First of all, you’ve got a 5×3 set-up. So, nothing crazy here, and the layout should feel familiar to anyone who has spun a reel or two. As I said earlier, the game offers 20 standard paylines, running left to right, and Wild symbols can substitute for everything except the scatter symbol – fairly standard stuff.

Sweeps players can set their bet as low as 0.20 Sweeps Coins and as high as 80 Sweeps Coins. The UI is easy to follow – press the “+” button to select your bet amount, press Auto if you wish to play and watch, and hit the big arrow button on the right to spin. Naturally, for a test, I chose to spin using Gold Coins, rather than my Sweeps Coins tally. I started out with 7,500 Gold Coins at McLuck.

Right off the bat, volatility is certainly high. I went dozens or more spins without a single result but would then win 200 or so GC when I finally hit. A lot of my bigger hits came from using a Wild to complete paylines, usually netting 150-200 GC from the minimum 70 GC spin. The smallest wins would be around 35 GC.

The Lightning Ladder looked a little daunting at first. It requires about 29 coins to reach the Mini Jackpot, but then I fell quite short on my first attempt, yet still netted 4,500 GC in the process.

However, I didn’t reach 200 spins, eventually burning through my bankroll after 180 spins. I did reattempt, this time choosing to Bonus Buy mid-session, and turned another 7,500 GC into 22,103 GC.
