Although no release date has been set, I’m looking forward to the launch of a new VGW Limited sweepstakes casino brand, LuckyLand Casino. Not to be confused with the already live LuckyLand Slots, this sweepstakes casino is an entirely different site where you’ll be able to play casino-style games for free with a new sign-up bonus.

At the moment, nearly everything that matters is well under wraps. Trusting VGW’s experience and reputation, I expect to see the quality of Chumba and Global Poker combined, but I also hope to find more innovative promotions and, hopefully, new games and exclusives.

The pre-registration form indicates that only users who are at least 21 years old can sign up for a free profile and play.

How LuckyLand Casino Works

Beginners may be confused about how LuckyLand Casino operates because there aren’t any mentions of “no purchases required” on the main page. However, the Terms clearly state that “the games and platform do not offer real money gambling, and no actual money is required to play.”

The only concrete information I unveiled is that AMOE bonuses award 5 Sweeps Coins per request. Clause D of the Sweeps Rules’ Section 3.2 outlines detailed instructions you should follow when preparing your mail-in bonus letters.

Although there isn’t much information about the benefits of pre-registering (beyond being notified when the casino goes live), all newcomers who join the waiting list will likely be offered a no deposit bonus and a first-purchase deal.

LuckyLand Slots is the only VGW-owned sweepstakes casino with a VIP program, and even though there are no mentions of loyalty schemes in LuckyLand Casino’s T&Cs or Sweeps Rules, the similarities between the two may go beyond just the name, or at least that’s what I’m hoping for.

LuckyLand Casino-Style Games

First Look Into The Lobby

I considered postponing my preliminary review of LuckyLand Casino until more information about its gaming catalog became available. Still, anyone even remotely familiar with the casino’s owner already knows who VGW’s main software provider partners are.

LuckyLand Casino’s sister sites are powered by around 20 studios, including a mix of established developers like Playtech, 4ThePlayer, ReelPlay, and 1×2 Network, and more niche providers like Reloaded Gaming, Revolver, Atlantic Digital, and PearFiction.

Chumba already offers over 200 slots, about a dozen RNG tables, several instant win titles, a few bingo games, and live social casino-style games. I hope LuckyLand Casino will be modeled after Chumba’s portfolio, because other brands offer slightly lighter libraries.

I wouldn’t count on LuckyLand Casino having a colossal library immediately after launch, but I assume they’ll start with popular slots, such as Hypernova, Stampede Fury, and Atlantis. If VGW decides to port Chumba’s exclusives to LuckyLand Casino’s library, we may be treated to hits like The Last Empress, Monster Spins, Gem Huntress, and Big Bucks Bison 10K Ways.

Although the exact list of supported purchase methods is yet to be revealed, I saw mentions of cards and Apple Pay in one support article in the Help Center.

A different article outlines that credit and debit cards are suitable for purchases, while bank transfers are redemption-only methods. I’ll update my review when the site officially launches and when I get an opportunity to personally verify all supported banking options.

If VGW decides to onboard the same gateways as Chumba uses, we should also expect to see Skrill, Paysafecard, and Trustly. We’ll wait for the site’s launch and update our review.

The screenshot of the Coin Shop above tells me that this feature will be simple to use. I doubt we’ll see these exact figures; bigger offers will likely be featured, especially if LuckyLand Casino hopes to compete with its sister sites, but time will tell.

According to the first draft of the casino’s Sweeps Rules, you’ll be able to redeem a minimum of 50 played Sweeps Coins for a cash prize, with a standard daily cap of $10,000 ($5,000 for players from Florida).

The T&Cs, however, don’t mention any redemption timeframes, but they do state that Sweeps Coins remain valid for 60 days and will expire if you haven’t logged in at least once during this window.

Is LuckyLand Casino Legit?

While I’d normally question the legitimacy of an upcoming sweepstakes casino that reveals next to nothing about its operation, the MGA license held by Virtual Gaming Worlds easily explains why LuckyLand Casino is an exception.

Most sweepstakes casinos in the U.S. operate legally without a license from local or offshore regulators. Yet, VGW holds one with a Tier-one entity, rivaled only by the strictest regulators like the NJDGE and MGCB. This, and the fact that VGW collaborates with trusted providers, such as Slotmill, Relax Gaming, Playtech, and Red Tiger, is reason enough to proclaim LuckyLand Casino a legitimate, though unreleased, social and sweepstakes casino.

Company and Safety Review

The only smudge on an otherwise perfect legitimacy score in this scenario is the fact that VGW hasn’t talked about LuckyLand Casino enough. I’ve read the latest media releases on the company’s website, and these publications do talk about important milestones.

VGW launched the Social Gaming Leadership Alliance; it announced its contract with 23XI Racing, and Global Poker partnered with Michael Phelps. However, there’s not a single mention of LuckyLand Casino, and it’s not listed under its Brands.

On the upside, the footer of LuckyLand Casino’s website is well-designed and full of valuable info about the company and all involved VGW branches (VGW Luckyland Inc., VGW Malta Holding Limited, VGW Group, etc.).

LuckyLand Casino Customer Support

The only support method you can rely on at the moment is the Help Center. Just tap on the Contact Us link in the footer to access it. Even though FAQs are listed in the same row, the link appeared broken at the time I began reviewing LuckyLand Casino.

The articles in the Help Center mainly discuss the basics. If you’d like to learn more about the differences between Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins, or if you need instructions about account verification, the helpdesk is where you’ll find them.

I’d take information about highly specific, technical details with a grain of salt, though. I found a few conflicting pieces related to banking methods (one article mentions Apple Pay, others exclusively list cards and online banking).

LuckyLand Casino UX

The announcement page looks squeaky clean, and I’m glad that VGW still uses its signature cartoon-style graphics mixed with vibrant colors. However, this page doesn’t reveal anything about the user interface.

Looking at UIs at Chumba and Global Poker, we should expect a neatly organized lobby with beginner-friendly filters and genre-based compartmentalization. However, I’d refrain from making any assumptions about how the site will work on mobile devices until I get to test it on my desktop PC.

Needless to say, there are no native apps yet. Chumba has a Lite app for both iOS and Android, while Global Poker runs like clockwork on all mobile operating systems without dedicated apps, and LuckyLand Slots has an APK file for Android users.

LuckyLand Casino Sister Sites

LuckyLand will become the fourth brand operated by Virtual Gaming Worlds, following in the footsteps of Chumba, Global Poker, and LuckyLand Slots. Each of these three social gaming platforms is a world unto itself, with their charms and drawbacks.

Chumba is one of the longest-running sweepstakes casinos, Global Poker is a social gaming platform focused on online poker cash games and tournaments, while LuckyLand Slots leans more toward arcade-style social casinos, with the addition of cash prizes being available.
