Stimi Sweepstakes Sportsbook Review

I went into Stimi expecting a lightweight social sportsbook, but it turned out to have a lot more going on under the hood. The platform is young, but the rollout feels confident with deep markets, steady odds, and a clean app that doesn’t fight you.

I spent a lot of time reviewing this platform, mostly because I really enjoyed my time there. It’s not perfect. The AMOE situation needs fixing, the support system being Discord-only is a hurdle, and I wouldn’t mind a few more soccer leagues.

But the core experience, the props, the futures, the odds, and the user interface are genuinely strong for both casual and serious players.

Legal States

You only need to be 18+ and reside in a legal state to create a Stimi account and start making picks. The good thing is that the platform is available in 35+ US states, with California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, and Washington as the exceptions.

How Stimi Works

Stimi is a social sportsbook, and like similar platforms, it uses a dual-currency setup. If you’ve played at a sweepstakes casino before, you shouldn’t have a problem getting along with Stimi.

First, you have Stimi Coins that are non-redeemable. You only use them for fun play and can either receive them as a bonus or purchase them. They have no value.

Then there’s Stimi Cash, the currency that can turn into real prizes once you meet the playthrough rules. However, unlike Stimi Coins, you can’t purchase Stimi Cash directly and can only receive it as a bonus for buying Stimi Coins or through promotions.

So first things first, there’s no true no purchase bonus at Stimi. You don’t get a free test-run the moment you sign up. Instead, Stimi lets you choose from three welcome bonuses:

• STIMI50: With this promo code, you unlock $50 in Free Picks when you sign up and make a $20 purchase.
• STIMI100: This one kicks in with a $50 purchase and awards $100 in Free Picks. The bonus is issued as four separate $25 picks.
• STIMIMATCH: This gives you a 100% purchase match up to $250. Whatever you spend, up to that limit, Stimi matches it in Free Pick tokens.

Free Picks are like the free bets you get at real money books. You can use them to play, and if your pick is successful, you get your return, excluding the free pick amount. If the play fails, you lose nothing, as only the free picks amount is removed.

You have to enter one of the codes when signing up, but if you’re like me and missed it during registration, simply reach out to customer support on Discord before purchasing any package. They’ll let you choose a bonus and apply it to your account. You also have seven days from signing up to claim and use your free picks. The good news is that winnings from free picks have no playthrough requirement and are redeemable immediately.

• Daily bonus: You can collect 1,000 Stimi Coins and 1 Stimi Cash on daily logins.
• Mail-in bonus: Stimi pays 2 Stimi Cash for every approved AMOE request. However, for some reason, Stimi blanked out the address players are supposed to send the post to. This is a bit sketchy, and we’ll be checking to see if anything changes.
• Referral bonus: When a friend joins with your code and spends $20, they receive 50 Stimi Cash in Free Picks, and you get 25 Stimi Cash for the intro.
• Social media giveaways: Stimi is pretty active on Instagram and Discord, where they share lots of promo codes for major events like the Super Bowl. There’s a giveaway channel on their Discord server; you should follow it as updates are posted weekly.

When I checked the sports list on Stimi, the first thing that stood out was how wide it runs for a sweepstakes sportsbook. You get the major US leagues like the NFL, NBA, NCAAB, and NHL, but the menu doesn’t stop there.

Tennis is covered by ATP and WTA, combat sports by UFC, Boxing, and PFL, soccer fans get the English Premier League, and there are even niche picks like the Poland TT Elite Series Men. There’s also a Stimi Specials section that rotates extra markets and fun angles; however, it was blank during my time at the site.

The NBA section is where I spent the most time, and it’s packed. You get the usual game lines, but the long-term markets are all there too. NBA Championship, Conference Winners, Division Winners, Win Totals, and Play‑In chances are available, plus award markets like MVP, Rookie, Defensive Player, Most Improved, Sixth Man, and more.

It goes even deeper when you open specific matchups. I pulled up Wizards vs. Cavaliers, and the main lines were posted with the Cavs at -18.0 and the total at 237.5, but the alternate lines stretched far. You can move the spread from -12.5 to -23.5 on the Cleveland side, and the totals run from 222.5 all the way to 253.5. So you have enough room to play according to your style.

