We received an update from Moonspin regarding changes to payment methods on the platform, and it’s something all registered users need to pay attention to: cryptocurrencies and Skrill are being removed and replaced with ACH transfers.

Despite the above messaging that this will lead to an improved experience, the change is a clear downgrade, especially for players who signed up at Moonspin for the cryptocurrency options. Also, there’s no reason given as to why the change has been made.

Accordingly, we’ve downgraded our rating for Moonspin in our review. There’s no doubt ACH is secure, but it’s slow and inconvenient for many players. To offer this as the sole method of payment and redemption makes Moonspin one of the least versatile sweepstakes platforms in terms of banking options now.
