like. Sweeps Coins are also for playing games, but when you win SC from gameplay, you can redeem it for real money prizes. Unlike GC, you can only receive SC as bonuses, and Punt has a 3x rollover requirement before you can redeem.

In line with sweepstakes rules, purchases are optional. Punt will help keep your coin wallet in the green with different free bonuses and promos.

Punt Social Casino Bonuses

The first Punt bonus is a no deposit bonus of 10,000 Free Gold Coins and 2 SC. At first I didn’t see any mention of a bonus, but that’s because the casino unlocks the bonus only after completing the verification process. After verification, Punt also requires players to perform a few actions before crediting the welcome reward.

In order to claim the bonus, you need to do the following:

1. Head to Profile>Offers and verify your account
2. On the bonus page, fill in a few details in order to enter the bonus giveaway
3. Follow 3 – 5 of Punt.com’s social media accounts
4. Receive the bonus code to claim your free SC

The Punt promo code will be made available when you complete the steps and you can enter it under the Offers section to release the free coins. Only players 21 or older can claim the offer. In addition to the new player bonus, you can also receive daily and hourly offers, join social media giveaways, and benefit from the Punt VIP program.

• Purchase Bonus – Punt doesn’t offer any discounted purchase deals, but you’ll get between 5 and 600 complimentary free SC, whenever you purchase a bundle.
• Social Media Contests – Various contests and giveaways are held on Punt’s social media pages. They are usually available for a short time, and actively engaging through likes, sharing, and comments increases your chances of winning.
• Daily Login Offers – 0.10 free SC is offered as an Hourly bonus. Also, whenever your Gold Coin balance is below 10, the Top Up Feature activates, and you can claim more free GC.
• Mail-in Bonus – Sending a request by postal mail is another way to earn free SC at this casino. You’ll find the details and requirements under the Sweeps Rules page.
• Challenges – Punt casino’s slot challenges offer more ways to win and ignite your competitive spirit. One challenge available during my Punt review was “first to hit 10,000x with minimum 10 GC play on Twilight Princess”, with a special prize of 6,000 GC.
• Affiliate Program – Instead of a traditional referral bonus, Punt offers an affiliate program where you receive a commission for every player who signs up and plays through your links. The commission is offered in the form of Gold Coins + Sweeps Cash.
• VIP Program – Punt casino provides a VIP program designed to reward regular players. The tiers on the VIP program include Copper, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum (I – V), and Diamond (I – II). Perks range from rakeback to level-up bonuses and exclusive promos.

Punt Casino-Style Games

Similar to its sister site, Chanced Casino, Punt has a similar number of games. I found more than 950 casino games. More than 95% of which were slots. There were a handful of table games, including blackjack, roulette, and baccarat, and live dealer variants, too, which I didn’t expect because of how rare they are at social casinos.

Pragmatic Play, BGaming, and Fantasma are the software suppliers for the slots collection, while Beter Live contributes to the live casino options. These are all pretty well-known developers, so there’s no question the quality on display is top-tier. Punt also offers a few original games, some of which were arcade-style.

Generally, there’s a good variety, but the categorization could be better as I found that software-based table games and live dealer games were lumped in together. Same for scratchcards and some other non-slot games that were thrown in under the Featured Slots category. There were no fish table games, meaning they are yet to embrace the latest craze in social casino gaming.

As long as you’re signed in, you can view the full lobby. You’ll have to launch the games to get info on gameplay and other specs, but the good news is you can access all Punt offerings even on a zero balance.

For redemptions, this casino supports ACH and Instant Bank Transfer. The redemption rate is 1 USD for 1 SC, and the minimum you can redeem is 100 SC. As I mentioned under the bonus section, SC bonuses must be played through 3x before you can redeem them.

Payment Options Review

You can buy coins by clicking on Wallet and choosing your preferred bundle. You can redeem via the Wallet tab as well. Cash prizes will be credited back to the same method used in depositing unless this is not possible, in which case it can be paid to a different bank account. Although Punt says it could take up to 10 business days, my experience was a 3-day turnaround.

Created for mobile play, Punt social casino offers a very streamlined design with a straightforward layout. There are various links to help you find what you’re looking for and a search bar, too. It works on desktops just like it does on mobiles, save for customization changes and where buttons are located. And it’s highly responsive on either device. Punt is not available as an app, only as a website, but boasts the usability of an app.

I liked the ‘Recent’ feature that shows your past betting activity and the option to mark games you like as “Favorites.” The platform also provides a running list of recent winners and the games they’ve played, which is a great way to discover what games are most popular among players.

How It Stacks Up

Punt’s offerings are mid-level, with a few highlights here and there. It has a lot of catching up to do compared to Stake.us which is an excellent all-rounder in the sweepstakes casino space, or sites like Sweeptastic, NoLimitCoins, and Mega Bonanza that offer bigger welcome bonuses and many more games.

In their defense, these other sites have been out for longer. Punt is a new face that does enough to please casual gamers with a decent collection of slots, a variety of packages, and regular bonuses to enjoy free play.

Our Experts Verdict

This is the kind of site where I’d say they do a good job for a new casino. Many social casinos benefit from the fact that players are excited to try out new legit platforms. But their newness means they haven’t gotten around to fine-tuning their services yet, and don’t offer the same long-term engagement more established casinos provide. Essentially, Punt suffers from its novelty within the casino scene.

Throughout my review, Punt didn’t do badly in any aspect. But there were no stand-out moments either. They have unique bonuses, but offers are not too generous. The games collection is of good quality, and 950 titles are similar to what others offer. Purchases and redemptions run smoothly, but the payment variety is weak. While the user experience is great and mobile-focused, it’s nothing remarkable.

The most memorable thing during my experience was the fact that I had to verify my account before receiving a bonus or buying coins. So, there are no questions about it being a safe place to play. My verdict is that it’s a good option for casual gameplay, but I don’t see them outperforming apex casinos like Stake.us or Mega Bonanza anytime soon. I suggest you try our top-rated sites instead, especially if you’re looking to start off with hefty coin bonuses.