There’s also a player props section, with markets for points, threes, rebounds, assists, combos, and double-doubles. You can take Donovan Mitchell over 27.5 points, James Harden under 21.5, or Sam Merrill over 2.5 threes. Even the long-shot props are there.

If you, like me, love making picks during live games, Stimi also has you covered, though you’ll be limited to major markets like moneylines and spreads.

Stimi offers a wide range of coin bundles, starting at $2 for 2 Stimi Cash and 2,500 Stimi Coins. You also have $5 and $10 packages, with available bundles giving you the equivalent in Stimi Cash, no extras. The highest package costs $250 and gets you 1,000,000 Stimi Coins with 250 Stimi Cash as a reward.

Payment Options Review

Stimi uses Soap Pay as its payment provider, which means you’ll be taken to a third-party page to select between credit/debit card and instant bank transfer as your preferred option for coin purchases.

Redemptions are not as flexible as most players would like. The 50 Stimi Cash redemption limit after a 1x playthrough is decent, but the 250 SC per week limit is quite tight. You also have only bank transfer as a redemption option, and the name on that bank account must match the name on your Stimi profile.

To purchase a coin package, simply click the Shop button on the bottom tray menu, and all the bundles will be displayed. For redemptions, click Accounts in the same menu, then choose Redeem Stimi Cash from the list. You can expect to receive your rewards within 24 hours after the request is processed, and according to Stimi, that can take up to three days.

Stimi appears to be a legitimate social sportsbook. It is owned by PropX Incorporated and led by co-founders Varun S. and Andy Hong.

The company is based in New York, and while there isn’t much information about it available online, Stimi is backed by top organizations such as Venture Capital Properties and Orrick, one of the world’s largest law firms.

Stimi only offers players one reliable way to get help, and that’s through its Discord server. You have to join the server and create a ticket from the Stimi support channel to connect with an agent. There’s also the general help channel, where you can send out your complaint and have fellow players offer their help.

Exclusive Discord customer support is far from ideal, especially for casual players who might not be familiar with the workings of the app. However, you can be guaranteed instant and helpful responses 24/7, and that’s more than many other sweepstakes sites can offer.

Stimi has a web app that’s as simple as it is good. You won’t have much trouble navigating it through your browser because the menus are clear, and the black theme means every option is clearly visible.

There’s the Home tab, which lets you browse different leagues and their markets, the My Picks page for Open and Settled picks, and the Shop for coin purchases. For every other feature on the platform, including redemptions, the Accounts page has you covered.

Accessibility Review

Stimi has both Android and iOS apps, with the latter rated 4.8 on the App Store. I checked it out on my iPhone 15 Pro, and it’s basically the same as the web app, just compressed for a smaller screen. The bottom tray with the four options was there, and I could view my coin balance in the top right corner.

How It Stacks Up

Stimi might not be the best around, which is harsh to expect of it at this stage, but it certainly holds its own against competition. Sportzino is the all-in-one option with 20+ sports, esports, and virtuals, so it naturally covers more ground. It also offers a massive no purchase bonus, which beats Stimi’s no purchase offer of… nothing.

As for sites like Kickr and ReBet, they are more focused on casino-style gaming, so you get to enjoy a more complete social sportsbooks experience on Stimi. Onyx Odds focuses on collegiate sports, while Novig runs a betting-exchange model that feels completely different from the usual social sportsbook layout.

Our Experts Verdict

After spending time on Stimi, I can say the platform has a strong foundation, with deep props, steady odds, and a clean user interface that keeps the experience stress-free. The zero-playthrough Free Picks are also a big plus, and the app feels more polished than most new sweepstakes books.

But there are clear gaps. The missing AMOE address needs to be fixed, there should be a no purchase bonus, and relying on Discord as the only support channel won’t work for everyone. Those are the little things that can discourage a player from signing up.

The good thing is that the platform has its fundamentals in place, and it won’t take a lot to level up. All in all, Stimi is worth keeping in your rotation. It’s not the biggest around, but it’s one of the cleaner ones with lots of markets to enjoy.
