Depending on what part of the site you look at, 4Cx has a different list of restricted states.

However, taken from their Sweeps Policy page, they list that they are open to all users aged 19+ that do not reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Connecticut, Colorado, Delaware, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, Tennessee, Washington, Alaska, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Dakota or Ohio.

How 4Cx Social Sportsbook Works

4Cx is a free-to-play sports betting site that works off of the sweepstakes model. What this means is that whenever you place a bet, you’ll have two options for how you wish to play. With their Coins currency, you’ll be able to bet in their play-for-fun mode. Meanwhile, by using the 4C Cash, you’ll be able to play in their promotional mode, which gives you the chance to win real cash prizes.

One thing to keep in mind though is that 4C Cash cannot be bought directly. And instead, you’ll only be able to acquire 4C Cash through bonuses — like those you get for signing up, or as a free gift when you purchase Coins. With the free 4C Cash, you’ll then be able to make a bet through promotional play and redeem your winnings once you have at least 50 4C Cash.

The betting options at 4Cx vary daily. As of writing, they currently only have five sports available — but that’s mainly because 4Cx doesn’t show sports and leagues that are not currently in season or do not have a game upcoming.

To be honest, I’m not a fan of this. If an event isn’t high profile enough, you typically won’t get the option to bet on it until it’s one or two days out. And if you’re betting on a small game, there’s a degree of uncertainty about whether or not it will be available.

Props and futures are supported to a very small extent. However, for the most part, betting at 4Cx is restricted to the classic trio of moneyline, spread, and total.

But it’s not all bad. Because 4Cx operates off of a peer-to-peer betting structure — meaning that rather than betting against the house, you bet against other players and are able to set your own odds. And so while definitely not beginner-friendly, if you know your stuff, you can make some serious money.

Playing at 4Cx is always free. However, players who want to take their sweeps sports betting experience to the next level can purchase Coin packages that include free 4C Cash.

Payment Options Review

Before you can make a purchase or a redemption, you’ll need to complete their KYC verification process. Once that’s done though, you can purchase Coins by clicking on your wallet, and then clicking the “Purchase” button. From there, you’ll be able to select the Coin package you wish to purchase, and choose how you wish to pay.

Most payments are processed immediately. However, for payment via USDC on Ethereum, you will need to wait for payment to be confirmed, which can take a few minutes. Once that’s done though, your Coins and 4C Cash will be credited to your account, and you’ll be able to make a bet.

And after your funds have been played through at least once and you have acquired at least 50 4C Cash, you’ll be permitted to make a redemption. While officially 4Cx does state that redemptions can take a month to process, I’ve never heard of it actually taking that long — and instead, how long it will take to receive your funds will depend on your redemption method.

A normal bank transfer is free — but can take up to a week to process. USDC on Ethereum has a 0.25% fee, though will usually have redemptions paid out within 24 hours and sometimes even quicker. And finally, an instant bank transfer redemption is typically done within the hour — however, it incurs a 2% fee.

Is 4Cx Legit?

4Cx is still pretty new — however, the early signs suggest they’re in it for the long haul.

Parent company FOURCx Corporation is legit. Even better though, 4Cx has recently gained the investment of former Pinnacle CEO Paris Smith — which only adds to their credibility. And legally, they’re also keeping all their ducks in order.

When it comes to reaching customer support, users have three main avenues to contact them. Firstly, for non-urgent matters, email is probably the best. However, if you’re after quick answers, you can also contact them through Discord or via their live chat. Typically, responses take about 30 minutes. And once you get through to them, I found that they’re very helpful.

With all that being said though, one area that I do have to criticize them on is their FAQ page. As a sweeps sports betting site that has a lot of unique features, new users are undoubtedly going to have a lot of questions. And unfortunately, the FAQ page only answers two questions. This is really disappointing and further adds to the atmosphere of 4Cx not being suited to users new to sweepstakes sports betting.

I’m usually a fan of simplistic designs. But in the case of 4Cx, the site feels like it’s still in the beta stage of development.

A key component to the novelty of 4Cx is their peer-to-peer sports betting framework as well as the ability to set your own odds — however, neither of these features are effectively shown. And if you don’t know how the site works, it just looks like a minimalist sports betting platform.

To make matters worse, certain pages are improperly configured and have information overlaid over the top of essential buttons.

Things are better on the mobile site. Though regardless, it’s still hard to navigate towards the features that make 4Cx so exciting.

How It Stacks Up

Compared to other sweepstakes sports betting sites, 4Cx is the scrappy underdog. They’re less polished, and arguably the least beginner-friendly. However, for players hunting for maximum value, there’s arguably no better site currently on the market.

And that pretty much sums 4Cx up. If you’re after a casual sports betting experience, you’ll likely be better with just about any other site. But if you consider yourself a pro when it comes to any of the markets offered by 4Cx, then 4Cx stands out as a site where you can make some serious bank.

Our Experts Verdict

I really like 4Cx. Peer-to-peer sports betting typically has better long-term profitability when compared to the traditional structure where you bet against the house. And with 4Cx charging zero commission on all bets, you simply will not be able to find better odds at any other sweepstakes gaming site.

With that being said, 4Cx is going to need to put their funding to better use if they want to increase their player base. For the time being, 4Cx is not new user-friendly. This is a huge issue, as for peer-to-peer sports betting, big player bases are better for everyone — and so it is essential that all players are made to feel welcome.
