June has been one of the most active months we’ve seen in the sweepstakes casino space for some time, with a mix of new state-level restrictions, fresh casino launches (like Sweepolis, pictured), and Independence Day promotions all landing at once.
In this round-up, we break down the main changes players need to be aware of and add some tips and recommendations for your sweepstakes play at the end too.
Upcoming State Closures Due to New Bills
2026 has been an interesting year for the sweepstakes casino vertical. After five states definitively banned sweeps in 2025 (including California, New York, and New Jersey), some analysts predicted similar seismic events in 2026. And while five jurisdictions have again managed to get anti-sweeps bills over the line this year, the sizes of these states are not comparable to those from last year.
In 2026 we’ve seen bans signed off in Indiana, Maine, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Tennessee. However, when viewed in context, these states do not match the overall market size of last year’s closures. Also, Louisiana already had essentially no legitimate sweepstakes casinos operating there before 2026 even began (thanks to a wave of cease-and-desist letters in 2025).
Still, for players in the affected states, the bans are still a huge blow and it’s important to be aware of the start dates of the new laws. Many users will have already been contacted by casinos they’re signed up to as brands exit the state, but we’ll list the official start dates for each ban below:
- Indiana: Ban effective July 1, 2026
- Maine: Ban effective July 14, 2026
- Oklahoma: Ban effective November 1, 2026
- Louisiana: Ban effective August 1, 2026
- Tennessee: Ban effective upon signing (May 22, 2026)
If you’re a resident of one of these states, make sure you withdraw any remaining balances and check directly with the casinos you use to confirm how they are handling account closures and redemptions before access is fully restricted.
New and Upcoming Sweepstakes Casino Launches
June has also brought a big wave of new sweepstakes casino launches with plenty of those brands already reviewed here at SweepsKings. I’ll list our latest reviews along with the welcome bonus for each – if you spot one you like the look of, click through to the review and take a look:
- Sweepolis: 75,000 GC + 3 SC
- CoinsMania: 1M GC + 1 SC
- Midas Jackpots (relaunch): 20,000 MC + 2 SC
- MySweepz: 125,000 GC + 2 SC
- Fortune Purple: Up to 5M GC + 100 SC
- RegalCoins: 100,000 GC + 1 SC
- Grand Fortune Club: 50,000 GC + 0.1 SC
- JackRoyals: 100,000 GC + 2 SC
- Spinly: 100,000 GC + 15 SC
Then, Wisespin, Bare Knuckle Sweeps, and ZumbaCards have recently gone live, with our team working on reviews currently. WiseSpin has a reported 150% welcome bonus and a strong focus on slots, while Bare Knuckle Sweeps is offering a larger library of over 1,500 games alongside a 3 SC sign-up bonus.
Meanwhile, ZumbaCards is jumping on the card collection trend that has allowed Card Crush and Albumza to flourish.
Other expected and live social casinos being monitored/reviewed by our experts include AmazonJackpots, Whale.us, BrunoReels, Evelyn Casino, DoubleSpin, DragonPhoenix, SweepResort, and SweepnStake.com. We’re closely monitoring these brands and will add reviews for them very soon.
So even with the new state-level restrictions we mentioned above, June has shown that the sweepstakes casino sector is still incredibly active and resilient, with plenty of new launches (and relaunches) despite the regulatory pressure.
Tips for Players
With so many new changes, it’s easy to get caught up in the pace of the market. However, it’s worth being selective rather than signing up to every new sweepstakes casino as it appears. In fact, waiting for our full reviews and verdicts can help you avoid weaker, or even dodgy platforms and focus on the best offerings.
For players in states where bans are coming into effect (especially Indiana, Maine, Oklahoma, and Tennessee), it’s also important to make sure any remaining Sweeps Coins are redeemed in time before full closure. Operators will generally be providing notice periods, but the ban start dates certainly vary, and so do withdrawals depending on the brand. Make sure to monitor your inbox or get in touch with support if unsure.
Finally, with 4th of July/Independence Day sweepstakes promotions already starting to roll out, it may be worth saving some of your budget for early July. This period brings some of the biggest and best bonuses of the year, from boosted welcome offers to special tournaments and unlockable prize calendars.
In fact, we’ve gathered all the best offers on this page to help you get the most out of your 4th of July celebrations, whether you’re relaxing at home, grilling outdoors, or just enjoying some time off with a few Independence Day slots and sweepstakes action.
