Gaming Innovation Group (GiG), known for its turnkey sports betting and online casino solutions, launched its sweepstakes software called SweepX at the end of 2024. With a market value of $5.6 billion, it’s not surprising that the Malta-based iGaming platform provider wants a slice of the sweepstakes casino pie.
GiG partnered with Primero and launched its first sweepstakes casino, Gold Rush City, in January 2025. However, according to CEO Richard Carter, Gold Rush City is just the beginning. GiG already has plans to link up with a successful crypto affiliate and a well-known European iGaming business to launch two more sweepstakes casinos by Q2. The names of the partners and sites have not been released yet.
Carter said that SweepX has received an overwhelmingly positive response and positions GiG as a market leader in the space, helping the company unlock new growth drivers.
