With Mattel’s latest launch of the first-ever UNO Social Club at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, speculation is heating up that UNO could be coming to sweepstakes casinos.

After its successful debut at the Palms, Mattel isn’t resting on its laurels. The game maker plans on opening UNO Socials Clubs throughout the country.

UNO was created by Merle Robbins in 1971 in Ohio and later sold to Mattel in 1996. Over 150 million copies of the game have been sold, and you can find it in 80% of American households.
In Uno, you match cards based on colors and numbers with the goal of getting rid of all your cards. There are also action cards like Reverse, Skip, and Draw Two, which add a bit of complexity. Between 2 and 10 players can play a round.
UNO Is Already Digital
Mattel doesn’t have to start from scratch if it wants to bring UNO to the social casino space.
