A1-Casino is a sweepstakes gaming platform that allows users in 40 states to play free games and win real money prizes.

The casino was launched in 2025 by HGM Technologies Inc. and started off with barebones offerings. However, brick by brick, they’ve amassed over 1,000 games in a variety that spans slots, table games, scratchies, instant win games, and more. New players get 100,000 GC for free with welcome package deals available for several days after registering. There’s no free SC bonus, though, so the casino misses one of the main attractions for sweeps players.

First things first, A1-Casino accepts players from the US and Canada except if you’re located in Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, California, Washington, or Quebec (Canada). You need to be in a legal state and be 18+ to join this casino. For promotional play, you must be at least 21 years old.

How A1-Casino Works

A1 is a sweepstakes casino, which means it works differently from traditional online casinos. The casino doesn’t take deposits or use real money bets. Instead, it uses two virtual currencies Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins for gameplay.

Here’s what you need to know about these currencies:

Also, all your SC bonuses need to be played through 1x before you can redeem them.

A1-Casino dropped 100,000 GC into my account instantly once I signed up. The casino’s advertised welcome offer, though, is a 200% welcome bonus of 100,000 GC + 20 SC. This is a first purchase deal offered for $10 and is one leg of a three-part welcome offer. On the second and third days after signing up, I also got the following deals:

• Day 2: 100,000 GC + 26.57 SC for $19.98 (133% bonus)
• Day 3: 100,000 GC + 37.47 SC for $29.98 (125% bonus)

That’s a combined 458% bonus in total for new players. But again, purchases are optional, so you can choose to take advantage of A1-Casino’s deals or not.

Bonuses Review

As a sweepstakes casino, certain bonuses are indispensable, like the daily bonus and mail-in bonus. There are a few additional promotions you can also claim at this site.

• Daily Streak Bonus: This is a 7-day progressive bonus offering 1,000 GC and up to 0.4 SC by the seventh day. You need to make a GC purchase on at least four out of the seven days to claim the full accumulated bonus of 7,000 GC + 1.75 SC.
• Purchase Bonus: Every day, A1-Casino offers a special purchase deal available for that day only. Just click “Top Up” in the lobby to get it. The casino also offers bonus SC on top of any regular GC package you buy.
• Bonus Wheel: To spin the bonus wheel, you need to play SC games first. A variety of GC and SC prizes are up for grabs when you do.
• AMOE Bonus: You can request 5 free SC from this casino via a handwritten postal mail. The instructions for the AMOE (Alternative Mode of Entry) bonus are outlined in the T&Cs page.
• Referral Bonus: Share your referral link with your friends and receive 10 SC for every one who signs up using your link and makes a Gold Coin purchase.
• VIP Program: As a new player, you’ll start off at tier 0, also known as VIP Red. As you play and earn points, you can climb through the 10-rank system.
• Tournaments: The casino is working on bringing tournament rewards, but at the time of this A1-Casino review, you can already play featured games that are part of the tournament and rank on the leaderboard for bragging rights.

A1-Casino have not limited themselves to slots like some new sweepstakes sites do. The casino has fish games, virtual and live dealer tables, live game shows, instant win games, keno, and more. There’s also a Bet with Streamers offering included in the library.

This casino has thousands of games overall. From what I could find about the software developers, over 40 studios are featured, including NetEnt, Evolution, Big Time Gaming, Red Tiger, Nolimit City, Hacksaw Gaming, 3 Oaks, and more.

The main lobby features plenty of categories, including New Games, Hold & Wins, Megaways, and Big Wins. There are unique game categories like Best of 3 Oaks and Hacksaw Hits. You can also find filters for provider and volatility.

As I browsed, though, I noticed inconsistencies in the grouping of games. Many titles didn’t appear under their category, and I only found them when I used the search function.

Games and Software Review

A1-Casino hides its game lobby from non-registered players. So you need to sign up to view the range of games. Once you’re registered, there are no locked games. You can launch and play any title right away. The one thing missing is game previews. So there’s no information on RTP, max win, or coin entry limits beforehand.

After launching and playing a few games, I realized the limits were usually from 0.10 SC or 0.20 SC, and RTPs were usually around 92% and above.

Purchases are optional, but again, you won’t be able to play with Sweeps Coins if you don’t buy a package. Fortunately, packages are affordable, starting from $4.99. You can use debit and credit cards, GPay, Apple Pay, or crypto to pay.

At this social casino, redemption is possible once you’ve met the redemption terms and conditions. This includes completing a 1x playthrough on your SC bonuses, reaching a minimum 100 SC redeemable limit, and completing KYC verification. You can redeem via Bank Transfer.

The process of purchasing coins at A1-Casino is smooth and friendly. You need to complete your profile details before you make a purchase, but it’s just a matter of entering a few basic details and then completing the transaction.

Each SC holds a $1 value at the point of redemption, and the maximum you can redeem in a single request is $1,000. It’s also worth noting that if you’re playing from selected states, rewards are capped at $5,000. That’s the most you’ll be able to claim from any single play.

Is A1-Casino Legit?

No purchase is necessary at A1-Casino, and you don’t need real money bets to play – that’s pretty much what makes a legit gaming platform in the sweepstakes space. Licenses are not required for sweeps casinos, and A1-Casino doesn’t have one. Instead, the site uses strong TLS encryption, KYC verification, and a self-exclusion RSG tool.

Even though there’s no RNG certificate available on the site, there are some of the biggest devs in the business partnering up with the casino, which shows this isn’t just a scam site with manipulated games.

Some gaps still remain about the site’s, though. Most notably, the operating company, HGM Technologies Inc, doesn’t have much public information, which raises questions about transparency. Email turnaround is within 24 hours and comes in handy for you to follow up on requests. I found email to be more reliable than reaching out via the casino’s social media channels. Unfortunately, there’s no FAQ page or help centre at A1-Casino.

A1-Casino has a regular layout with a sidebar to the left and a top-line navigation. The site, however, does feel very clunky. On desktops, especially, tabs and icons often hesitate before responding. The site buffered for a long time while verifying my email and phone number, and going deep into the library, I discovered that several game thumbnails were duplicated.

Switching over to mobile, the UI sometimes feels a touch behind, but the experience is much smoother with more responsiveness and faster loading. There’s no app for now, but I concluded that the casino must have been designed with this category of players in mind.

There were also cataloging flaws where categories didn’t reveal all relevant games, making it harder to find certain titles. To their merit, A1-Casino’s interface has some useful bits, such as the provider and volatility filters. You can also add games to your personal favorites.

How It Stacks Up

A1-Casino has a mix of games that’ll suit most players, so that’s where it has an advantage over sites like Crown Coins and LoneStar, which have more compact libraries. Elsewhere, it’s not yet polished enough to compete. Major knocks include the lack of an SC bonus on sign up, the underwhelming UI experience, and the lack of transparency, which the competition excels in.

Our Experts Verdict

If I’m to give an honest review of A1-Casino, the site has too many gaps for the Kings to confidently recommend.

It has a few great things going on, like an impressive catalog of games, multiple welcome purchase deals over several days, good site security, even self-exclusion options.

On the other hand, there’s still many aspects that look and feel like a work in progress, from the inconsistent game categories to the GC only sign up bonus, underdeveloped VIP program, and incomplete support. The site needs a polish overall, and since it’s still relatively new, we’re holding out hope that it’ll fine-tune its features in the future.
