ToraTora is closing down by the end of January, less than a year into operations.
Members of the sweepstakes casino recently received an email relaying the news:
“We are writing to inform you that ToraTora Casino will permanently cease operations on January 23, 2026. From this date onward, the website will no longer be accessible.
Effective immediately, purchases and AMOE (Alternative Method of Entry) are no longer available.”
The message went on to let players know they can still play and redeem Sweepstakes Coins (SC) up till the January 23 date. However, as we always say in these situations, any redemption requests should be submitted as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
There had been reports that ToraTora would be pulling out of Illinois on January 10, seemingly based on an email from the site itself. However, it’s now clear that ToraTora will withdraw from all remaining states by the end of January.
Launched in May 2025, the platform never managed to establish itself as a big name in a saturated sweepstakes casino space. It mainly offered slots, along with a handful of other titles, but the lobby and supplier list failed to grow to levels that could rival the more established brands.
ToraTora’s exit comes at a time when competition is intensifying and regulatory pressure is building across multiple US states, making it harder for newer or under-funded sweepstakes casinos to survive.
